It was copyright claimed by one of the authors of the stories that they featured. They have since apologized on their Twitter for using the stories without proper credit and are resolving the issue with the two authors privately.

The reddit podcasts were DMCAed and taken down
For all of those wondering what happened to their spooky podcasts, they were either removed or copywriter stricken (the answer as to which is unclear). They talked about it on their twitter account, but essentially they did not realize that all r/nosleep stories belong to their owners (these are not always random people just posting to reddit, they are talented writers and authors who are entitled to protect their work/property) and that they are explicitly not allowed to repost, narrate, translate, etc without the owners permission, and they did not have permission to read them. I’m not sure why Spotify deleted all of their podcasts but I’m sure it stems from this. They are working on it behind the scenes to resolve any issues with any artists who were hurt by their mistake.
For those wondering, latest podcast got copyright claimed by the author of one of the stories, claiming they didn't give her proper credit by not saying her name (even though there was just an username, and the story is posted on a public forum accessible for anyone on the internet to read. yeah idk either) so Jenna & Julien decided to delete the previous one too to avoid any more trouble. It's a shame this happened, these were some of my favorite kind of episodes. We'll probably won't get more like these in a while. Hopefully I'm wrong.
Also I see people saying the podcast has been deleted from spotify. Idk why that's happening, maybe there's a bug bc the two latest eps got deleted but I'm not sure
Edit: *I stand corrected* - the r/nosleep sidebar very explicitly states that sharing any work of fiction from the subreddit without permission could result in a DMCA strike made by the author. J&J have apologized profusely about this on twitter (@jennajulien) and are in contact w/ the authors to rectify the issue. They've also said the thing w/ Spotify is a separate issue and are looking into it.
What we could do for these kind of eps to not disappear completely is share our paranormal experiences for them to read, or send them creepy stuff from around the internet! There's subreddits entirely dedicated to those kinda stories, they have no copyright bc for all we know they're not a work of fiction

Everyone commenting about the scary story podcasts: check their @/jennajulien twitter for updates. But TL;DR, it's a copyright issue and they felt guilty. The Spotify issue is a totally separate issue they are also looking into.

The spooky story podcast isn’t on TheXvid anymore and their podcast isn’t on Spotify but I found it on SoundCloud still.. weird
I usually listen to this on spotify but I can't find it and when I press the link in the description spotify just has an error message appear on the screen :( Is it just me or has something happened? X

This is for podcast #250 but I couldn’t find it on TheXvid so I’m just putting this here. I’m not an expert on the history of pikes peak (Tava is the word Natives to the region gave it) but I live in the area rn and you hear things.
Quick list of some of the paranormal rumors/facts I’ve heard both from locals and even some of my professors.
1) Manitou springs at the base of the Barr trail that goes up piles peak has the highest density of modern day wickens 2) Manitou is a Native American term that is associated with magic/spirits 3) the San Luis valley in southern CO is thought to potentially be where the Dine (Navajo) peoples believe the world began 4) Crestone CO is in the eastern side of this valley and is basically a Mecca for many Buddhist, Muslim, and many other religions. (It’s way more complex but this is a brief summary) 5) on the stairs I was taking an outdoor rescue course and was warned my by wilderness EMT instructor not to go up any random stairs you see in the wilderness.
NOT claiming to be an expert in any way, just that this region is really interesting and there are a lot of dimensions to it
