You could've gone into a little more detail with the Eminem/Elton performance and it's significance at the time. Eminem was getting a lot of flack from gay rights groups for using the word fa**ot in his songs. The duo was unexpected because Eminem was supposedly homophobic and Elton is a gay icon. Three things happened for Eminem with this performance, he squashed the homophobia rumors, he received the gay seal of approval, and to my knowledge, he hasn't since used the word in the music.

Now I love MJ's music, but I'm certain most people are hard of hearing. He mimed the whole thing. The choir weren't even live. It sound exactly like the studio recording not because the live performance was so astonishing, but because it WAS the studio recording.
MJ mimed a lot. Anyone who listened to his albums a lot can tell.
Sure he's am amazing singer and there's plenty of evidence of his live ability, but there is also plenty of evidence that he mimed a lot.

You greatly missed the marked with lack luster performances, i.e. elton john, eminem, eric clapton. Not exciting. The ball was dropped big time when there was no janet jackson or whitney houston, or prince. you did manage to get the number one right with michael. this is definite thumbs down.

Fuck UR PICKS I've watched a few of your Top 10 videos and you can suck ASS . Never once have I seen the BEST LIVE VOCALIST ever mentioned. When it comes to Whitney Houston NO ONE has ever sounded better. Gets a standing ovation before and after because there is no way anyone could remain sitting after hearing something that was just unbelievable. How could anyone sing like that? It's just mind blowing what she did with her voice.

The Eminem & Elton John collaboration "made sense." It was significant at the time because Eminem had been getting a lot of bad press about being homophobic.

#7 - Tina Turner and Beyonce - is a very good example of what is wrong with music today. A grandma Turner sings the superstar beyonce right off the stage. Beyonce can not even come close to the power Tina is bringing. Legs and boobs she plays all the way. But her voice n a duet with Tina just can't compete.
