Hearing about the colors and all that stuff seems fun,,, BUT I had the iPhone XS and I couldn’t get reception near as well as my six. How is the reception on the 11 pro??That’s what I need to know are they still using QUALCOMM or Intel. Unfortunately I’m not always home by my Wi-Fi nor an area close by a tower...

A decent review, despite not being as "hands on" as title suggests. I'm trialing the iPhone for the first time ever in my life. I do wish it had usb type C but not a deal breaker. I may, or many not, switch back but looking forward to the iPhone 11 pro. There's a lot of butt hurt from android users but there is a lot under the hood of the 11 pro. I'll strive to remain open to both sides of the fence...unlike many.

“...This Changes Everything” is misleading. I don’t see it...what changes everything? I’m totally invested in the Apple ecosystem and love my products. But these new features are already present on other phones or are just iterative at best. Just don’t see what feature justifies that video title.

Hi, I am confused about which iPhone should I buy according to the price. Currently, the price of iPhone XR 128GB is $649 meanwhile the price of iPhone 11 128GB is $749. But, the thing is that I have a very limited budget. So, the actual question is that "Should I compromise with the storage capacity of an iPhone in order to buy the latest iPhone 11 64GB instead of iPhone XR 128GB?” because the price difference margin between 128GB iPhone XR and 64GB iPhone XR is much lesser than the price difference between 128GB iPhone XR and 128GB iPhone 11. I would need to pay $100 more in order to buy iPhone 11 128GB and if I buy the iPhone 11 64GB, I would need to pay $50 more to buy the iPhone 11 64GB. Also, my second question is that is it right that the iPhone with 64GB is too less storage for a person who would use the iPhone for around 4 - 5 years?

I want to wait for the 2020 iPhones, but knowing Apple's design cycled, they'll release the 11 Pro S instead of the 12 next year.

A tiny speaker facing you and a slightly bigger speaker facing away from you. I wouldn't blame their marketing for hyping it up as "spatial audio", but can you at least keep it real and dial down on the hype?

Based on Apple’s legal issues with Qualcomm this year, and their acquisition of Intel’s modem business, those two situations are the key reason why there’s no 5G 👌

    • Ragnarok
      Ragnarok 28 days ago

Rashid Temuri Your iPhone X is going to continue to depreciate throughout next year and will yield even less trade in value by the time the 12 rolls around. You can still get decent value out of it now if you trade it in and get the 11 and when the 12 rolls around trade the 11 for the 12 and you’ll get the phone cheaper that way. I’m trading in my X next weekend for the 11 pro

I'm still waiting for the 2020 iPhone models. Why? Because there are good chances that the 2020 iPhone will 1) have a new form factor with possibly smaller Face ID sensors, 2) switch from Lightning to USB Type C I/O connector (possibly with full USB 4.0 implementation), and 3) use Qualcomm's newest radio modem to support the 3GPP NR 5G connectivity standard and possibly even WiFi 7 (802.11be).

Question regarding U1 chip Did Apple limit it only to Pro phones for iPhone 11? It looks so, but it does not make much sense to me. U1 chip will only work if there will be a large number of devices supporting it. With iPhone 11 nonPro probably outselling all Pro models 3 to 1, this means that Apple would not be able to build large enough community of compatible devices when it finally releases Tag or whatever they are gonna call it. Because let's face it, releasing U1 chip just to pinpoint File airdrop target is not why they designed U1.
And why are you not calling out Apple for not upgrading storage amount, at least on Pro versions. With new ability to shoot 4 video streams simultaneously, how long to you guess 64GB default storage gonna last? How do you call a Phone Pro in 2019 and release it with only 64GB of storage to begin with? Is that Pro conduct for Apple?

Rene how heavy where those phones. I was considering the iPhone 11 pro max. Not sure about the weight though. Come to think of it looks like the iPhone 11 pro seems heavier than XS Max. Part of me loves that large screen and part of me loves portability of the smaller pro model. Ahh decisions!!

The same damn notch, no 128g, 64g for $1100 ?!? and several other reasons why i'm skipping this year. Love the camera, but you look at the screen more than you use the camera and tired of the 3 year old design now. Pathetic. I switched to the Note 10+ and haven't looked back since!!!!!! Now, THAT'S innovation!!

I just think phones are getting a rip off. Prices going up when it’s cheaper to make then it was years ago. They are just little upgrades. I mean look what most people use there phones for. Just get a second hand iPhone X 256gb. It’s still fast and great in all ways oh and it’s got the same oled screen and Face ID. It’s all just a rip-off now.
