In a heavy downpour that pipe may not be enough. A second one a few feet away, might have been better. But what do I know?

Andrews voice cracking on "Levi and I are out heRe today..." reminds me of a guy in high school named George. He used to do it all the time. Andrew already appears ageless at around 34, but that voice cracking gives the impression that he is much younger. I am 64, so I could use some voice cracking myself, but I have trouble just pushing words out. LOL. Below, some have also noticed the cracking and that Levi did not waste any time getting all muddy. They even thought that it was sly how Levi looked back at the camera as if to say, "So what. I got muddy. Big deal." This is my current favorite Andrew video. It show how he actually solves a drainage problem by REMOVING a pipe, rather than selling and installing another, as those only thinking of profit would do. Now, one less pipe does the work of what two use to do. I know that I have watched this one at least 7 times, since I found it.

Hey Andrew -- I have a question: With all the tree removal, brush removal and so forth, why don't you use like one of the big chipper / shredders? It seems it might help get rid of some of the brush, small trees, etc without having to haul them away and / or burn them. Just a thought, Sir. Thanks!

I'm critical of your container castle, but after seeing your job, I can trust you so much more now. I guess alot of spiral staircases and metal buildings I've seen are over-engineered and are made for "massive" amounts of visitors.

Psrat of the problem - in my observation, at least - is that a lot of people think they can move into the woods, bulldoze a trail to the road, couple loads of gravel and presto! Driveway! Forest floor is very, very soft; when my folks moved into a wooded area, they had to sink 2" rock into that driveway for YEARS before it stabilized.

not bad not bad.But the drainage problem is because you dont use a road roller.and not build with the road in the same time, the trench at both sides.the gravel has to be higly compacted.minimum 1T mass .else in the years you will get roadholes and lanes that catch the water again.for a good road, you need a minimum of 11,8 inch gravel from the ground.and a road roller without vibrations function for this.Iam from germany and building roads since 18 years.Thats with the Drainpipes is a good idea.but no gravel on it you need a layer of sand on top.else it could be damaged or destroyed.every pipe must be under a layer of sand.I would use Asphalt for the driveway too. Most important for roadworks is,that you compress it.

Hey Andrew, I have a question. I have a piece of property thats about 80ft wide and 160ft deep. Front is about a foot higher near the road, and slopes back gently. During bad rainstorms, the land floods. There's a creek two lots back behind mine, so the water wants to go to the creek. Do you think a dry creek crossing the front and going down the side , and grade it to the trench would be a decent solution?
