Hey man I got a idea for you there might be a market for it... pressure washing Concrete tools & Equipment , occasionally concrete finishers have to clean their Power trowels, grease & blade changes, you can find customers in the construction sites all day.... anyhow I respect your hustle and admire your determination. πŸ‘€πŸ‘
.... And from having a business relationship with concrete finishers you can come across more customers that just installed a stamped driveway or are fixing up the home etc...

I have a question. I’m brand new to pressure washing and wanted to know something. Is it better for my machine to keep the trigger pulled when starting? And operating? Or is it easier on the engine to give it breaks? I just want to try to take care of my stuff.

leave it running but get a ball valve so you can restrict flow when you are, say, moving the washer from place to place to hit the whole yard

Hey Justin have you had any experience with using a service that allows you to pay for access to jobs? Similar to paying for leads, but they schedule the jobs as well. Was just wondering if this is a good opportunity or not.

Hey Justin & Other Powerwashing Professionals,
What is the industry standard or cultural norm for method of payment in this industry?
Do residential and commercial clients tend to prefer different payment methods (checks, cash, credit card, PayPal, Crypto, Etc)?
Can you set the terms of how you want the customers to pay you for your services (ie Cashier Checks or Cash only so it’s a guarantedd payment every time and there’s no mumbo jumbo with checks bouncing, payment processing, etc.)

Hi Justin I'm curious how much money you make per year from pressure washing exclusively. I've watched your career from day 1 but don't know exactly how successful you are. I know you have a big following on TheXvid etc but your still a one man show with cheap basic equipment and I'm wondering if after these last few years how well you're actually doing and if your advice is sound. Thanks.

Could good money be made just by doing driveways and patios? Or does washing the house give you more business? I Considered starting up a side hustle for the weekends and days I get rained out at work. I'm more or less afraid of getting on over my head with doing houses.

I put the flyers on the mailbox

Now, I'm not OFFICIALLY starting my business until next season (March in my area). For now, I'm getting experience under my belt.
However, I have years of management experience, and a few years of that was with Marco's Pizza. And what made them unique was they believed in door-to-door flyer handouts, and I'm going to mirror their model.
We were trained to speak with people in the neighborhood at any opportunity, but to never be intrusive. Don't ring or knock during work hours (many people work from home), and never during meal hours.
On top of following that model, I'm going to offer a 2.5% discount on anyone willing to take a survey, which will include how they heard about my company.
The reason for this addition, is that it will offer constructive criticism, reviews, and you'll know where you're marketing and ad dollars are being most utilized.
But hey, it's just me, but it you do try any of this, let me know how it goes.
I wish you the best in your endeavors, my friend.

to get a job is it necessary to have social security? I ask this because there are applications that look for work for you but ask for social security, and I don't have one, and my question is it possible to find work without social security? will your course serve me?

I was wondering one thing, the noise of this stuff ?
when watching all those video it's quiet, there is music or voice.... but in reality this kind of machine is loud a f***
so for you, you wear protection so it's not really bothering you, but what about the customers and their neighbor ? hear this many hours must be hard
I'm worried that if one day I buy a fuel washer and do a job, all the neighbor will see me as the guy who trouble their peace and make a hell of a noise , and so they will never call me for a job...

Ur rite about getn the jobs once ur on the blok. I hav 7 houses on one cul de sac of 15 houses. I landscape them but hav gotten 3 roof washes n 5 house washes. The fanciest house on the blok was my 1st n attracted the rest. 5 of these customers are 3 yr consecutive out of those 7. N to sweeten this whole experience i had hung my index card flyers on these houses in '19 n had not one bite. At that time i was writing individual prices for each house i targeted n was under bidding the prices to get the work. Im actually grateful that no one calld bcuz i got the numbers i wanted in '20. Im no wer near wat i want to b n marketing but the pics of finishd work i post n groups on FB hav helpd tremendously. The work is ther. Word of mouth has been n always will b my go to. My clients r usually customers who dont lik the big name outfits

I know you don’t know this because you never mention it and it’s true 98% of all cities in the US. You have to have a special license and lots of hoops to jump thru to legally door knock. And if you live near the beach like me, YOUR NOT ALLOWED TO LEAVE ANYTHING ON RANDOM PROPERTY. Flyers aren’t allowed. People who talk about flyers and door knocking are dogshit and never actually have done it fully or they wouldn’t recommend it.
