Crazy how Lebron ended that streak on a 9 point game against the Raptors in the conf. Semi finals. According to Richard Jefferson he was sick, but Lebron says he didn't feel like he was. He could have easily made it to 1k!

Great video but ... kind of hammered on my former UNLV guy Joel Anthony. At UNLV, the guy was in there for one reason - shot blocking. If he scored garbage points or got rebounds, it was gravy. When he got to the NBA, he was in there for the same exact reason. Still ... 0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0 is bad in any book.

Perfect Finals record is not a surprise though, I mean, a team has 15 players and on multiple champioship team that never lost in the Finals, a lot of the players will be there the next year too. The thing about being perfect in the Finals and MJ is about being the main guy carrying a team and never losing in the Finals, which is a different matter.

You completely fail to mention or are aware that labrons era is really bad overall basketball which is void of defense.
When you have a handful of good players playing against overall pathetic mediocrity , you get inflated numbers .
With numbers / statistical analysis , I can make anything appear amazing .
Context is everything , you leave all of it out

    • Shawn Edwards

      3-6
Not a legendary clutch performer like you claim
Almost as bad as shaq at free throws
Jordans task was to score and dominate defensively.
Lebrons task is to play a well rounded game.
Its simple to see that jordan is better...much better actually.
Lebron left to win chips. Only came back to Cleveland because love was acquired and kyrie blossomed. If lebron would have stayed in Cleveland he would have no championships. Lebron is definitely an all time great. But winning when it counts,he is technically a loser. And LeBron also has been blessed with load management......

    • ethybubs
      ethybubs 10 days ago

biggl48 You're being very inconsistent here, saying that the overall career is more important than the prime in terms of scoring but also claiming that Lebron is a top 20 defender due to really only a good prime as a defender (6 all defensive in 16 seasons).
And you say I'm not recognising Lebron's greatness, saying someone isn't the GOAT is not an insult, Lebron just hasn't reached the level Jordan reached.
Imagine if Kawhi stayed on the raptors, won the championship again next year, the again the next year, then retired dor two years, cam back, won it again the first year back... then again... then again. That's what Jordan did except Jordan had better numbers than Kawhi puts up, and he achieved more in the regular season.
You can claim it's a team accomplishment all you like but you need a superstar to perform at an incredible high level to win one and Jordan did that every year. You just don't understand he was invincible.

    • biggl48
      biggl48 10 days ago

@ethybubs it doesn't matter how long it took. And if Bron was only focused on offense I'm almost afraid to imagine the numbers. But that's a hypothetical.
What you and many do is downgrade Bron's greatness by not recognizing how great 1 has to be to be a top 10 scorer, top 10 in assist and top 10 rebounder. Doing that and being the worse defensive player in history would be acceptable (look at Harden). But Bron has done that and still managed to be a top 20 defender. No other player in history has accomplished anything close. No matter what rewards the league decides to give you or how many ships ya TEAM has won, you can't take away the facts.
Who next to him on the rebound list is next to him in scoring and assist?
Who next to him on the assist list is next to him on scoring or rebounding?

    • ethybubs
      ethybubs 10 days ago

biggl48 How much longer did it take Lebron to catch Jordan in points?
Jordan is the better Offensive player, defensive player, he has won more, and he's more decorated in accolades.
Lebron can go to as many finals as he wants but 3 rings is 3 rings, and don't even think about bringing up clutch play when arguing against Jordan- unanimously the most clutch player ever.
If Lebron wants more rebouns he can have them, Jordan dominates by more without needing them
