I was born in 1985. So I can say I’m very fortunate to have watched Michael Jordan winning those 6 championships and watching kobe as a rookie till he retired. Man this one hits hard. Rip to the goat. The real goat.

I could relate to all Kimmel has said in this video. It’s an emotional thing to lose a person that has become famous and is looked up to(especially losing not only him but with family and friends). Idols come and go, but God is forever.
My love and respects to all that have lost in these last few days.
But the most important part here is that there all in Heaven..
We should connect to what’s real and what’s correct..
God in Heaven takes and gives life..God knows the reasons why He does what He does...Connect to God and get saved. God wants none to parish but for all to be saved. God is the answer to all and anything,God deserves more from us as children of his

No disrespect to any current or past Laker players, but there will never be no one like Kobe, that the city feels love, respect, and admiration for. He felt like a family member!

This is why Kimmel is the best Late night show host. Also he explained the type of man Kobe was very well. For people who may not understand why it hurts so much to so many people is the timing of his death is the hardest part (for me) to deal with.He had enough money that he could just enjoy his life with with his family but that wasn't enough for him.

He fully stepped away from Basketball but the "Mamba Mentality" in him never went away and everything he did was to be the best. It's hard to say how much the world lost with him dying so young but i wonder if he would have had a greater impact and legacy with his off the court life. I only question that because his NBA career alone would have been hard to top , but he really could have done it.

Sorry it's hard to write this and i'm sure i didn't explain it well. I will only leave this post up for someone that gets what i'm trying to say to put it in better words because i really think it is important.

Also for people asking for more attention for the other 8 people , i cannot nor will not talk about people that i know nothing about. I recently lost my Grandpa and his death will be harder to deal with them any person that's ever lived. I hope that explains why some people may not be talking about them. The communities and loved ones they leave behind will never forget them.

Honestly I never watch Basketball 🏀 but I grew up in California so I heard his name throughout my life. Growing up everyone would throw things into baskets trash cans anything and would shout Kobe. He may not have had much of an impact on my life but I admire what he meant to others. May he Rest In Peace.

This is the most respectable dedication episode to Kobe from a late night host I’ve seen. I absolutely love the way he handled this. Didn’t try to make him perfect. Just shared raw experiences and verbalized how a majority of people felt about him. No ads, no audience. Great job, Jimmy.
My heart goes out to all of the families impacted😢
