I should get one of this brownie things for my dad, because he just loves those really cheap packed brownies that don't seem like they were baked at all. Every time that my uncle goes to the USA my dad asks him for packs of that stuff, so he would just love that brownie maker

American here, I've never seen a canned hot dog in my life, usually the ones I've seen come in airtight plastic packaging and they're definitely not ever in a brine.
Edit: I've just remembered about Vienna Sausages but those are pretty gross and I'd never buy them.

in the uk pigs in blankets are sausages wrapped in bacon and thats more like a mini toad in the hole within the video, our sausages are different within the uk and they're not processed but made from proper pork and bread crumb but occastionally you can get them in chicken and turkey.

I wonder if the brownies didn’t taste/cook right cause you didn’t halve the oil? I’m sure the recipe didn’t call for 6tbs of oil for the whole box.. so shouldn’t you have halved everything else like you did the powder mix?

Lettuce turns reddish brown, or rust colored, where ever a knife with iron in it, like steel, touches the lettuce. Turns out the iron leaves trace elements of itself, which then rusts.

That compassionate reminder always makes my day and I love your idea to make gadgets that actually help people and are well made! Built up handle silverware is really underrated and hard too find when hot ordering from medical supply companies. In home hydroponic and aeroponic gardening or my favorite aquaponic (meaning growing fish and plants together) sell for a lot and help people be self sufficient. The reasoning behind the plastic lettuce knife might be the same reason you are usually supposed to tear lettuce with your hands instead of cutting it. The plastic knife is not sharp so it kind of just tears the lettuce instead of slicing through the cell walls. Imagine if you zoomed in on a piece of lettuce the cell structure looks like bubble wrap where the bubbles are filled with water. When you cut with a sharp knife you are slicing through those sacs of water exposing the inside to the open air (oxidation). When you tear (perhaps also when you use that dull plastic knife) you are tearing along the boundaries between the cells. Less cells get their insides exposed to the air thus slowing down the browning.
