      So personal opinion here:
I'd prefer you wait until you can use more footage. I love watching your videos and appreciate the more in depth videos. I see what you're going for but I usually like that longer videos lol

    Another project ruined by hollywood.
The stories should be seperate, not tied together. The nonsense of throwing it all together and giving it this ending was ridiculous. This 80s kid says the movie does the books no justice. Goosebumps junk.

This movie was rather creepy than scary, but it was a good movie and the books have the same creepy vibe and there are like 6 books of scary stories to tell in the dark so it would be nice to see the other monsters inside later movies

I feel like, the importance of the Vietnam war is getting overlooked in the reviews of this movie... Ramon's reason for running from draft is that his brothers body literally came back in pieces, as he says, and the monster he encounters later? Is body parts that come together. Tommy actually was eager to go to Vietnam to "beat these commies", he beats scarecrow regularly cause he's afraid of it, probably since childhood, and he was actually the only one to charge at his monster, but still dies despite of his bravery... Through movie we have radiohost talking about Nixon, war, and importance of voting Nixon out to avoid going to the war. And at the end of the movie, after monster is "beaten", Stella writes her book, but most people don't believe her, Ramon goes to war, to face his fears, his monsters again, but there is still hope, that he will come back, that other kids will come back.

Great video! I really love the parallels between Stella and Sarah in the movie. Both are outsiders who like to tell scary stories. While all of the characters had a connection to their monster, Sarah Bellows was specifically paralleled with Stella, she's what Stella is afraid to become. Even the fact that Stella believes that she's the reason her mother left (and everyone in town says so) like how everyone believed that Sarah was the villain, so much so that she did become the villain as a ghost. That's why Stella literally became Sarah in "the haunted house" story. Stella had to find the strength to tell Sarah that she knows she is not the villain. This entire experience leads Stella to publish her story about Sarah Bellows, allowing her to keep her promise to Sarah, but also allowing Stella to put herself out into the world in a way she hasn't done since her mother left. I thought it was a unique take on the relationship between the protagonist and the antagonist.

This movie is hands down my favorite horror movie as of now. If your someone who wants to see it but is discouraged due to the PG- 13 movie, still go see it. It’s worth the time and money. The effects and scenery are amazing and together they make everything feel so real.

Something that is ironic is how Auggie is always talking to his friends about not eating something because of “How many body parts are in it” or “How it can cause infertility” yet in his story he eats a stew with several body parts in it.

I had a love/hate feeling about this movie. The characters were hateable and cringy. Most parts seemed childish to me. Too much Toilet humor and poor lines. However it was interesting to see some of my favorite stories come to life on film.

This movie did exactly what it was supposed to. It was no masterpiece but it was well acted, the effects were nice and blended well, and the subject matter was just dark enough to make it ok for kids to watch.

I'm gonna sound like a nerd, but uuuuh... the 'big toe monster' wasn't that monster they used in the movie. That lady was actually from a story about a priest who went to stay in a haunted house and met the ghost of a woman who'd been murdered by her husband there. She gave him her finger bone and told him that it would find the one responsible for her murder. When he brought it with him to church the next day, the bone locked onto a man in the crowd.
Sorry. It was one of my favorites from the books. XD

There was no visual of the toe lady, and Sarah was the movie version of her. So I guess they just made her the toe lady. After all that was a terrifying image they had to put in the film
