I appreciate that Russel Brand now is able to understand his impulses and has figured out how to control the negative ones, and channel that energy into the positive.
Its clear that joe and russell miss each other with some of each other’s ideas but they also find so much common ground its really nice. I feel like russells world view is just too idealistic for joe to actually consider as a more pragmatic thinker, and near the end russell was many times trying hard to get something across but joe kinda misses it.
I just recently got into oneness. I really enjoyed this podcast. I always do enjoy JRE, but this one is as the kids say a banger.
Russell has found an astoundingly convoluted long way to say "I'm a communist".
Love listening to you two..each in his own search for his "Identity".....each searching on his own path...I came across Krishnamurti early 70's searching for the right education for my son. Was at many intimate meeting with him, parents and students both in Ojai/CA and Hampshire/England schools. From 1st paragraph the hit was as powerful as any substance...life's turbulence has thrown me throughout continents, deepest and highest waves...but nothing has been as powerful as living in the solitude of nature that reveals the state of timelessness as the "Observer being the Observed" which is Meditation without any practice.
how about a podcast with B.o.b. I refer to him as a "conscious rapper"
I’d love to see Liam Gallagher on here
That would be fucking epic.
you guys are really making the world a better place with these podcasts.
I wish somebody as rational as Joe Rogan would run for President
New found respect for Russel . Wow speechless honestly on how he envisions the wow the world should be. Only if it could come to fruition someday would be a much much more enjoyable place
2:49:48 Out of context gold mine.
youtube showed facebook that .
...Aaaaaand if you can make it here you'll make it anywhere - it's up to you Ro Gun, Ro Guunnn...
Fuck now i wanna play bongos
Russell Brand: Says somethingJoe Rogan: I do not understand what you said so I am going to babble
Keanu Reeves please!
Okay the drones are creepy. But everyone realizes how thats going to impact society? Hikers/hunters/outdoorsmen in general can bring a fuckin robotic, solar powered pack animal with them. I almost see that as being a primary market for the technology. And that's fuckin cool. The other side of that is likely fat fucks having a robot gofer in their house. "Hey dick head, get me my Pringles and a CapriSun"
I’d love to hear Russell say the letter “T” just once when he says “daughter”. Just once.. thats all I want lol..
Joan Sprague why not the g and the h as well? Think about it ;)
China monkey experiment= besides country of origin EXACTLY how planet of the apes started.
This is one of the most beautiful conversations I have ever heard. Especially that last 20-30min. I'm working on a book and I definitely wanna use some of what they talk about in this. It really hit me on a human level and that's beautiful. Love these two guys.
Great conversation on tolerating difference and meeting each other half way on moral boundaries. Now if we could only translate this into our modern political environments.
So basically we shouldn't give any sexual identity advice to our children??So tomorrow she's a he and Friday he's a she and we pretend we are being enlightened. So when she wants to have sex with an animal how do you justify stepping in and criticising her or his choice? The answer is the same with either scenarios that we don't give any guidance because physically sex with an animal can be safe and consenting and I use the words loosely. But the point is this is all moral relatively. For example if Joe's guest pulled his penis out just to get some air Joe might be put off uncomfortable etc but he would probably think his feelings are a result of his conditioning. So basically there is no wrong or no right.Joe and this guy are completely a-moral. But then they can't defend such a position philosophically.Because the truth is Joe and this guy HAVE been conditioned.Conditioned in relativity.
I had a full on DMT blast off from Kundalini breathing technique first try
Great Pyranees are great coyote deterrents.
Please interview Dr Michael Greger or another plant based doctor. Challenge your beliefs.
Funny enough Joe , Colour is spelled in America without a 'U' because Newspapers used to charge by the Letter in the early days of America. So publishers had to drop a lot of letters to save money. It then got morphed into the language.
Great Podcast, you should get Woody Harrelson on your Podcast Joe!
2:19 - One of the greatest physicist of all time, Richard Feynman was an extremely accomplished bongo player!
"Relate to the humanity of ur struggle". Two beautiful minds right there!
Rogan needs to get Howard Stern on the show. I think that would be awesome!
Russel Brand is a complete moron !
Keanu Reeves make it happen Joe Rogan
Almost through this pod cast and so far Joe hasn’t said “bring the mic closer “ haha
Why does Joe think every single homeless person is that way because of mental illness? There's such a thing as just being down on your luck and having gone through a number of unfortunate events, whether that be physical ailments or failure to find work, being jailed and having your life ruined, getting fucked over by other people, just countless situations that could lead a person to living on the streets. There's no doubt that a vast chunk or even a majority are mentally ill, but even then to look at them as hopeless cases, or seeing it as some insurmountable task, that's literally ignoring the problem. If we have money to blow up millions overseas, we have the money to look after a few hundred thousand of our own Americans.
These guys ironically have the same barbers tho 👀🤔
second interview vid i see with Russel Brand and man this guy seems to have a good understanding of life
Wow, never used to like Russell Brand too much, this podcast has definitely changed my mind! Very very smart philosophical and quite handsome! You too Joe, of course
Russell brand reminds me of the philosophy students back in university
I can appreciate where they're coming from, but Capitalism is by far the best system currently in place on this planet. Yes its flawed, but far less flawed than any others. It lifted the vast majority of the population, millions of people out of abject poverty. So Jeff Bezos has a lot of money? That's because he created a good/service that we all willingly use and enjoy. How many people does Amazon employ and enable to make a living? - regardless of all that, I absolutely loved this episode. Great job
I really appreciate these two speaking against factory farming.
Shortly after Russell took the "thyroid medication" he really took off, didn't he? Good "thyroid medication", Huh? What do you think, Joe?
It's important to distinguish between nation and government.
Joe Rogan. So grounded. You are an inspiration.
Factory farming - that's why I became vegan...it's disgraceful. I've no problem with people eating meat...providing it's been cared for and had been given the best life possible ❤️❤️❤️
Get Ishmael Butler on this show.
Hi Russell -- Interesting comment on how jujitsu helps men reshape self image around feeling *less than* & being more open to natural vulnerability. What do you think might offer equivalent healing for woman raised in a culture that dictates beauty and body norms so far removed from what mostwomen see in the mirror? Love how you explained jujitsu's role in your healing ❤️️ Thank you!
Three hours and twenty minutes passed in the blink of an eye - loved every minute of it. Thanks guys.
THAT'S THE QUEENS Y
i feel that i have been awakened by this video
although i will add that the information on feminism could use some work. this wave of feminism does not look down upon women who are feminine, but rather celebrate sexual freedom. that being said, there is also a movement to allow women to feel free to push away from patriarchal standards such as keeping their natural body hair (only if they wish to).
I really like this conversation. I agree that understanding and accepting differences in others is the way to be. However, I don't agree that we have to constantly "hang out" with people who are drastically different from us to "expand" ourselves. If we are of a good heart, mind and spirit, that's going to happen regardless. I have learned a lot about others and their ways in my lifetime. It is due time for me to find that man with a similar outlook on life and in love. I won't settle for what is not good or right for me. That's the way life is in your 40s.
This podcast is so underrated. Not many people like Russell because of his past self. I think he’s changed. A very changed man, call it character development. I’d love to have a conversation with these two. You can learn a lot
Tell him russell, go vegan for the win.
We need someone breathtaking on this podcast.
I hope rogan gets taken out in a hunting accident, stupid yankee creep
Christ, rogan is dumb.
Listening to podcasts makes me feel less lonely

Is Russel the Geico Gecko voice?
What a beautiful example lf two people whom disagree on many things having a CIVAL conversation.
Joe Rogan......IMBECILE, IGNORAMOUS, KILLER, WIMP, DELUSIONAL.....wow, a guy on hormone replacement who likes to hunt.......how MANLY! Love Russell Brand, though, great man. Joe should listen.
Russel Brand is a very inspiring man.
TIL Russell Brand is part Shinji Ikari
Excellent discussion and I agree totally with what Russell said about changing our behaviours. 24 years ago I declared very loudly that I know longer wanted to live the way I was. I was utterly sick of my behaviours...I have never ever regretted uttering those words. Today? I really like who I am, I love the way others respond to me. I love that I'm able to respect and honour all family and friends all life forms in fact...my Life is GOOD...it's VERY GOOD Thank you guys for your healthy attitudes ❤️❤️❤️❤️
"You sound like you're from LoDONE MATE!" -Homeboy from Forgetting Sarah Marshall.
