This week see's Lou go off on yet another one of here solo female van life adventures, this time, with a very specific goal in mind!
After spending 3 months out travelling in Europe there's not been much time for one of her biggest passions, wildlife photography! So this week, she packs up her camera gear and heads to the Norfolk coast, specifically Horsey gap and Blakeney point, she's in in search of grey seals.
It's the perfect time of year with the breading season still going but I think even she got a little bit of a shock at what she found.
A big part of doing a van build in the first place was so we could get out and surround ourselves in nature, the pull of European travel has been strong though and Lou talks a little in this video about losing faith in what the UK has to offer, check out this weeks winter van life UK vlog to see how she gets on... before the van build overhaul begins as we look to upgrade our DIY van conversion for some serious winter van life adventures!
Hopefully you are enjoying this travel series as much as we are and we are managing to show you just some of the stunning landscapes that England has to offer in this UK travel vlog.
As usual, we have tried to include a bit of everything, some cinematic scenery, wildlife photography magic, and some female van life foolery, we always love hearing what you lot think in the comments so do let us know, and as always, thank you for watching!
Follow us on our journey as we attempt to create a proper youtube travel series as we, two female travelers and vanlifers, attempt to travel across Europe in our rolling tiny home.
Hit the subscribe button to see where our DIY campervan takes us next and how this van life couple copes living in a van!
Check out our instagram for real time updates..
Have a look at emily's blog for her thoughts on all things van..
(this is also where you will find all our park ups and list of our film making gear)

I live in Norfolk and only half an hour drive away from where the seals are. We went on NYD to see them and it was packed with people. Saw so many gorgeous babies. Sadly saw a few that had died. The ranger I spoke to said a lot were stillborn. The rangers are great and really informative and they are all volunteers. I also went on my birthday (3rd January) and the pups were still there. Some had not long been born.. It's a very special place... Thank you for showing everyone the beauty of the Norfolk coastline.. I'm so lucky to live nearby..

That was just superb Louise. More of this please. We are too often, in East Anglia, shown disturbing news coverage of visitors to those beaches approaching these pups in spite of being asked to keep a distance. Content offering a balanced and non demanding, non confrontational advice point such as the one’s you covered, and in the way you did it, will go a long way to improve things even more for our wild animals and wild places. Do that more please.Who knows? Maybe landowners would be prepared to open up more places if those places were treated with a little more respect. Taking rubbish home……It’s not a big ask is it?

We signed up for a boat trip to Blakeney Point and saw the seals when they were pregnant. While they were on the beach, their bumps were pushed around to their backs.
Well done for setting a good example and keeping your distance and not forcing yourself on them - no matter how tempting those gorgeous little pups are.
