I think the ruby has a very interesting mechanism. It also looks really nice!

@Puzzle guy No. I've not actually solved many non-twisty puzzles to be honest. I like them but haven't tried many. I know what goes into designing those, so I have high respect for CoreMods and his designs...

This one isn't so confusing. Have you tried Unstable eggs by CoreMods? 😁

Nicely done, but I think I have once again underestimated you. Maybe one of the other gems will give you a bit more trouble; I'd love to see you try them in the future.

I don't have much time to solve all of them now. Diamond and Pearl are solved. Amethyst looks like the most difficult of them, I tried to solve it for 5-10 minutes but no luck yet.
I'll do a video in January 2022. Thanks for amazing puzzles!

Interesting puzzle and nice solve PG! So when the ball drops down into the, let's say lower chamber, it attaches to the magnet and fills the gap so that when you push & turn the top piece it also turns the locking mechanism. Anyway, that's how I think it works? 🤔🤔👍👍

@Puzzle guy This is exactly correct.

The ball just drops down. There are no magnets in the lower chamber. But there are small dents in the lock and the bottom piece. When the ball is trapped in the dents between two pieces you can unlock the lock. I guess the magnet holds the locking mechanism from accidental opening.
