I queued this up on my sister's laptop when she was supposed to be doing the worship projection at Church last Sunday! This came on and the entire church watched about a minute of it before my sister turned it off. Needless to say - it was the funniest shit I have ever witnessed and I practically shat myself watching all these people sort of singing along thinking it was sincere! xDDDDDDDD
The song is actually quite beautifully sounding which makes it extra bizarre and funny. Like when the guitarist does the little lick in the intro... its so well composed and so damn disturbed hahaha
I watched this, as somebody who is classed as having a disability, along with a friend whose girlfriend, who exploited her disability just a bit too much, had just split with him. Now he insists that had nothing to do with where I'm going with this, but... Somehow, at that moment, the song was the funniest thing in the world to us. He couldn't breathe, and I was more amused by how hard he was laughing.
As much as I found this funny it was very sad for me to watch this film. I remember when I thought a band were my friends. So I drove them around every where to gigs. They never invited me for a drink when they did not have a gig or even gave me petrol money but I was so desperate for friends and to be a part of something I was just to deluded and desprate.
Reminds me of the scene in The Office where he's introducing the disabled lady to the group, and he starts to say "Have you all met the ..." and catches himself just in time and finishes it "... this little lady?" 😂
Rickys got more balls than 99% of comics out there, totally un-pc but totally hilarious and probably the most intentionally cringey thing I’ve ever seen.
