One of the most awkward memories I have is from when I was around 13 and me and my family visited vegas from outside the country. We were walking around all day and were hungry so we just popped into the first restaurant we could find. Turns out it was one of those places where hot waitresses insulted you while you ate. And there we were, 13 yo me, my 6 yo sister and my parents eating burgers while waitresses yelled obscenities at drunk guys around us. The waitresses were super sweet to us but looking back they were probably thinking why would our parents bring us into this place😂
the staff are hilarious. they're not actually mean to EVERYONE, but they love their job and you can tell they enjoy the banter. it's entertaining for everyone.
@Blizzard They’re not getting paid to be mean, they’re getting paid to do their job; I guess the selling point for new hires is that they have the “freedom” to let out their frustrations in any way they see fit, that doesn’t put the business in trouble, or ends with someone going to jail.
Its good theyre not mean to everyone. Like if youre a nice customer who is there for food and not necessarily to get something yeetes at your head, its be good if they were nice back.
This looks like a great job instead of having to release all the anger on the day you quit you just do it every day! And you get good reviews and good pay for it!
I think the same can just be said about Illinois altogether. I used to live in Rockford, and it was pretty much an unspoken law that if you went into any fast food joint and went to the register without your order and form of payment ready, they would immediately send you to the back of the line. And this is just an example.
Btw for those wondering if you ask for a "chocolate milkshake" the lady will unbutton her shirt and well, shake her milk 😂, it's all in good fun though
@Rogue bro I look over this and didn't think anything of but sooooo🤣 many people replied to you that i had to say something and I feel the same way as you my man but shiii 20$ I'll give it as a tip lmao
This reminds me of a restaurant in Boston that unfortunately closed. They would roast you and tell you off. Great experience. Maybe I’ll see the place in the video some day!
For some reason I wanna work there so much like what's their requirements. "How often do you have unprovoked moments of violence and aggression" "Yes" "Your hired 🤝"
As a small town Texan this concept is so foreign to me it's almost alien. That might not make sense if you're not from Texas, but the friendship and hospitality shown to patrons of restaurants all over the state, and especially in rural areas is usually above and beyond what's expected in most other places.
"this restaurant actually hates you..." This one only? I doubt it, I work in customer service and I automatically hate anyone who walks in and makes me work
Imagine stumbling upon this place not knowing what it actually is. I think I would just stand there and start crying. I do not deal well with yelling haha
"The women working here doled out some sassy banter, as expected based on other reviews. Made you feel like a local, long-time customer. They’re open until 4 or 5 a.m. so you don’t have to worry about getting there too late." - Someone on Google reviews
It's not abusive, it's Chicago. I can't tell you how many times I've been in there. Honestly, It goes both ways. I remember I was having a fight with my gf over text and the lady there gave me a bunch of shit. I flipped her off and she laughed her ass off. It's all in good fun. And if you don't wanna get treated like an adult you shouldn't be in Chicago let alone the weiner circle
In Australia we have a similar place called "Karen's Diner" I think its in either Sydney or Melbourne, the whole selling point is that the workers are mean to everyone
I love how they are actually okay with the horrible customer service. Like you come into any other restaurant and you'll see a Karen yelling at a waitress because the waitress told her that they don't have a milkshake available.
I’d come over there, no knowing, with my phone out. They’d insult me, and I’d type something on my phone, and id play the sound, “we do not care.” Then I’d just watch them insult me even more. Perfect night. 🤩
I live in Chicago and my dad took us to Wiener Circle all the time as a kid. The employees also hate each other, not just the customers, and you can often hear them loudly arguing in the back. Best hot dogs I’ve ever had in my life. They also have really good, greasy fries that you can get, covered with cheddar cheese sauce. I stand by the fact that Wiener Circle is an experience all on its own lol
@Amari Lewis Don't waste your time reading their comment. Because I already wasted mine and I got nothing good out of it except confusion and irritation. They're just really man is all.
I can only imagine someone's reaction if they didn't know they were supposed to be treated like garbage and it was their first time there 🤣 Edit: This is the first comment that has got a thousand likes for me. Thank you all!!!
Even funnier is that person being confused at the injustice of everyone cheering that employee on who randomly berated them. "What the..? Why are they on _her_ side? SHE called ME names just bc I ordered food. People suck now."
The service is normal on weekdays, and the employees are really nice. It's the weekend, especially at night that shit gets wild. Also, the chocalate shake thing is overrated.
@Prince Raghav Vashishth so far in my life it's been working. Been graduated for 2 years now and every oppositional person I just let roll off my back and have never been happier :)
@Gale Gregorny You make me remember about my younger self when I used to think that the world out there is not a big deal, I'll just be nice to everyone without hurting or offending anyone or making any enemies full of personal grudges & everyone will like me back for being such a good boy, it's that simple, right?
There is a guy who enters this place and dsnt know the theme of the restaurant and starts to go off and a female police comes and starts going off on her
Or if you really want a show walk in at 10:00 give them a $50 and say "hi I'm vegan (or vegetarian) what can I get with this?" Best bet is that'll piss them off way more 🤣🤣
There's actually a restaurant in Rome called "La parolaccia" (literally: the swear word) where waiters will insult you in the most creative ways. Obviously it is all for good fun and it is a very popular touristic attraction
_”The customer service was awful, the food was thrown at me, and the employees are disrespectful. I love it, 10/10”_

@Kadoink let people be babies!
why are you speaking the truth
@Kadoink "it didn't happen to me, so it can't happen to anyone else!" - you see how stupid this argument is? You're not the main character lmao
Same
@Kadoink Ahh, it's because it was YOUR experience, many of us are situated differently and don't always go through the same thing
the staff are hilarious. they're not actually mean to EVERYONE, but they love their job and you can tell they enjoy the banter. it's entertaining for everyone.
@Blizzard They’re not getting paid to be mean, they’re getting paid to do their job; I guess the selling point for new hires is that they have the “freedom” to let out their frustrations in any way they see fit, that doesn’t put the business in trouble, or ends with someone going to jail.
@Red Tiger yeah
Its good theyre not mean to everyone. Like if youre a nice customer who is there for food and not necessarily to get something yeetes at your head, its be good if they were nice back.
@Blizzard well better than putting up fake smiles every day
@Cee Jay they don’t have milkshakes
I go to this place probably once a week. Food is amazing and the staff is great. Gotta give then the sass back haha
@VrLegoVemon stop lying
Ya what’s the chocolate milk shake
Same
@VrLegoVemon I’ll sue them cause it’s too tasty :))
"They LOVE the abuse !"
_"Some people might think me as some kind of M A S O C H I S T"_

“Does this make me a furry?”
“….”
“Pass”
This sounds like the only fast food restaurant I would ever consider working for, only wish more businesses adopted this practice.
well i mean every staff prob does hate you lol
This is the 100th time I’ve seen a comment by you
Bro, you are everywhere.
Imagine some guy wanted an actual chocolate milkshake and didn’t have any change so he gave her a 20, RIP.
With the prices in Chicago the milkshake is probably 5-6 dollars just shut up and make the change from Chicago never heard of this place 😒
@Afdal Ridwan bro had 3 months to fix becoming
@Videre Vero what
@Pock Pock TF 💀🤔
A
Wtf is wrong with people when you go somewhere, to pay, for abuse?
Geez, just get married, you get the abuse and cost but never have to leave home.
Me: Hands the waitress a 20.
The waitress: "it'll be a little longer than usual honey dear. Been cooking up a steamy one"
Btw for those wondering if you ask for a "chocolate milkshake" the lady will unbutton her shirt and well, shake her milk 😂, it's all in good fun though
I thought the chocolate milkshake was something way worse .
This actually sounds alright
Thank you and OMG
@Rogue bro I look over this and didn't think anything of but sooooo🤣 many people replied to you that i had to say something and I feel the same way as you my man but shiii 20$ I'll give it as a tip lmao
@new york pfp 🤨 📸
"They love the abuse"
Moms and dads: perfect
This reminds me of a restaurant in Boston that unfortunately closed. They would roast you and tell you off. Great experience. Maybe I’ll see the place in the video some day!
“At the Wiener Circle in Chicago”
Me: Now sir, what is really a “wiener circle”?
need that chocolate milkshake
Gotta pay up that $20 to find out 😂
@DerpyX888 This just turned uncanny 💀
Finally i found a job perfect for my
sister and brother:)
The customers are such a masochist i love it
"The employees at this hot dog stand actually hate you"
So do the employees at every other restaurant, they just arent allowed to show it
they probably hate me the most, since I don't eat out.
Pffft American food service lmao,good thing I don't live there lol.
@Lord Kars you're so edgy and cool brah
@Luis Lopez No they don't. Corporate does, individuals can get bent.
Imagine you having a bad day and just want a hot dog
For some reason I wanna work there so much like what's their requirements.
"How often do you have unprovoked moments of violence and aggression"
"Yes"
"Your hired 🤝"
This sounds like so much fun???? Imagine being a beloved institution of your city for the absolute worst customer service
As a small town Texan this concept is so foreign to me it's almost alien. That might not make sense if you're not from Texas, but the friendship and hospitality shown to patrons of restaurants all over the state, and especially in rural areas is usually above and beyond what's expected in most other places.
I used to be a regular there, they aren't mean to everyone, but they are to the folks who look like they'll enjoy it ( so basically everyone )
@PUNANI_SLAYER420 exactly I had no clue because I work for a living and stumbled on this accidentally
@Lets go brandon wtf does blm has to do with a hotdog stand...
@Pillsbury dope boy 💀
@Lets go brandon you got a creative mind kid keep dreaming
Anyone else dying to know what a “Chocolate milkshake” at that place is? Lmao 🤣
Naw, it looks like she takes a number 2 in the cup
After looking through some comments. I can confirm she takes her shirt and bra and shows her "cherries"
I would actually love to be in an argument with them
"this restaurant actually hates you..."
This one only? I doubt it, I work in customer service and I automatically hate anyone who walks in and makes me work
Wow, paying for emotional and physical abuse. Sounds like a wonderful place to buy food
Imagine stumbling upon this place not knowing what it actually is. I think I would just stand there and start crying. I do not deal well with yelling haha
"The women working here doled out some sassy banter, as expected based on other reviews. Made you feel like a local, long-time customer. They’re open until 4 or 5 a.m. so you don’t have to worry about getting there too late."
- Someone on Google reviews
I paid $20 for the “chocolate milkshake” once.
FYI: It was not worth it.
Here at the Wiener Circle, the drunks love the abusive behavior our employees provide.
"They love the abuse"
They actually have an untouched degradation kink
BYE YOURE NOT WRONG 😭
I was gonna say~
what I would give to be able to talk back to some customers 😩
POV: You're here to see what happens when you give the lady the $20...
It's not abusive, it's Chicago. I can't tell you how many times I've been in there. Honestly, It goes both ways. I remember I was having a fight with my gf over text and the lady there gave me a bunch of shit. I flipped her off and she laughed her ass off. It's all in good fun. I live in chicago and I have been there. I can confirm, they are mean to customers.
“Give her 20 dollars and ask for a chocolate milkshake, can’t say what’s next”
Why can’t you- *Oh..*
@Abstraxx-lol Last Name thats not what i was thinking
@Jhesreel Yamat PH oooh, I do like… wait what’s a food that’s white and sticky????
@kior they will taking a dump in it
Yoo…can they actually do that?!?
I think we all know what chocolate milkshake means 💀💀
For any of you wondering what the “chocalate milkshake” is…
Well she shakes her chocalate milkshakes at you ;)
I live in Chicago, I have been there and it’s 100% percent true. My friends parents don’t let him go anymore
I’d be perfect at that job… 😂
“Give the lady a 20 dollar tip and ask for a milkshake” sounds like you’re asking for a hand job in the back of the restaurant
@An asexual dragon with internet access what did he say his comment was deleted
It probably is. Something to do with racial sexualization which would rightfully piss off someone.
@Jackie chan_WTF yoooooo whaaat theee fuuuck did you just say
@JayDR I need that👀
Haha no way I lived down the street from here for 3 years, had NO CLUE when I went there the first time. Talk about a rude awakening
A restaurant for masochist. What else can the world freaking offer 😭😂😂
Dude imagine being a student not only you can release stress you can make money while doing it
a job where you can finally fight back customers
"I'm not a masochist" -Markiplier as he chows down on a hotdog from this place
No Mark definitely is a Masochist in denial that was pretty much confirmed by Ethan in that one video of Unus Annus.
@PoPPin0ff YT Excuse me?
@The Official Hatty Hattington I thought no one played castle crashers anymore
Your helmet is cool
@ProphecybyDefault It was not my fault, it was the hat!
I would like to see Karen try to ask for the manager there.. 😂
It’s soooooo good, when I went there they were nice. If you visit or live in Chicago go to this place. It was the best hot dog I have ever had. 10/10!
“This is NOT one of those places”. It’s exactly one of those places. It’s a gimmick, not authentic anger lol.
@3DMATT I agree they definitely go a league above any other "rude" restaurant
its for show but they're actually mean at the same time. ive watched videos where they point out specific qualities about people and disabilities
He did it for views
Exactly they couldn’t get away with it otherwise
His mind amazes me 😝
What if someone is genuinely just want to eat there and they are the sweetest person you'll have ever meet will they still be rude?
imagine entering the store without knowing.
“What happens next, I can’t say”
Oh my
She keeps it
My buddy needs to work here, he’d be the employee of the month year long hahahah
“The customer service was horrible, the workers were nice to me and didn’t throw anything.”
@Matthew M I'm suing them for that.
@Matthew M 0/10
I went during the middle of the day expecting a bombardment of insults. The woman ended the interaction with God bless you
I’d come over there, no knowing, with my phone out. They’d insult me, and I’d type something on my phone, and id play the sound, “we do not care.” Then I’d just watch them insult me even more. Perfect night. 🤩
Wow, I just love and would give my life twice over for my patients.
The clip of Carl yelling 🤣
Was gonna say, this is also similar to Ed Debevics restaurant as well. The wait staff will be a variety of different personal to make snarky remarks
Employees arguing in the back of the restaurant is completely standard
@Sarah Nelson it ain’t that deep
@Amari Lewis Don't waste your time reading their comment. Because I already wasted mine and I got nothing good out of it except confusion and irritation. They're just really man is all.
@Sarah Nelson dawg what
@Antagonistic Alex I was so confused at what you were talking about then I expanded their comment and was like whoa what's a lot to read.
It s the only short that made me laugh so hard chocolate milk shake OMGGGGG 🤣🤣🤣🤣
If y’all are wondering what happens if you give the employee $20 and say “chocolate shake” they’ll flash you!!
I wanna try the food but I would start crying if they started yelling at me, I get that customer service is hard but why
The fact that was my younger self favorite place to eat (I was like 6-8 😂)
I can only imagine someone's reaction if they didn't know they were supposed to be treated like garbage and it was their first time there 🤣
Edit: This is the first comment that has got a thousand likes for me. Thank you all!!!
I took my cousin there for food, he had no idea and I just sat back and watched the horror on his face. He was dumbstruck
Even funnier is that person being confused at the injustice of everyone cheering that employee on who randomly berated them.
"What the..? Why are they on _her_ side? SHE called ME names just bc I ordered food. People suck now."
I'd love to see them vs a wild Karen who just wandered by.
That’s where David dobrik went and Jonah got called a wisdom tooth😂
The service is normal on weekdays, and the employees are really nice. It's the weekend, especially at night that shit gets wild. Also, the chocalate shake thing is overrated.
Wait till customers find out that a whole hell of a lot of hospitality workers hate them
I just wanna go there and act really nice and see what happens
Me: * orders the simplest thing on the menue and even tips *
The waitress: *and I took that, personally.*
That could be a challenge try to make the waiters be nice to you
@Prince Raghav Vashishth so far in my life it's been working. Been graduated for 2 years now and every oppositional person I just let roll off my back and have never been happier :)
@Gale Gregorny
You make me remember about my younger self when I used to think that the world out there is not a big deal, I'll just be nice to everyone without hurting or offending anyone or making any enemies full of personal grudges & everyone will like me back for being such a good boy, it's that simple, right?
My goal would be to be as pleasant as possible and get them to like me
We can only imagine what a chocolate shake is lmao
"can we go to the place where they yell at us for trying to get food as calm as possible"
But I bet they love their job. 😂
"Give the lady at the counter $20 and ask for a chocolate milkshake and see what happens next." Bruh. . . Lmao 🤣
“These Hipsters think us being mean to them is authentic.”
-Kevin Ball from shamless
I like this.
Lol i was thinking the same thing
"as long as they pay 12$ per cup of coffee they can be here" v 🤣
Kevin was hilarious 😂
There is a similar place in Italy it's called "la parolaccia" the employers literally insult you when you enter and when you exit
“They love the abuse”
Uhmmm ok Ima just leave it like that😳
I can imagine one dude coming down here and taking pops because the employees are being abusive.
“ if you spelled apple sauce with a b you could call it bapple sauce” for those of you who know you know
the “wiener circle incident” is one of the funniest exchanges i have ever witnessed
If anyone got a link please post in the comments
There is a guy who enters this place and dsnt know the theme of the restaurant and starts to go off and a female police comes and starts going off on her
?
What
Hah
imagine some poor soul that didn't know this culture of the restaurant
“Can you eat poosey like that?!?!“ ISTG THATS THE LADY WHO SAID THAT
I LOVE GOING THERE ITS HILARIOUS
I’ve been multiple times and they’ve never been mean to me 🤷♂️
STOP👏MAKING 👏THIS👏DIRTY 👏 SHE JUST DUMPS IT ON YOUR HEAD!
This is the customer service job I need
"This is not one of those places." Literally yes it is
Must be mentally draining to work there. Constantly in a state of anger even if it's pretend
"The entire staff hates you"
Normal people: Who would go here?
Masochists: *heavy breathing*
**you hear credit card slamming in the back ground like sweet sweet music**
@Hi I'm Gib yep she def is
@DIOGaming34 Darkness definitely a regular customer there
Hey you know the show called konosuba? Cus im gonna make a konosuba joke
Or if you really want a show walk in at 10:00 give them a $50 and say "hi I'm vegan (or vegetarian) what can I get with this?"
Best bet is that'll piss them off way more 🤣🤣
Imagine what happens when a Karen comes in
I swear, I'm going to take a trip to Chicago, forget I watched this video, go to this stand and end up knocking out whoever is at the register
Imagine a 99 year old veteran walks up and the worker says "hey a$# hole"💀
There's actually a restaurant in Rome called "La parolaccia" (literally: the swear word) where waiters will insult you in the most creative ways. Obviously it is all for good fun and it is a very popular touristic attraction
Please where is this gem
Lmao I'd go there 🤣
That sounds pretty cool
"They love the abuse"
Sound like a kink don't you think?🤨
