You have a typo at the 5:03 mark. You should have 1918 not the 1980s in the text.

@mimirules21 it started in Kansas(not sure but somewhere in US) and travelled to different parts through soldiers since its was world war 1 time. All nations who were participant in WW1 despite suffering from disease suppressd media( probably so that enemies don't get to know that their soldiers are dying) and hence nothing came out in media but Spain was neutral and hence they reported everything accurately so these WW1 nations started calling it Spanish flu. And till date its called Spanish flu

Viruses are not actually living things, they are not Alive! Without a cell, a virus cannot reproduce. So when we talk about killing viruses, we don't know what we are talking about...A special hormone called interferon is produced by the body when viruses are present, and this stops the viruses from reproducing by killing the infected cell and its close neighbors.

  • Jf Howard
    Jf Howard 2 days ago

...and what happens when there is no vaccine? You suffer the flu wave out by allowing your own immune system to fight it off. ... proper rest, diet and over-the-counter cold/flu medicines are the only optiins you have, unless the symptoms get much worse in being more sever... then it is back to see your doctor.

"We know so much more about viruses and how to fight them" This is true. The Spanish flu of WW1 was recently discovered as H1N1 -- the Bird Flu! That's why less people died the second time around of this flu.

If you want to do something to really protect yourself and everybody else from the Corona virus then take a spray bottle filled with bleach/disinfectant solution and a cloth when you go out in public, even soapy water can work pretty well against Covid-19. Keep the cloth damp with the bleach solution and use it when touching door handles, pressing buttons, using ATMs or touching anything in public that is touched by others who may have the virus and coughed on their hand. This way not only are you not touching any public surfaces yourself, but at the same time you are helping to keep all door handles and buttons etc a virus free environment for everybody. Imagine if we got everybody to do this, the virus would not be able to transmit via surface contact which is the main way it transmits, new cases would drop to near zero within a week. So please tell everyone, and tell everyone to tell everyone too. Lets create an army of people all doing their bit to fight this virus before its your child or grandparent that's next.
Remember tho, this is a 'solution' meaning mixed with water, Bleach solution 10 parts water to 1 part bleach. Or use disinfectant or liquid soap in just the same way. This is such a simple solution, the newspapers and tv should be telling everybody to do this, I emailed them but all they're interested in doing is scaremongering. The government could place refill tanks in busy areas quite easily, but they don't. So we all need to act ourselves, get a spray bottle and cloth, but tell EVERYBODY else. We need to spread this idea instead of the virus, so don't stop passing this message on please. Join me in the ACVA(Anti-Corona virus army) now.
    Thank you.

The only way to get really sick is for a really sick person to sneeze on you. If you catch it through the air it will most likely not feel worse than an allergic reaction. Your body will develop resistance. That is why it’s better to stay home and introduce it slowly. It’s already in the air.

    Infographics show,
I thought the Spanish Flu ended in 1919,
why does it say 1980 in the texts when talking about the Spanish flu? (Time Stamp 5:04) could you explain this please? I learn so much from this channel, and I know idk that much about the Spanish flu. Were we still having effects in the 1980's? Can't wait to learn what the 1980's had to do with the Spanish Flu.
    Thanks,

Grey Daze - Sometimes. Sometimes, things just seem to fall apart
When you least expect them to
Sometimes you want to pack up and leave behind
All of them and all their smiles
I don't know what to think anymore
    Maybe things will get better
    Maybe things will look brighter
    Maybe maybe maybe
    Sometimes, people surprise you
    And people surprise me
Well I guess that's the price we pay
    For wanting so badly
I don't know what to think anymore
    Maybe things will get better
    Maybe things will look brighter
    Maybe maybe maybe
I don't know what to think anymore
    Maybe things will get better
    Maybe things will look brighter
    Maybe maybe maybe
I don't know what to think anymore
    Maybe things will get better
    Maybe things will look brighter
    Maybe maybe maybe
