The Vindicator is a dark, bitter sweet movie...tragedy. For a little Canadian movie, I think it's 100% cult worthy! Many believe Robocop borrowed from it!
I like Robo Jox as well, old school Saturday matinee!

The stop motion in ROTOR reminds me of my favorite Movie as a kid, "How to Make A Monster". Thinking back, it was such a low budget affair, that just made it funnier. It was meant to be a live action sci-fi horror/monster movie, but the everything`s so cheesy, I thought it was a comedy. Grade A Schlock.

ROTOR is the greatest movie ever made. Notice how they stopped making good movies after ROTOR came out. That's because Hollywood knew that it was all downhill from there, so they stopped trying. ROTOR is perfection. Soon all movies will be ROTOR.
But you glossed over the single best character in the movie. Karate Hostage.
Bu allow me to explain the ending. Remember in the beginning of the movie Coldyron blew up a stump? He was using detcord, which is a real thing. That just isn't how it works.

My best friend and I saw Robot Jox in theater during its original release. We were mocking it throughout. The theater was nearly empty. Near the climactic end the film actually burned in the projector. As we saw the image stop and melt on the screen and realized what was happening we clapped, cheered and laughed in genuine glee! Perfect ending to that film.

the first class of movie (class of 1999) is a really good movie, it did terminator 2 shit before terminator 2 was even made. and im wondering if in ROTOR, the buck tooth chef was the back problems guy and thats why they used the teeth, to disguise him. i mean they do look really similar, in hair color and in the face.

There's actually two different versions of ROTOR that go by two different titles. There is ROTOR then there is the longer version called Blue Steel. The Blue Steel version makes it much clearer that it's supposed to be a satire/comedy. It's got a bunch of cringe inducing comedy scenes with back pain they cut out of rotor. Also robot cop breaks the 4th wall and says the movies plot is horrible and a terminator rip off at one point.
So this was meant to be intentionally funny but someone took the film and cut out a lot of the comedy scenes in an attempt to pass it off as a serious film in the ROTOR version. The Blue Steel version is a bit more tonally consistent when it's obvious that the movie is supposed to be a spoof.
