Lebron never played a best of 5 playoff series. They've all been best of 7. MJ probably would've scored a few more postseason points if he'd focused more on losing in 7 games than winning in 6. And Lebron's consecutive games in double figures record might've been aided by the fact that he entered the NBA at 18, never retired on 2 separate occasions, and never attempted to play Minor League Baseball.

  • Calvin Delaronde

You sensationalize the amount of money MJ made those years by not telling the entire story. Just cherry picking facts and sharing them out of context doesn't give anyone the whole picture. You fail to mention how many years he was grossly underpaid. Yes a lot to do with his contract, a lot to do with the salary cap, but he had turned the Bulls into the hottest ticket in the NBA and made the owners hundreds of millions. The amount you mentioned him making was the Bulls way of making up for all of those years when they got the GOAT for a bargain basement price.

Jordan is the goat 2 me because
The moment he won a chip he never again ended a full season without a chip
The year he came back with 17 games to go he lost to Orlando and I was the 1st naysayer to he was not in game shape and his timing was off
72 wins later, 3 additional chips and yup I was wrong
U can throw the Wizards years in to try and tarnish him BUT take any cigar smoking, drinking all night gambling 40 year old 2 years removed from the game and put them back on the court @ 39 to 41
Let's be serious what Jordan did was....

I did not like the ending, i even saw it comimg but as impressive as LeBrons streak is I feel like the 350 or so regular season games Michael Jordan didn't play in because he retired should have been mentioned. It's obviously a moot point but I got nothing else going on so ill say if MJ had not retired either time the record would be closer to 1200 games. I don't wanna take away from LeBron's streak because he's great and It's a great accomplishment but it just don't stack up fairly in the context of the JORDAN or JAMES argument and they way you presented as validation of LeBron being better then MJ. Jordan basically missed out on some prime years in not just the first retirement but his second was also way too early considering that hen he came back 3 full seasons later he averaged 25 points 6 rebounds and 4 assists until he hurt his knee and ended his season, he was getting better as the season went ob averaging 27-6-5 in his last 20 games and if you look at his last 10 it was 29-6-6, I just think those numbers prove he would have had no problem getting the 10 a game needed for the streak in the 350 games he was retired for, oh yeah the only sub 10 point game he had for the bulls came when he was coming back from a broken foot nd he had 8 points only played 16 mins.
    I feel better now.

  • Kyemin

That ending is dishonest. You make sound as if Lebron has more scoring games than Jordan and that is false. Lebron owns the 10 or more points per game record. And that's it. Lebron is no where near Jordan in 20 or more, 30 or more, 40 or more and 50 or more. In fact, after 15 ppg records, Lebron dissapears from that list to never show up again. So no doubt, when it comes to scoring 10 points or more, no matter Jordan stopped the record with 41 years old and because of a Doug Collins decision, it's pretty clear that Jordan is way above Lebron in the scoring category.

Dray - he showed loads of somewhat overweight and very temperamental promise after GS drafted him in 2012 (#35 if you can imagine that), but when he filled in full time for an injured David Lee one season later, there was no turning back for everyone involved. GS could very well be on their way to a fifth consecutive championship if his temperament didn't get him ejected during the 2016 Finals, so while his all time #1 W/L stat is incredible, it doesn't surprise me a whole lot.
GS will never let that man go, and visa versa.

That must be regular season Cuz didn’t Lebron not break double digits in the championship vs the mavs ?

    • Vigus DNA
      Vigus DNA Day ago

Brad Warfe I went to figure it out , so that record must be Regular season & not playoffs Cuz he currently has 718-720 game streak if he scored double digits in every game since Lol
Lebron: (scored 8pts in finals vs Mavs)
Games since Starting with 2nd yr in Miami
      11-12Miami: 62reg + 23Playoffs= 85tot
      12-13Miami: 76reg +23Playoffs= 99tot
      13-14Miami: 77reg +20Playoffs= 97Tot
      14-15 Cavs: 69reg + 20playoffs= 89tot
      15-16 Cavs: 76reg + 21Playoffs= 97tot
      16-17 Cavs: 74reg +18 Playoffs= 92tot
      17-18 Cavs: 82reg +22playoffs= 104tot
      18-19 Lakers: 55Reg+Oplay =55Total
==718-720 Games since his streak started total Reg n Playoffs
(in Game 4 Of Mavs finals he had 8 points n they lost in 6 games so Lebron my have 2 more games to add to his current streak of 718 making it 720

    • Vigus DNA
      Vigus DNA Day ago

Brad Warfe yeah i Don’t Doubt it, I’m not sure if he has had that streak since that finals or what but in the Finals vs the Mavs, I know for sure in Game 4 when Miami Lost 83-86, Lebron Scored a Total Of 8 points in that game maybe that was the last time he scored single digits IDK Cuz in game 6 of that series Lebron Scored 21 So I just know Lebron scored single digits in that years finals. I know he gets double digits easily n he will continue that streak especially with how today’s NBA is & how much Lebron dominates the basketball... BUT I just didn’t think Lebron played in that many Games since but he very easily could have, 3 more Years in Miami +4 Years In Cle But he played the full 82 games just once so if u take 100 games per season that would have been 700 Games straight n The the 60ish Games this yr with LA which would be 760

    • Brad Warfe
      Brad Warfe 4 days ago

+Just a guy he would not win more championships with the bulls if you believe that you actually don't watch basketball. His Miami team had more talent than Jordan and pippen team without Dennis rodman. And he only won 2 out of 4 with that team. While Jordan and only pippen made a clean 3 peat. Not even going to game 7. And Jordan retired. Came back and 3 peated again like it was nobody's business. And he did that to the team that drafted him. He didn't cry for rings like LeBron and join a super team he only went back to the Cavs after they acquired talent. He didn't build his dynasty he just joined somebody else's
