Disney/Pixar’s Coco opens in theatres in 3D November 22 in 3D!
Despite his family’s baffling generations-old ban on music, Miguel (voice of newcomer Anthony Gonzalez) dreams of becoming an accomplished musician like his idol, Ernesto de la Cruz (voice of Benjamin Bratt). Desperate to prove his talent, Miguel finds himself in the stunning and colorful Land of the Dead following a mysterious chain of events. Along the way, he meets charming trickster Hector (voice of Gael García Bernal), and together, they set off on an extraordinary journey to unlock the real story behind Miguel's family history. Directed by Lee Unkrich, co-directed by Adrian Molina and produced by Darla K. Anderson, Disney•Pixar’s “Coco” opens in U.S. theaters on Nov. 22, 2017.

The port of entry to get through the marigold flower petals bridge reminds me of US customs at Tijuana/San Diego, it could well be a metaphor to represent the topic of immigration. Anywho, Beautiful movie!

GAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH, I WANT! TO SEE! THIS MOVIE! Ah, I want it on DVD NOW, but, if it does really well, which it definitely seems to be, it'll probably stay in theaters for a while. I'm guessing it'll be March next year that it gets released, maybe February if we're lucky and that's just my wishful thinking there.
It looks so BEAUTIFUL! The animation looks perfect, the characters look wonderful, I bet the music is wonderful, I WANT IT NOW!

Xelku9 the only living person who truly remembered him had almost forgotten him.

    • Jordan Valencia
Jordan Valencia 2 years ago +2

not really, Mayan stories of the afterlife has been illustrated in the book of life movie, you don't vanish, you end up in the land of the forgotten, there are 2 lands in the mesoamerican afterlife, one where you are remembered, and one where you are forgotten. if you look at where the flower bridge lands, it goes from the cemetary to the mesoamerican pyramid platforms.

    • Xelku9
      Xelku9 2 years ago +1

But there are still living people who remember him right? If there weren't, he'd have vanished long ago. Thats kind of sad now that I think about it. Only existing in the afterlife so long as someone living still remembers you? Thats kinda unfair.
