Chinese unknown product = Fraud = thief with smiles. It is just the fundamental Chinese people mentality in contrast with Japanese. Japan industry learn and study Western technology but they do not just make it cheaper. They make it better and even make factories in USA and export it to Japan like Honda or Toyota.

Well the one SSD I own is a (OLD MODEL) Crucial MX200 500GB SATA 2.5” 7mm (with 9.5mm adapter) Internal Solid State Drive - CT500MX200SSD1. read and write speeds of 555r/510w. I bought mine in 2015 and love it!!!!!!!! Looking at the speed of that SSD in the chart and wow "its kind of slow" But I do love mine :) I never really used much space either on this laptop I use only 91GB used and 351GB free space. Works as fast in 2019 or faster than the 4 years ago when I bought it:)

my experience with their nvme 512GB 2242 ssd is not bad. kingspec was the only one selling 2242 nvme >= 512GB capacity. it works very well with my thinkpad wwan slot with the only downside that the temperature can get to 73 celcius. which is 3 degrees above the operating temperature. so the ssd throttles under prolonged load. can get at least 31MB/s on the lowest score on crystal diskmark.while the highest score being 1GB/s.

I've had 2 SSDs in my computer one was a SanDisk SSD that died less than a year after I bought it, decided I would run on an HDD until I could buy an Samsung 850 Evo, however at a local bargain store that sells surplus or returned items from online stores for $5 (a place called gimme a 5) I came across this SSD, it did not have a box, and it had a huge dent on it (metal enclosure) I figured it's only $5 not a big loss of it doesn't work or does quickly. Bought it, installed it, found it worked and was a 512GB model, installed Windows and waited for it to die so I could get my 850 Evo, that was back in March of 2016, and it is still my main drive for my pc, it's running z97, 4790k and a GTX 970 to give you an idea how long ago this was, it was, when I bought my SanDisk SSD it was a 120 GB model that I payed $60 or $80 for died less than 9 months after I bought it brand new, with only Windows and league of legends installed on it, everything else was stored to one of my 5 HDD so for me it was easily the greatest $5 I've ever spent

The reason why it can be cheaper than a major company can be solved in 3 answers. #1. They have no name brand to throw on the pricetag. #2. They probably didn't do any R&D because it's (probably) from China so they probably just stole the tech. #3. They probably have really awful tech support. I could add a #4 and say it's made with much cheaper components.

So, I bought a cheap Kingston that's more than a third cheaper than an 860 evo for the same capacity, and every time a sizeable write function is being executed, it brings everything to a halt. If windows update is running, Windows won't even respond to clicking on the start button or even switch tabs on chrome.

I know this is off topic and as funny as it seems i've got a kingdian 60gb ssd with okayish performance and i only got it to boot up my windows faster and it actually does that job in like 10 seconds im in windows all jokes aside the 20 dollars i spent on it were well worth and oddly enough ive been using it for the last 2 years and im planning to buy the 25 dollars one that they have rn which offers even better specs which are more for game loading times and just use it for some gaming tests and if it performs better i might this one for the windows only and install 2 or 3 of my main games and game on that new ssd or better yet load the game off of it if it makes sense? :)

You're totally right. I bought one Kingpsec 480GB SSD and it was a disaster. The writing speed starts at 300 MB/s but if you have a file larger than 100 MB it drops instantly to 20 MB/s. This SSD performs worse than a HDD on my PC and my PS4. Although cheap it's useless. A real waste of money
