    dude, dehydration is a fat deficiency! particularly vitamin A.
    The truth is, you don't need that much water, all you need is balanced electrolytes so please stop that bullshit myth.
    You only need 1 to 2 cups per day, maybe 3 if you're working out or sweating a lot in the summer. Just listen to your body, it tells you that it does not need all that amount but you kept forcing it! Plain water is dehydrating! it cant be absorbed by the body, so the more you drink the more want to drink( and pee obviously ) : It gives you the illusion that you're hydrating yourself but you're not. It leaches minerals and nutrients from you body. If you drink juice or milk then its slightly better because the water is ionised, so it much more available to the cells.
    Also how much salt you eat plays a crucial role, check out the electrolyte balance that the body needs( magnesium/potassium and sodium) If you add sodium to your diet that your sodium intake is probably already high enough and that's where all the dehydration comes from.
    Since I increased my fat intake and at the same time decreased my water intake, my hair, skin have improved dramatically, and I don't feel thirst anymore. Just try it for yourself, don't believe me.
    And stop listening to the recommendations of the stupid ignorant government scientists which are sponsored by water company to sell as much water as possible. See indigenous tribes and hunter gatherers how little they drink water, and they are always moving in the sun but they are not dehydrated.
    And think about it this way, WHY ON EARTH would you force yourself to drink water if you don't feel thirsty????
    I assume you have a completely different relationship with hunger right? You eat when you're hungry, so it should be the same when it comes to thirst.
    Water does not hydrate guys, stop believing this lie and try it for yourselves!!!!
    If you eat enough healthy fat, ( basically saturated and high in vitamin A, D and K) from grass fed animals, you don't need that much water! Just test it you got nothing to lose!

    Just to let others know, I’ve read that the amount of ounces of water you should drink per day is your weight dived by 2, etc. 100/2=50 ounces

    I personally hate the LifeSum app because it doesn’t allow me to customize the keto diet to my own body, but I do love YAZIO. It allows more customization in my opinion.

    That whole 8 glasses of water thing is based on misinformation. It was based on a military test of troops in the desert. The study found that they needed 8 drinks of water of 8 ounces each. 8 ounces is a cup by the way. So not near as much water as people think. And that is only if you're in the desert.

    Also consider that as an athlete you CAN drink too much water and get drunk, since it changes the salt content in your blood. So that why athletes drink gatorade to replenish electrolytes.

    I actually drink a liter and a half of water a day without even trying. Few years ago I increased drastically my water intake after multiples infections and it made it stop completely so now it's natural

    I got this really good advice like a year ago and I have been doing it since. You should drink about 2 glass of water right before bed and in the morning you will have to go to toilet right when you wake up so that way you will always get straight out of bed and you will get more time to drink water and get ready for the day!

    I heard from a nurse that you should drink 1oz water per 2lbs body weight. I have also heard that when you have a serving of caffeine or alcohol, you should also have an extra glass of water. For me, that's about 11 8oz cups of water most days, plus extra if I have tea or alcohol.

    How do people not drink a whole bottle of water in the morning? Aren't you thirsty? Your body goes like 8 hours without water and is usually always dehydrated when you wake up.

    Adding any additives to your water is longer water if you catch my drift? Water in it`s base form has to go through your body, and get purified like water that has something added to it rather than it having to become purified for your body to use.

    There are so many water haters in this comment section😂 I personally love water and drink about 4-7 water bottles (16.9 fl oz) per day. Other than forcing me to pee at school, it’s great! It also helps you reduce your food intake amount.

    I have like 2,5 L a day, which is supposed to be a little more than my recommended amount and I find so much easier to drink from a big bottle of like 1 L instead of smaller portions

    This is what I do everyday.Drink 8 glasses of water only on intermitten fasting without food for 17 to 18hours.No dinner at all.Its a struggle at first but after 3 months of doing it.And I see results.I keep doing it. I lost 4kg by now.Still need to work extra hard on my diet and everyday workout

    i drink mainly just water, maybe a cup of coffee.

    Maybe I should be drinking more than just that, but tbh I feel great. Been doing this for about 9 months, soda on and off but mainly water. It’s kinda boring but I’m not complaining when there is a world water crisis and so many women around the world have to trek miles and miles, daily, every. day. With gallons of water. I just watched your video on it and it’s very inspiring.

    The thing is tho.. your kidneys can only consume 200 ml of water every 15 minutes, so if you drink more - like lets say a full bottle of water in one go, its gonna go straight through your body, and do absolutely nothing. (Which is also why you feel like you have to pee every 15 minutes)

    My doctor told me not to rush down a whole bottle of water at once, as it all just goes to the bladder and doesn’t clean your body. He said that even taking a sip every 30 minutes would do better than gushing a whole bottle down. Just thought I would mention but yes I have a water drinking problem too, it’s not that the water is nasty (sometimes lol I absolutely hate sink water/tap water) but it’s just so plain. I just started adding fruits to mine to see if it’d help (and hopefully it does) because I really do feel unhealthy and disgusting.

    The first time I took a full scoop of creatine, I felt so dry.

    I go to school and drink all 8 cups in 8 hours and by the end of the day I have drank over a gallon. It’s not really a struggle that you need to force yourself, just walk around with water and just drink water whenever. Anyone else don’t feel like this is not really a challenge?

    Actually when they say 8 glasses it doesn’t mean 8 oz as in cups because 1 glass is about 16 oz
