I think that is it stupid that women who are on the autism spectrum cannot donate their eggs. I am on the spectrum and I knew a woman also on the spectrum who tried to donate her eggs and was told that she wouldn't be able to donate her eggs because there was a possibility that her eggs might have Aspergers.

I think this video should've talked about male infertility too.. since infertility can effect both genders.. just my opinion.. also it's help repair and false facts and stigma that only women are to blame for infertility when it may not be them but their male significant other or both of them.
Edit: Also can we add in breast cancer in men too... for the same reasons b/c people don't realize it's very possible to happen as well in them

Endometriosis is similar tissue it is not the same as what it is in the uterus, 70% of women with endometriosis will conceive but obviously surgery and other things may decrease the percentage 💛

The test she was talking about, where they inject a dye into your uterus and Fallopian tubes, is called a sonohysterogram. They are not supposed to hurt, but for a small percentage of women, it is very painful...i happen to be one of those women. It felt like the worst period cramps ever...multiplied by 30x!

@joyousorrow Well, yeah. Cause if you take out a vital organ you'd die lol

    • joyousorrow
      joyousorrow 4 months ago +1

@Kain Hargrieves I knew some organs you don't need to have passed on (i.e. donating one of your kidneys is one of the organs you can donate while still being alive). But Didn't know that was one of the organs you can. If I recall most of the more vital ones you can't donate while you're alive though.

    • Kain Hargrieves
Kain Hargrieves 4 months ago +3

@joyousorrow Not necessarily. I read an article where a woman, who had three children already, wanted to donate her uterus so someone else so they can have their own kids. She did it. You don't have to be dead to donate an organ you don't need.

Do you still "loose" eggs every month if you have an IUD? And if you have one does your chances of getting preagnent after taking it off decreases?

    • Julia Arnold
      Julia Arnold 5 months ago

Renata Vontobel yes, the purpose of an iud is to cause irritation to the walls of the uterus to stop proper implantation. Everything else remains the same.

    • Julius Ceaser
