The voice acting on some of the characters sounds strange, lol. Was the count a vampire in the original Oblivion?

Yes. And it is a big deal.

My second play through I closed all the gates. Took forever and in the end it does nothing.

I don’t know if you are aware but you can change the name of the horse with the console. Setactorfullname I think it was. Could name him ‘Apex Predator’. Not saying you have to but just saying that in oblivion it is possible.. I was sad I could not do it in Skyrim. ):
You might also like a mod that adds saddlebags, so you can store some extra crap every now and then. :O

That’s how it works in oblivion.

Nice ending, can't wait for the next Oblivion episode and set of Shire Saturday episodes. By the way, George, you got any clues as to when mods such as Lordbound or Apotheosis are bound to be released? Just really curious, for some reason.

17:35 that's why you don't retreat further into enemy territory. Always try to go back the way you came, because you know it's clear already. Good job handling them though. That was indeed quite a lot of goblins.

Kvatch Rebuilt should have been a DLC, in my opinion.

    • JosnuffTheGamer
      JosnuffTheGamer 2 months ago

No, I'm glad it's part of the original because it goes along with the story. It's only right you rebuild it in the original after you helped defend it, and it makes no sense to leave it destroyed in the original.

Hey George! Just wanted to enlighten you on the land on The Shire: When you were buying materials,it didn’t say 30,300 gold; it meant 30 for 300 gold.

@GuweyGaming I didn't take it as rude, you're all good. Just commenting that I think it was just bad design, but the mod had a lot of weird grammar and things that felt unpolished.

    • GuweyGaming
      GuweyGaming 4 months ago

Zero Period Productions no I understand where you could’ve got that from. From watching your walkthrough it’s pretty obvious that the mod author didn’t understand the importance of grammar lol.I will admit that did come off as rude,my bad for that.I was just letting you know, and had no intentions of putting you down

    • Zero Period Productions
Zero Period Productions  4 months ago +2

In my defense, are you telling me that no one else looked at 30, 200 and thought it meant thirty thousand and two hundred gold? That is a terrible way to try and display that.

My thoughts before seeing the Count were that Strange red liquid = blood whereas the Count and his condition = Vampire. Then we saw The Count with his red eyes and my deduction about the Count was correct.

Broke my back recently. And right before, like 2 days before. I had successfully modded my favorite childhood game to get back into. Atleast I found you to watch it. Since I'll be on my back for weeks to come. Keep up the playthrough! Its alot of fun.

Farmer: Consider it thanks for avenging me.
    George: Avenge you?
    *Farmer proceeds to knight George*
Farmer: You’re an avenger now 🥴🥴🥴
    George: F***ing Skooma!
(The real reason why the Duke looks a bit sickly 😉🙃 = bloodwater skooma, says the Blackhorse courier)

Love your stuff but i must ask: what mod manager do you us for your mod, there where no info on that on your website, but I could be blind :3

    • bcfb21
      bcfb21 4 months ago

Depends on the game I imagine. I have heard bad things about newer mod managers for older games. I imagine he’s just using obse. But I could be wrong. If you’re looking for Skyrim there’s nothing wrong with vortex don’t know if that’s what he’s using though.

  • London Sky

I always wondered why they didn't rebuild it in the main game

    • Hjallecalibur
      Hjallecalibur 4 months ago +1

I can actually answer this: it was a cut quest they did scrap becouse of time and yes, it didn't work perfectly with lore. Kavatch did never rise from the ruins and ashes, and it was a living example of a horrid story, and an end of an era!

    • London Sky
London Sky 4 months ago +2

@Zero Period Productions Agreed! However, even just having a new camp inside the city at the start of the mod seemed better. Otherwise the city was just a ghost town, it'd probably take decades to build all the stone structures again, sadly

    • Zero Period Productions
Zero Period Productions  4 months ago +8

I understand why they didn't from a story standpoint. Oblivion gates are popping up everywhere, there's no Emperor, and according to the public there's no heir left alive. All the remaining counts would be focused on keeping their own cities safe, and the gold being used on a reconstruction effort would be better suited to funding troops, gear, etc.

Even after the Oblivion main game ends so much is still in disarray, it would probably be years before anyone would be able to commit to a full reconstruction project.
