You can pick up a 1TB SSD for $90 on Ali. It's no Samsung but it does beat the hell out of any HDD.

dram-less ssd is kinda funny though, they appear extremely cheap when you are looking at 500GB region, the price difference vs ssd with dram is stupidly low. it's like dram less ssd is not cheap throughout the board

Disagree with Linus sugestions. I have more than 10 PC's (desktops and notebooks) and for the last 5 years two SSD"s failed - one Adata and one Intel. So, even the well known brand (Intel) is not reliable at 100%. Sure it is annoing to lose all data, but this is life - it happens. As for the speeds write/read of the SSD drives - every company is telling lies, the reality is 10-30% lower speeds. The only SSD's brand i never tested is Samsung, because those corean clowns are in my blacklist.

It's happened with many products that I've seen floating about amazon so I'd recommend to not trust the total rating from reviews as much anymore.

keep assuming the drive is bad but stats and your tests seems not too bad, if you claim that if it will slow down when drive is full then fill it up then test it again then instead of talking long with loud voice, just show the data
