"Marriage? But papa would never allow it. Elope? But what about the zombies?" That, was the moment I lost it. I think that was the funniest line since "give me a kernel of corn and lets play butt hole pachinko". I fuckin love these and have for years. I'm so glad you're making them again.
Right. Contact through massages please.. Tq.
Facts of humanbeings... Massage me.. Tq.
Why does that sound like a show I would watch 🤣
That whole video was funny.. I laughed from beginning to end.
I swear he got that line from Pride, Prejudice, and Zombies.
In 1972, over 100 Snow Monkeys were brought to a sanctuary in Texas. Somehow they adapted to the new environment and survived. Today there are over 600. One of the things that they came up with was an entirely new warning sound/cry for rattlesnake.
i too live in texas and have a warning cry for rattlesnake. it goes something like this “OH SHIT!” then a slow but panicky backwards walk
Same happened in FL, not Snow macaques, but they formed troops and are deep in numbers now.
"Theres a snake in muh boot"
"Sharon, get me my gun"
Damn it texas
That’s neat
I like how we named what’s basically the Macaque Einstein after potatoes
@nikko validor little war boots*
He hated that name too, who knows, imon just got tired of the constant harrassment
@organicleaf
That's what Iw as going to comment except say in Norwegian (Nynorsk).
Though if you Google translate Ein stein in German, google knows best, google knows all, and it corrects it to Einstein (people)
While in Norwegian it does not, because Norway is a conspiracy :)
7:55
@Atman Gotango They knew how to live life fully
the irony is that "einstein" means "one rock" in german
After all the stuff Potato discovered, I'm slightly surprised it didn't notice "If you leave a few grains in the dirt, it makes more grains" and invent macaque agriculture.
@Moritz R squirels do that too, when they forget
that's what I was thinking though grain won't grow in salty sand...
but what I was hoping for/still hoping for is that they learn to leave the potatoes in the hot spring for a period and discover "cooking" in theory they would spend less time breaking it down and get more energy out of those cooked potatoes, then maybe one of them will try cooking the grains and make a porridge.
That would be like watching our ancestor master cooking.
Might also be an instant gratification thing. Why wait awhile for more grain when you can just eat the grain that is regularly brought to you. growing fruit, veggies, and grains is hard work; i always forget this when i decide to garden every spring
look into fungus farming ants, some even farm aphids
I would so want that to be called macaquericulture.
it’s crazy to think that our existence relies on a single monkey like potato. They did things differently and now we exist. life’s wild
@鬼いちゃんww potato
@Jp the pug imagine if potato
@MidnightDStroyer imagine if they manage to make high voltage with the potatoes learning faster than us then they will think we are the dumb ones
If they ever figure out how to turn those potatoes into low-yield batteries, we hoomanz iz all screwed.
Imo: _washes potatoes, creates condiments_
Researchers: "Interesting."
Imo: _uses water as a sieve and cleaning agent_
Researcher: "Innovative."
Imo: _creates stone tools_
Researchers: "Wait. Hold up."
Imo: _creates fire_
Researchers: "Uhm..."
Imo: _creates language, social stratification, and Macaque mythos_
Researchers: "Uh oh! What do we do? Oh! Let's give them a hot tub in winter!"
Imo: _chills in hot tub, stops inventing_
Researchers: "Phew! That was close."
Imo: _learns about thermodynamics, nuclear fusion, and dimensional probabilities while in the tub_
Researchers: "Oh no!"
@Alias Fakename they knew that the fire was stuck in the rock, so they kept trying to release it
@Neikrodent that's why they make salty potatoes, not nuclear bomba
@Neikrodent boy, they already have the thinky thinky parts
Imo in the tub: "Eureka!" x'D
Hahaha best comment yet
I forgot about this channel and searched “sarcastic animal commentator” and found the channel i wanted
What a great vid! I love the commentator's sense of humor. I laughed till I was crying. Where have you been all my life? Thank you.
The writers should write Airplane 3. Then they can go punz blazing.
Ze frank is so much more than that
Any path. It worked! Please watch the duck and the frog and the sea creatures. His content is gold.
Is this the Artic Monkeys everyone's been talking about
@Kelsey Williams Sad to see them go (RIP Imō :c)
@Brief Anger if these monkeys go both ways
Do you wanna know?
@Sergeant_Chris no artic
“Pride and prejudice and zombies “reference… How is he so brilliant. Even his sponsorship placement was so good I didn’t zip through it.
“They both want the pipe again. Not a euphemism”🤣
Wooo, 666th like! 😂😈
Pipelaying laying on a pipe.
"No; it's too long to be mahcock."
"Jerry don't do that. Leave Macaca where it was; don't play with it."
Surprise how he hasn't made a true facts about dolphins yet
@Yandere Venom I’d imagine so. In True Facts: the Pangolin Posse, towards the end there’s a callback to a Dolphin episode
@Dank Torvosaurus removed?! for what?! 😮 TheXvid’s censoring or… ?
I think he has, but it was probably removed
Wolves too!
"Its too long to be macaque"
That is a most brilliant subtle joke ive ever heard
Yesssssss!!!!! I’m dying laughing over this line
@Patrick Sarama 00:05
Where was it?
mahcock
"Marriage!? But papa wouldn't allow it"
"Elope?"
Sounds melodramatic, straight from Romeo and Juliet, then then came, "but what about the zombies?" Ahaha
"It's too long be be mahcock" probably one of the funniest jokes I've heard on this channel
I like “you soup” killed me!!!
@BbrokenRonin 1 lol I feel like "yet not so bold" could be an alternate definition too "subtle" haha.
I rather for it to be mahcock than antcock lol 🤭
Caught me so off guard 🤣🤣
I'm so happy to see this. Give it a million years and macaques might be the new society.
Seriously: what sadistic person thought mixing the wheat into the sand was a good idea?!
@Rusty Jones 🤔 I wonder if it was someone who'd been fired from one of those Japanese gameshows...
Japanese researchers
“Look up a picture of a dictionary inside of a moron and you will find me” 😂😂😂
Dude you are truly a genius. Thank you for these.... I just discovered them recently and you have TRULY made this bastard of a year better. 🤗🥰🥳😘
I was fortunate enough to vacation in Japan a few years ago, and up by Chuzenji Lake there were a lot of signs warning about aggressive macaques. Apparently they'd learned that people carried food in white plastic bags and occasionally attacked people carrying them. The sign concluded with the polite but rather ominous line in English, "Some troubles occurred in this area."
I swear Zefrank's voice sounds like a white morgan freeman
@Jane E Smith Phrasing.
@Cody Allen The first True Facts was about Hedgehogs.
@Cody Allen I thought he started with Sad Cat Diaries?
Well he got his start with true facts about Morgan Freeman and it kind of evolved from there so yeah, that's kind of the point
Cracking up and fascination is the two things that happen to me when I watch your videos. Humans don't usually exhibit these two behaviors simultaneously!
You're a genius sir.
"Look up a picture of a dictionary inside of a moron and you'll find me." That is the most elegantly brutal burn I have ever received and it wasn't even meant for me. Well done.
Please never leave us again Zefrank. You produce a valuable resource on this grumpy planet.
LOL..'you know how your father went to go get ciggarettes and never came back? I'm telling you know to go get ciggaretts now.' OMG, Priceless!
"YeAH?"
If school was this entertaining everyone in the country would be a genius.
@fumikumi alright genius, it's one of three primarily English speaking countries. there, narrowed it down for ya.
In the country? What country genius?
awesomely hilarious as always. i'd like to know how those researchers keep the study macaques from totally switching to dependence on sweet potatoes and wheat kernels. stupid humans.
"even a small injury can lead to death because they havent invented doctors yet" 😂
Give Imo's descendents some time, they're working on it
Bravo I absolutely love how you narrated this clip. Very informative and very entertaining. Thank you
" Butt-Violence is dangerous..Sorry, BUT Violence is dangerous. Jerry we have to proofread this!"
........
" They are also very good at communicating with there feces, Sorry, faces. Jerry!"
I lost it at that part XD
Honestly would love if you did one about frogs or toad, even more so on the giant pixie grog. 🐸
Ever since I found this dude I been binging his videos😂😂 this is a genius mix of animal documentaries and comedy
I will never get tired of hearing him say "behbes"
Or bieeeerds
Yeah, I have to repeat it outloud xD
Sounds like the french « Bébé » ^^
🅱️e🅱️🅱️iss
Gluerrrrr. Poolerrrrr. Errrrr
"Science word for taint." I had to pause to stop laughing. Twice, cuz, yeah I went back to hear that again. So glad to see you making new content - better than ever!
I call it the chin rest......
I just found this channel and it's addictively hilarious. In this one, the part where one of them pees in the water had me laughing so hard I had to pause the video while I soaked the tears from my eyes.
Thanks frank, as usual you make me laugh every time !! We can all use more humor these days that's for sure !!
I've just discovered Zefranks vids. Laughing my tits off. XD
Interesting, entertaining, AND educational. If I had a company you'd be hired, but you probably wouldn't want to work for me, coz all I do while waiting for the apocalypse is watch vids like this making fun of weird earthlings.
Well done my friend, well done. I love this stuff... so petty yet gratifying
Every creature has it's own knowledge and beauty. This video gives us the almighty's art in the nature canvas.
"I swear, Look at the picture of a dictionary inside of a moron and you'll find me" This man is an absolute legend.
I always love ZeFrank’s informative persiflages. Hilarious!
And I’m quite certain his French is parfait!
HOW am I just finding this series? These are HILARIOUS.
Awe I had no idea the people living there built them more jacuzzi like tubs! That's super sweet. Amazing .
2:14 is my favorite part by FAR, I can't stop replaying it!
My stomach hurts from laughing so hard. This one is another gem! Ty for continuing to bring us these my guy.
"Even a small injury can lead to death, because they haven't invented doctors yet"
- zefrank 2020
Yet
This man has become one of my favorite TheXvidrs
???
"it's tricky right? That could be a nose." Lol I also find it funny how you get such a kick out of watching animals walk in rewind. The hippo's were hilarious.
@zefrank1 I would love to see what you come up with for this little guy. I just came across it in my travels through the inter-webs and when I heard the technical name, I instantly thought of you. The Leaf Sheep, Leaf Slug...
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Costasiella_kuroshimae
I can’t believe I don’t have to pay to watch this masterpiece 😂
I love how he doesn’t edit the parts where he’s trying not to laugh.
Is Jerry okay? He's making a lot of errors here
Has any one ever seen this 'Jerry' guy? Wouldn't that make him an imaginary friend?
Sheeprwer - This.. this is the one ...
Jerry stoned as f as always smdh 🙄
That’s what quarantine does to you I don’t blame him we all feel it 🤣
@GODOFAWSOMENESS1 plot twist. We are all koalas
2:15 i keep dying at this part XD
Yes lmbooo 🤣😭🤣
OMG!!! Just found this channel a few days ago and love it!! It’s a much needed distraction , it’s educational and provides much needed belly laughs!!! Thank you
"Humans who live in colder climates usually keep bitching about it, except for canadians who keep it bunched up." Im canadian lol
This is such an outstanding outrageously funny laugh fest. I love it I love everything little bigger than life funny there is here!
Okay but using salt-water to season your potatoes is kinda cool.
@Amigo21189 I now further understand the reasoning behind the taxonomy of our species
@Darth Bane ah a religious person. Pretty understandable
@Darth Bane I do actually understand how evolution works, it's a provable mechanism in nature. Your sin is wrath and you are certainly not going to a paradise.
@Darth Bane You'll be ashes. That's for sure. Don't project.
@Darth Bane you don't understand how evolution works.
6:06 - funnny reference to Jane Austen-style palaver! The monkey's facial expressions are incredible, no wonder there are so many PhDs based on them.
What always bothered me, is what happens to these macaques when they come out of the hot tub? How come they don't freeze to death??
The last clip had me an inhuman laugh, wasn't expecting that 😅
I always laugh with these videos. Thank you. Love you stuff ❤️
you're probably the only channel whose sponsorship portion I'll watch through, you and your voiceovers rock
ZeFrank and Internet Comment Etiquette with Erik are the best in the business when it comes to entertaining sponsor promos.
You guys should check out Internet Comment Etiquette sponsorship ads :D
Internet historian's ads are almost as good as his videos. I think he might make a show about nordvpn man
i hate them but this one felt apart of the show/video.
I’m surprised you didn’t mention how those snow monkeys figured out how to use vending machines.
Ze Frank, I wish you would share your experience as a voiceover artist, cause you are doing an incredible job. I’m wondering if it takes you several takes to make it so sound so natural and what tips or methods do you use to narrate so interestingly? Thanks
Monkeys are so smart! It's impressive what some of them have learned to do out in the wild
WHAT
Okay, I know this series is awesome and funny, but the idea of primate culture and seasoning food is straight-up amazing. I am so glad I got to learn about it!
"Get these guys a deep fryer" "Sure, a few may fall in, but that's how I learned to swim"
I haven't laughed so hard to where I've cried in a long, long time.
@AngusTheBeef it's a great quote. You have to find a good one and be fast about it.
@MzARavenLunatic 😂
I was thrown in that's I learned how to swim that's also how I learn to respect and fear the water and my aunt
I heard the ones in the hot springs never learned to swim under water. But with all the tourists coming to see them. Their young learned how to go under water to get all the food. Not sure how many generations that took.
Please do one on the Alligator Snapping Turtle, such fascinating creatures
"Butt violence is dangerous"
🤣🤣🤣
Jerry totally needs a raise
This is the second video I've seen with a butt/but joke. Subtle butt, sorry, subtle but hilarious.
So funny. I love watching these videos. Changes my mood from😡 to 🤣 instantly
Cant wait for the horses one...
"Next time you feel safe around a horse, just remember they're omnivores."
@choculus never said anything about sustaining themselves. Just the fact they are.
I'm pretty sure true omnivory means adaptations to digest both meat and plants. Lots of ungulate herbivores will occasionally eat meat products, like bone marrow, though they do it for the minerals. They could get the equivalent nutrients from a mineral lick. But they can't sustain on meat anyhow.
@Wolf Knight cool so you witnessed a horse desperate enough to eat a chicken and did nothing to help the horse or the chicken.
This is all bullshit. Horses are very picky eaters and carefully pick out their food before they chew and swallow.
These are so entertaining, but also so full of very interesting tidbits!
Personally I love pandas, and a lot of people say they're useless-
But I think you should do a True Facts about the Panda.
I also love all of these videos!
I haven't laughed this hard in a long time! New subscriber now! Thanks for the laughs!
They're pretty much in a stone age now. It's crazy!
“Meanwhile this one is warming up his noodle on the hot pipe, then she comes along and says ‘I’ll take it al-dente.”
I’ll never see a spaghetti noodle the same way ever again.
Very funny and informative! Great wordplay!
I've been at that snow monkey park. Honestly quite relaxing and peaceful
When the wheat grains were brought out, I half expected them to learn agriculture and take over humanity.
As it always is with your videos, this one was hilariously educational. Although I must say when I saw you made one about macaques I was really hoping to learn why they're such assholes to their Bebe's? Sequel? Please?
... I thought for a second that he was going to say that they planted the grains and began a tradition of farming lol
@Semaj_502 seeing as potatoes are one of the easiest crops to grow relatively quickly and can do quite well in rather poor soils, its possible any bits of potato that may have had an eye forming that might have been dropped in dirt could have propagated via the macaques. Though since they have their potatos delivered they might not know that they grow underground since they don't actually forage for them. It would be interesting to see if they eventually figure it out.
Just wait till Imo's great great granddaughter is born. She's gonna learn to plant and farm the grains and deep fry sweet potatoes
maybe someday some grain will be lost in the ground and grow and one monkey will make the connection...
That'd be cool as shit
Educating and hilarious 😂😂 I just love it!!!👍
Thanks for being with us this year ze (:
I'm laughing my ass off, but this was so much good information at once. You tha best
Please, please, pretty please with a jumbo-sized cherry on top, do one about the Jacana Bird. Those things are beautifully creepy.
“Warming up his noodle and she says ill take it al dente.” Clever asf
@lizer bernad i know what it actually means, i was talking about the joke...
@Elly Gershovich It means firm, or hard.
"resortsful" YOU SIR ARE THE SMARTEST PERSON WHO EVER LIIIIIIVED. That's what you sound like
Most of his jokes are brilliant he is the funniest bloke's I've come across on U Tube I can't not laugh at his jokes and they just keep on rolling along one after another!!! Awesome content.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
The last part at the end got me! 😂
One of the first videos I watched after the great Texas internet and power outage of ‘21. Can’t begin to tell you how much this was sorely needed!!!!😂😂😂😂
This dude is HILARIOUS love his commentary
Calling the smartest monkey in japan “potato” seems quite insulting 😂😂😂😂
"Look up a picture of a dictionary inside of a moron and you'll find me."
Nobel level writing if I ever heard any.
This went right over my head till I found your comment
ZeFrank knows best
I love this guy!! I can picture Stewie Griffin telling these stories. Oh, can't stop laughing!!!!
Once you have watched his videos so much you can narrate along without missing a word turn CC on and watch youtube try and keep up.
“Butt violence is...*sorry typo* but Violence is...”
@Clayton Baker yah I’m sure he has a few jokes people don’t catch or appreciate as much as they should
"But she sits up, right?
Sorry. Upright..."
That one made me laugh too hard.
I’ve been to this park it’s like magic. Being so close to nature. There are no bars or fences. You literally walk with the monkeysz
I had no idea that the whole “snow macaques use hot springs” thing wasn’t natural, but man-made
@recoil53 It's a natural hot spring, just dug out and enlarged by man.
@recoil53 Yes
@Matthijs Noyce So the area has hot springs, but they have their own man made ones?
I mean, they stared doing it on their own. We just gave them a special hot spring just for them so they wouldn't have to use tourist locations. And, in the process, created a new tourist attraction.
Would love to see a true facts on scorpions.
When you watched the monkeys walking in reminded, it looked like a parade of little pink hearts surrounded in a black fur coats!
For anyone who wants to see an incredible and adorable animal that should also be in one of these videos look up a leaf sheep
You should do a video for Leap Sheep! They're so cute and... weird looking
