Try cutting your corn off the cob in a bundt pan.
I do not have a bundt pan. I have seen that idea and certainly worth a try. Thanks, Margie
Marjorie Vangenewitt It's funny you commented now because I just made it yesterday. I use Old Bay instead of Salt. 😋 yum
This is so nice to do when their are several people. I have never seen anyone ever ask for butter, maybe people will use more salt. I would expect that in my house because I always go light on the salt.
Awe this is like the grandma I never had 😂 thank you for sharing this 😊
Okay 😊 will do
My daughter, Elisabeth is a pastry chief. That is very exciting!Keep us posted. Thank you for commenting. Margie
Marjorie Vangenewitt Yes, I love cooking I'm wanting to become a chef when I finish highschool.
Thank you for the lovely comment. Do you like to cook?Margie

@Angela Dean Thanks so much.I was at a girlfriends house this past weekend, she served corn.I know she did not make it the way I do.It had barely any flavor or sweetness.I did not say anything. I promised myself I would mention something later. but still didn't.I figured it was not that important. I will say something after awhile. Is that weird?Margie

Can you use No Fat Milk?
@Andrew Abeles Check out Andy's videos on Square Dancing.Click on his name here.
@Andrew Abeles Bye the way square dancing was sooo much fun last night. The caller was great! He used all the plus calls and I was able to do them: Follow your neighbor, relay the Deucy, linear cycle, chase right, to name a few But he didn't call cross fire. It was the Ice Cream social plus it was someone's birthday so there was cake. There were so many things to put on the ice cream that I was reminded of Milk Maids. Thanks for inspiring me to learn to Square Dance. Love you, Margie
@Andrew Abeles Hi Andy...by the way everyone, that is my brother... I did some research on this and could only find that milk helps make the corn less bitter. If I were to make an educated guess I would say it is the lactose (milk sugar) in the milk. Based on my reading, I could have used a couple of cups of milk in the water. I actually found someone that cook in only milk. Doing it that way I would probably not use any sugar. I cooked it based on what our mom used to do. To answer your question, no fat milk would be fine.
Hi we had some fresh corn on the cob for the 4th.Was this video made before the 4th.That corn sure looked delicious never heard of adding milk to the water or sugar I just add a little salt but next time will try that milk not sure about if I will use the sugar though. Thanks paul
Oh yeah! Absolutely try this. This technique is not new. In regard to the sugar. I was just doing some research and probably adding more milk and leaving out the sugar would give the same result. Thanks so much for watching and let me know what you think.Margie
Hi Margie, as always, i enjoy your great recipes. I love how you explain step by step what to do! Mmmm i am going to the market to get some corn to make right now!!! I love your personality, and keep those yummy recipes coming!

Hi Margie. Your fresh corn looks wonderful. I love sweet corn with butter. I love the first bite of crunch. Thanks for sharing and have a great weekend. :)
@Lila Arce Thanks for watching and for the compliment. I have always made corn this way and it does make a difference. Only problem is that I eat too much of it. Hope you have a nice weekend also.Margie
