  • goo.gl/JhsfPP A species-specific aquarium is a great way to expand your fish collection and is surprisingly affordable. Simple equipment like canister filters, low output lighting and small tanks are often all you need to make the perfect home. It also gives you the opportunity to keep and collect some of the most unique and captivating animals found in our oceans. In this Marine Depot video installment, we set up a species-specific aquarium for a Painted Frogfish. You'll also get to see it "fish" using its rod and lure to catch prey!

@mitian Thanks for the compliments! The light used in the video is one of the Lifegard LED lights. They have three models depending on the output you need. I linked all three of them below for you to browse. Let us know if you have more questions.

What is the brand and model aquarium for the "slanted bow front" tank that is used for the seahorse and pipefish tank? (first shown at :43 in the video). Thanks!

At around 2:26, there seems to be another fish in there too? Is that fish gonna be ok?

@Haig James Toutikian Well, we are keeping our fingers crossed and have been feeding the Frogfish heavily. The Frogfish is still a little small and the owner of the Frogfish, Joseph, has plans to move him into a larger tank when he gets a little larger and accustomed to aquarium life.
