Lennox Glassjaw Lewis is a idiot. Everyone knows that Wilder has limited knowledge of boxing so how in the hell is anyone exposed? And btw Lennox what happened to Stevern the second time he fought Wilder? Exactly what will happen to Fury!!!

Everybody can respect Lennox Lewis opinions here, because they know he is a Heavyweight titan from an era of hard boxers. But only if it suits them. Eg, They all be agreeing with his words with Fury being robbed but they can’t agree when Lewis says that AJ keeps ducking Wilder. Moral is fact is a fact don’t disagree because of how you feel about certain people personally you muppets

The fight was not a great fight by any stretch of comparing it with other great heavyweight title fights throughout boxing history.
Furthermore, neither Wilder nor Fury will crack boxing’s 100 top all time greatest heavyweights by the time their respective careers are over if this is the best they can offer.
Their foul language and conduct is demeaning to the profession of boxing and don’t give me “its designed to generate the gate.”
I wish George Foreman was again 44-45 years of age having to teach by pounding some civil sense into both ... especially Fury.
Wilder needs a great manager and trainer to help salvage his career which has all the earmarks of spiraling downward even as it should be on the upswing. It’s all about leveraging punches, conservation of energy by connecting with shots rather than by missing so many punches which depletes energy. He needs a total work over in his footwork and setting capabilities.
Joshua has to be licking his chops as he awaits his opportunity.

Lennox Lewis is a washed-up has-been who's hating on Wilder LOL. Get over yourself. He could never do what Wilder does and he's mad. Wilder is doing something right, he has knocked out everyone he has ever faced. Including marshmallow fury. That count was an embarrassment to the sport. Who cares about winning rounds when you knocking out everybody. That's what boxing is all about... the KO and Wilder is a KO master. tyson fury had a total of 22 seconds before the fight resumed. Watch it and count

WILDER had 2 10-8 rounds. Thats winning 4 rounds. If the judges just give wilder 2 rounds there is your draw. 3 is the win. Wilder controlled the ring which counts in judges eye. Fury NEVER hurt wilder. Plus ref picked up count late. Now i know there is nothing to this next statement. But when ref got to five he literally screamed in furys face and looked like that woke him up. Bottom line is it should have been called. Usually when ur out like that fight is over. He wasn't dizzy, or shaky legs or rocked, he was out! That's how tragedy happen in boxing. Mma if ur out cold like that they don't let u wake back up and continue. It's over

Fury had two tune up figths prior to fighting Wilder he might not have really taken a hit a serious punch in either of those fights but he didn't come in to the Wilder fight straight from that long layoff.

  • MadMax382
    MadMax382 5 months ago

Disagree with Lewis. I predicted Wilder in the first six. Fury surprised me by even standing for 12 rounds after so long out. But as Lewis himself said, Wilder fought terribly. You can hardly imagine him fighting worse, whereas Fury was giving his best - ever performance. His supporters will say that given how long he's been out he'll only get better. I don't believe this. I think having tasted Wilder's power, when the American didn't even catch him flush, he will be more apprehensive and defensive in any rematch. Wilder will have learned. The right hand that dropped his man in the 12th was thrown straight, not the cranked - up telegraphed haymakers he was throwing all night. He'll have learned that Fury can't hurt him, that the Brit cannot take his power, not to be so rushed in trying to knock him out. He'll be the more relaxed, and this time WILL stop it in 6 rounds,.wherever the ,fight is held. He would have done the job here, but missing so much all night is exhausting, and he was punched out the second half of round twelve.

    I COULDN'T AGREE LESS.
    LENNOX LEWIS COULD BOX.
IT WAS A SOURCE OF PRIDE TO SEE A FIGHTER AS GIFTED AS HE WAS WHO WAS BRITISH.
I HAVE NOTHING AGAINST TYSON FURY, I ACTUALLY ADMIRE HIS OUTSPOKENNESS.
BUT, COMMON ON GUYS, HE CAN'T BOX.
    HE'S EMBARRASSING TO WATCH.
    HE LOOKS OUT OF SHAPE.
I COULDN'T CARE LESS THAT HE LOST 50 LBS OR 100 LBS.
I'M HAPPY FOR HIM THAT HE SURVIVED SUICIDAL THOUGHTS.
BUT AT A PURELY SPORTING LEVEL, HE'S NO ATHLETE.
ALI, TYSON, SUGAR RAY, HAGLER, NORTON, FOREMAN, DURAN AND THE LIST GOES ON WERE ALL ATHLETES AND SOME.
    TYSON FURY IS LUCKY.
HE'S WHITE, BRITISH AND TALL WITH A LONG REACH AND A MODICUM OF BOXING TALENT.
HOW MANY BLACK AMERICANS WITH LOADS MORE TALENT ARE LANGUISHING IN GYMS AS SPARING PARTNERS OR SHOULD I SAY PUNCH BAGS?
AND TYSON DIDN'T WIN THAT FIGHT.
I CAN'T UNDERSTAND HOW IT WAS A DRAW.
    WILDER WAS ROBBED.
THE POWERS THAT BE HAVE FIGURED THAT THE BEST WAY TO SET UP A RE-MATCH IS TO CALL IT A DRAW.
IT SEEMS AS CLEAR AS DAYLIGHT TO ME.

  • KingPin Littlejohn

All the comlaints say robbery but this was not robbery. The score couldve went that way i guarantee we all have seen worse. You cant get knockdown twice and leave as much on the table as tyson fury and call it robbery. I know why he feel he won and i know why most ppl feel he won but Wilder is the WBC champ. Wilder had him in trouble not the other way around. And some of those rounds were close meaning fury didnt dominate. He clinched and showboated. Ive seen plenty fights be close when they should be landslides. Mayweather vs Maidana 1 was a split. Maidana didnt do anything but throw wild punches. Floyd outlanded and punched less. Countered well and no knockdowns. But it was a split decision. Wonder who couldve scored it that way huh??? He was in america though. Yall making excuses for fury he didnt do enough to say he won clearly. You leave it to the judges you run that risk period. Every judge not gonna see the fight the same and they score differently. All judges dont even think you win rounds based off landed punches anyway and there are plenty times we have seen that to be the case. Accept the draw folks. Fury needs to do more next time and dominate wilder. Wilder still done what wilder does. Fury aint dominate folks he wasnt robbed.

Let’s all put the 12th round KO conspiracy to bed whiny babies.
I’ve timed it with a stop watch 3 times and Fury is up at 9.9 seconds and coherent. Truth is he almost screwed himself because he wasn’t out cold, that is too obvious to mention. He was recouping and almost overstayed his welcome on the floor. The man was never out, if he had been, he wouldn’t gotten up when he did, and no way would he be coherent enough to continue so please people, it’s bad enough too many of you refuse to acknowledge CompuBox stats which prove FURY WON, but now you cats are creating conspiracies not even being debated by most people because they know better.

I think wilder won. Wilder had nearly the same number of punchs but much harder and two knock downs that nearly resulted in a KO. The trick is with fury to just take chances, get close inside his space and aim for the head. Wilder was too cautious and he will know that in the rematch while tyson will be in even better shape. The rematch won't be so boring. Hope wilder fights aj because that will be fun to watch. Aj vs tyson would be a boring knock out by aj in the first half with tyson twitching all over the place
