Recently, I have been through a 365-day journey in the rainforest of Vietnam. Using only natural things and primitive skills, I have to create shelter, find food and drinking water for survival. My goal is not simply to survive for 365 days, I also have to create conditions for long-term survival in the forest.

All of the channels like this need to get together and make a village.

  • Just Some Guy without a Mustache

Not only is this impressive, but in the future, this may come in handy for the viewers in case someone ever gets stranded and they have to survive by themselves in the wilderness.

This must have been hard to edit because of footage of 365 days…. I also like how he explains what he’s doing, and the materials he’s using, to build with saying it in subtitles.

    • Lantin
      Lantin 11 days ago

@C. Bone you realize that this is an hour long of footage. Which means every time he would finish making a segment he would power off the camera which conserved its battery life. Allowing him to have a camera battery life to last this long.

@byeah I mean. His hair grew out throughout the video and no way all that could’ve been made in a week. I’m sure it was longer than that, but he definitely had to have had actual food and shelter through this process.

@Ben Levy yeah there's no way this was 365 days, he barely aged and neither did any of the animals. Zero wear and tear on his buildings too, need a rooster to fertilise the eggs but only has a hen. I think he only took a week here lol

    • Ben Levy
Ben Levy 15 days ago +4

@byeah no i think he just has like some people with actual tools and when he eats his "first meal" he says days of hard work witout food bruh you would literly be starving this man probly brought a trailer to probly sleep at the night

  • DondeRob
    DondeRob 19 days ago +75

When I think of survivaling, I think of digging holes to make shelter with leaves and moss, spending all day to find some food and water, while slowly starving. What you're doing here is so next level. I love this idea. Not survivaling in the rain forest, but just living there. Amazing!

@Tonimarroni brother its not important to check if his lifestyle is fake. He may have had help with several things behind the camera. With food water shelter etc. we know that. There is no need to hate on this man. Hes shown some survival techniques that might be of help to someone someday. ✌️

Most people in survival situations make a quick small shelter to keep them warm/out of rain. This man straight up builds a house. I love it!

    • Zak A
      Zak A 12 days ago

I dont think what he did is recommended practice. It is imperative to get any kind of shelter up immediately before undertaking a big house like that. If it rained he would be soaked and would not sleep and could get hypothermia.

@Ruby Coin No, he's literally copying what Primitive Technology did on his TheXvid channel. Except this guy has a team off screen helping him and it's pretty fake - his clothing barely gets dirty or worn down, he himself never gets dirty and except for small bits, he somehow has enough battery life for 1 year of filming, he has the time and energy to setup cinematic shots of everything he does, he has no cuts or laceration on his feet despite walking around on the forest floor without shoes. This guys looks like he is on a film set.

As I watch him using rocks as cutting tools im amazed at the knowledge he has of building. Here in America we use powered tools and can't get results like that and as fast. I think America needs to hire him to build homes here for all the poor people bc he can build a home in 5 days or less with no power tools only can imagine how good he would be with power tools. Great job my friend and you record this off a wooden camera a rock as the lens. Just kidding

This music slaps. It feels like your out there working and crafting a life in the wild for yourself. Also this house is amazing. It's not poor looking it actually looks suitable. All it might need is decoration and so on. This guy is super honorable and I think he can create homes for the homeless, there is so much he could do. He has inspired me and his creativity and knowledge is making this easy for him to build.

You suffer no losses if you pay those guys doing all the building almost nothing....it's called slave labor.
Also those guys build based on instruction given to them off camera.
Any way its all fake , in terms of production.

He copied the Australian guy's channel 100%, just adding background music, which is especially silly since that is the wrong shelter for jungle survival. Congrats on his skill, but it added nothing to the internet.

This is the best survival video I’ve seen. He started with literally nothing and worked his way up to a house, kitchen, aquarium, chicken enclosure, and farm. That’s amazing.

@Redips Knuj not to mention his hair was short the entire time and the camera has to be recharged regularly

    • Idiosyncrasy
      Idiosyncrasy 3 months ago

@Redips Knuj also, most of his builds are complete identical copies of shit primitive technology (i.e. The exact channel he copied the name of) already had done. Like kudos for the hard work but wasn't plagiarizing the name enough? Even the content is rehashed just with a different man and it even got more views even if it was done 2 years later. Like it's just so unapologetic. Primitive technology IDEA. That's the best channel name they could've came up with?

Wow. So much knowledge, ingenuity, persistence and skill. Just one suggestion. Tiles should overlap more, so that the bottom of a tile just covers the top of a tile TWO rows below it.

Excellent work! I'm proud of you my friend and brother. Men everywhere previous to WW11 knew hard work and survival. Many young people are complaining about their world the men before them worked so hard to make it too easy for these young and foolish simpletons. They'll allow the devil to walk them into the snare they deserve and they'll pray for the life you have created there in your Jungle paradise..
