They could most likely do a similar piece on the "stay" campaign but I will say without watching the film I have no idea if this is fact or fiction or a bit of both. It does seem the PM is trying every thing she can to remain in, like a child on purposely doing the washing up so bad you never ask them to do it again. I guess the multinational banks & other transnational corporations who partly fund the remain campaign demand it from her.

Maybe you should have thought about that before. No sympathy for you whatsoever on that front. You made your bed, so sleep in it, while the rest of us try to clean up your mess. The acting was decent and it had a few genuinely funny moments like Boris and Gove looking at each other with opera glasses, but the script was nothing but a twisting of events to try and imply Leave somehow won when they shouldn't have. It was totally biased, full of smug condescending digs at leave voters, patronizing propaganda that Leave were all crazy extremists somehow breaking the law and brainwashing people via social media while they portrayed the Remain side as all sensible and respectable, give me a break! They even clearly implied the murder of Jo Cox was because of the Leave campaign, if you look at the actual evidence it is highly questionable if it wasn't a false flag remain assassination to swing the vote just days before, there was zero motive for the guy they have locked up to have done it and the case was full of holes for which no defense case was given. thexvid.com/video/HEIoLftYYLM/video.html

    • Jamal Lalaoui
      Jamal Lalaoui 2 months ago

+Paul Kaitel It's a breach in the privacy. I dont want the information on my facebook account (hidden from public) being shared with any third party without my consent. This is how Cambridge Analytica proceed to send targeted campaign.

    • Paul Kaitel
      Paul Kaitel 2 months ago

So what if they used internet marketing companies to help their campaign reach people, that's what a campaign is supposed to do, there was nothing illegal about it and data is collected on us whenever we use the internet, TheXvid has placed cookies on your computer to monitor you for example, yet this program made it seem all underhand, illegal and somehow cheating, well the fact is it wasn't any of those, it was just good sense to use internet data services to reach your target audience, so what. I'm sure Remain did the same thing but you wont here about that because it wont be investigated and if they didn't then that's their mistake and wouldnt have changed the result anyway, wouldnt have even been close if the false flag assassination of Jo Cox hadnt also been staged to swing the vote to remain.

    • Jamal Lalaoui
      Jamal Lalaoui 2 months ago

There are facts that you cant deny: the leaving campaign used AggregateIQ, Cambridge Analytica, breach in the electoral laws, etc... All of these are not democratic, and until now only a few were aware of this.

Some people are saying this will be biased others that it is just an argument. If it were indeed an argument then what about the argument from the perspective of Brexiteers rather than Remainers (just like PM May) arguing it for us? And judging by Channel 4's past record in support of Remain including their news program is it any wonder that this will probably sway more people to feel the need to leave an organisation that, after 2 years of supposed negotiations, will not negotiate anything at all because they fear it will be the end of their authoritarian, elitist, greed ridden project. The working classes are waking up to this nonsense so let them air it so more people get turned off by the middle class bias that these people spew.

    • Joseph Handford
      Joseph Handford 2 months ago

+greendaytomd96 There was £9 million of overspending made by the Government with their leaflet at the beginning of the campaign. That same £9 million was, in effect, an illicit donation by the people of the UK who never gave their permission for it to be used in that way because it was tax payers money. And the 'British' political consulting firm isn't the first company to have collected and used data in this way but because the side that the elitists never expected to win did they are using it as an excuse to rerun the referendum thinking loads of people have changed their minds. Well everyone that I speak to haven't changed their's and there are a lot of remainers who now would vote to leave because they have seen how unresponsive the EU have been including Westminster where the majority of MP's got elected on a mandate of leaving the EU. And by the way, was there overspending, foreign funds or political analyst groups doing what are now considered illegal practices when the Conservative and Labour parties got elected under the promise of leaving the EU?

Looking at the timing of this release and the parlimentary vote on May's BREXIT in Name Only (BRINO) agreement I rather suspect this is part of the plan to undermine BREXIT. It is quite wrong that this film is being released days before the vote.
She postponed the vote not to negotiate but to give her time to publish propaganda (tour of the country, May's Christmas Letter, Queens Speach, New Years Honnours List, 50/50 chance of remaining, power cuts, BBC, control of the media, James O'Brien, Nigel Farages Christmas break, etc., etc., etc.,). She thinks that by by running down the clock everyone will lean towards her deal. Now this appears over the horizon just before the revised vote.

I have not seen this movie yet but already from the trailer i don't even have to, this makes Remainers who cant let go look even more , to make a movie about Brexit months before were due to leave by the looks of it without a deal which is what leavers voted for, And so after 2 years of protests, moaning, and whining (which is your right) have done you nothing and now some fat cat gets funding for a movie which says there not trying to depict people who voted leave as monsters, lets try making a bloody movie about all the episodes of project fear we have had from remain to then, Its really funny how you don't see anyone making a movie about that one do u, instead they properly had a have a whiff raff between Tony Blair, John Major and George Sorrow to fund this movie, Gina Miller must be skint by now after court,. when next march comes along and theirs no turning back at least not for another decade so enjoy this movie all you like, it wont make a difference, if you support this movie you do not deserve the democracy we all live, no ifs or buts, if remain won they would be saying the EXACT same thing about us and it amazes me how quick this movie is airing on TV instead of arriving in the cinema like most commercial movies without a agenda, i hope everyone see's through this movie, Cumberbatch should be ashamed and embarrassed with himself, Alot of people who voted for Brexit see this as nothing more than a last resort of the establishment trying to stop us, its soo ridiculous.

+Pip Yorkie I'll keep this short as possible. Racism ≠ prejudice. POC and immigrants do not control the levers of power in any english-speaking western nation. Therefore they cannot design a social climate or institutions that oppress causasian-presenting people on a universal scale. Britain is one of the single greatest racist powers in history. Unequivocally. Only Spain, France, the Netherlands, and a few others, compete for most damaging racist legacy. So your feelings are not surprising, they have a lineage, but your bucking of responsibility is an added shame. If you don't want brown people or non-english speakers in your country, you can just say so: "I am a racist and I want to maintain systematic white power in this country and keep them out." Don't skulk around it and say racism is justifiable because it exists on both sides. It does not. That is cowardly. Those people have nothing to hurt you with except their own hands. If they hate white people and British culture that is a prejudice, and frankly a reasonable one. You however have an entire global socio-economic-political matrix oriented to undermine them from the beginning: that is racism. ✌

    Once we’ve sent 350 million to Eu a week x 52 x 45 years how much is that ....?
How do we pay for anything ?

    • Craig Brexit

The figure is slightly less. It's about 200 million, which is still a lot. We pay 10 billion a year, which could be spent else where if I'm honest. Funding public services would be nice.

MrDivca agree, especially regarding the politicians driving Brexit (Raab resigned because he wasn’t happy with the Brexit deal, which he had negotiated).
My point about money from EU to GB was that it’s supposed to be a union, quid pro quo, money is circulated, just like it is in GB, some of the money London produces gets invested in Wales, some of the money Manchester produces is spent in Devon, etc; to just look at ‘all the money GB sends to Brussels (“£350m per week”)’ is simplistic and obtuse.
Referendum was badly organised and badly run, a lot of people with a lot at stake didn’t do their part, and we got the result we got; I’m a Spaniard living in the UK since 1998, don’t want Brexit, we got to find the best solution now.

    • MrDivca
      MrDivca 2 months ago +1

+Ignacio Gonzalez for sure you can find this somewhere in statistics, especially focus on education, reserch, farming. But I assume you trying to make a point that they did not get as many as they pay in. In that case you would need to change the perspective how to look on this. All of this is an investment. GB did not spend this money just likee that and waisted. They make a business and these companies make a money, partially because they are part of EU. Similar with British colonies, we had them and invest money there to make money not just spend them. Or another It is like raising child you pay for few years, once is grownup all family is better of.
I agree with the reasons people voted for Brexit, I just see different solution for this. And I accepted 2 years ago that Brexit is going to happen but now when we just about to leave I see how incompetence politicians are. I do not want to drive our country by these people. First we need to have a good leader then we should challenge ourselves. And non of the first page Brexit leader is capable to do this as they run away long time ago when there was lots of work to do. Thay just coming back from time to time to complain again and again .... they should do their job right in first place and listen to the people. Really we need get rid off these people otherwise Brexit or no Brexit they still will be performing bad.

+MrDivca No I do not because by not wanting the above this is precisely what we wanted so my argument would be that the Remainers didn't know what we wanted despite the Leave camp knowing full well what it was. It is no different than allowing a remain MP to be elected as Prime Minister and expecting her to know what Leaving the EU was all about. In 1997 New Labour said they were no longer the party of Tax. If there ever came a day when Communist or Fascist Parties said they would no longer be authoritarian would you believe them?

    • MrDivca
      MrDivca 2 months ago +1

+Joseph Handford yes you absolutely right Brexiteers don't want the above but this doesn't mean they knew what they wanted. You may leave work but at this same time must have plan what next, they did not. It is easy to start revolution when you have a clever leader. All Brexit leaders disappears day after referendum. I hope you understand my point.
What is going to happen now is that this same bad politicians who couldn't look after their own people once they were in EU, they will look after the people and country when we leave EU. For me that is not a good alternative. This will give them excuses after the Brexit for the all the things that they should provide in the first place regardless from Brexit. It is easy to lose, I want to know what we can gain. They will replace one deal with other deal exactly this same. They do not planning to cut emigration, they just want less people from EU.
All the problems still be with us and politicians will not sort them for us because if they could, they would do this in first place long time ago. For me EU membership is just a tool to make things easier. That why I voted to stay. When Brexiteers tell me what they want and how they want to do it then I will tell they knew what they were voting for. It is not the EU it is the politicians who let us down.

    • Joseph Handford
      Joseph Handford 2 months ago

+MrDivca Cameron said a week before the referendum that if we vote to leave we will lose access to the Single Market, the Customs Union, Freedom of Movement, and the European Court of Justice for the sake of Sovereignty. The key issue is Sovereignty because you can't withdraw from the other institutions without it, therefore, everyone who voted to Leave the EU first and foremost voted for Sovereignty. Everyone knew that we would leave the other institutions but, like any political party when we decide who to vote for,e.g. for some people leaving the Single Market was more important than Freedom of Movement because small businesses have suffered and gone out of business because the regulations (on every product under the sun) has meant having to destroy what didn't conform to the EU (because they don't like competition and progress) and if they couldn't afford to replace said stock they couldn't continue and compete with the big multinationals. So Yes, we knew precisely what we were voting for. The Remainers who knew what they were voting for are the middle class elite, the media, the politicians, actors, multinational business leaders (who all have glorified salaries), the section of unemployed who don't want to work (because the government are giving them enough benefits to survive on) and the migrants who come here (earning 10 times more than they do at home with a 20% top up by the government) and the few remaining supporters who have been brainwashed by the elite. It's called Marxism!

+Gazza thought you might be interested in what I had to say to Aman Arya. Don't try that Marxist trick by making out this is about left and right, Gazza quite clearly pointed out that the Far Right and Far Left are as bad as each other. What Marxism is about is control of the state for power and greed which has in history always been favourable to the middle classes. This is no longer about left and right this is a class war. Another example from Animal Farm which can be applied to a number of areas affected by the EU and what's left of Westminster, “All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others.” What is appalling is that this quote can even be applied to every child in the UK today, "All children must be taught to an equal standard (get rid of Grammars, destroy the best education system in the world and bring in a system where only the section of the exam is taught), but some Children (Public School, where they are still taught the full syllabus for all subjects and still taught to an O level standard) are more equal than others."

Aman Arya I'm all for free speech and I don't want to impose my views onto anyone at all, but I do expect my vote to be listened to in a democratic country especially after all MPs from all sides decided on the rules before the vote was taken.
You do realise that politics will never be the same again in our lifetime don't you 🤔 the party system has collapsed because it's MPs ( from all parties ) have been shown to be so far out of touch with the British citizens, it is plain for us all to see that the only way of fixing it is another election to remove the MPs who are ignoring the electors votes.
If you stop brexit it doesn't matter because the MPs have lost the trust of the voters and payback time will come at the next general election.
( remember 408 constituencies voted for brexit and only 242 voted remain so those 408 had better get the p45s ready )

    • Gazza

Aman Arya and there you have it at last, champagne socialism is about totalitarian control of the people, it hates the views of the people they pretend to serve because they want POWER at all costs and that's what the animal farm is about. Orwell was a champagne socialist himself and he wrote the truth that should not be spoken in his later books. He fought against fascism for the communists in the Spanish war and the communists ended up worse than what was there before and that is the animal farm book in a nutshell.
What you disagree with is that I should be able to burst your bubble and show what YOU and other champagne socialists are prepared to do to get your way over the democratic will of the people in the uk, the sheep in the animal farm say anything to keep their place in society ( same as the actors, celebs, newsreaders, MPs of all parties )
You have turned into the fascists you hate so much ⚠️
