If you’re landing you’re gonna want that helmet it makes it a lot safer
@Double Klutch Racing Also...that's a base rig. No reserve canopy=no AAD.
It can save your life in many ways
@Nathan a lot of new parachute containers come with a spot to put the AAD, they do not come with them already. They can be quite expensive too so many don’t have them. The AAD also fires at normally 750 feet which is not ideal at all especially falling at terminal. It is there to protect from being knocked out. That is the main reason for it. You don’t have to wear them but it’s highly recommended.
@Xi Jinping most modern parachutes have an auto deploy function so I doubt it's for that reason
I'd be pulling that parachute cord the second I left the deck.

No it looks great fun really, l was just kidding, parachuting or parawinging looks brilliant, if l was young again and in the right health ld love it, but unfortunately I'm 65 and have an inner ear problem I've had all my life that upsets my balance if l move to fast or in twisting and turning ways, and gives me a kind of a fit where everything spins around me like a gyroscope, its called vertigo, ( most people wrongly think it means fear of heights but that is actually called acrophobia). Yeah I'd have loved it, but you have a great time dude enjoy yourself as much as you can in life.

Like, what if you wear one of those flying suits! You would have to be really good… but you see that lake off in the distance? What if you like flew down and skimmed a couple meters off the water.. then did a quick rise up…. basically flying like “U” …. hopefully wind resistance dissipated your speed enough that the vertical rise only 30-40 m above the water when your vertical energy runs out and gravity kicks in. Lol. That would be cool.

It looks like a paraglider actually, way too skinny (nose to tail) to be a parachute canopy, especially a tandem. Those lines look more rigid too

What are they hanging on like they're super high up like are they on like a air balloon or something that's I mean we're on the bottom of bridge or wow what are they hanging on and then he just let's go. Izgleda jako slično, isto sam i ja pomislio. Ali pogledaj malo bolje, nisam 100% siguran da je zaliv. Nema ostrva (Gospa), ne vide se ni zidine starog grada, a i same kuće uz obalu mi malo drugacije izgledaju. Mozda si ti u pravu, ako ti vidis bolje nego ja, ispravi me :)

@zero tolerance for Satanic Elite so he’s standing on the seat/harness he would have been in I’m pretty sure and the other guys feet is in that same harness to keep it more stable, I think. It didn’t look like there was a motor on the back of the main guy but there may have been one. If someone is experienced with paragliding then they could get some height without a motor. I don’t know much about paragliders though, just have a few coworkers who fly them on our off days

How did they get up? Assume it's a motorised paraglider, but how were they seated ?
As a person going through AFF right now (the program to get your skydiving license) I cannot speak on the bungee jumping as I’ve never done it nor will but I can speak on the second part. This is much more difficult than out of a plane. This you wouldn’t be able to do until you’ve had multiple jumps out of a plane actually. To the part of which he’s landing, he’s well over 5000 feet up, I’d say higher but not sure without an altimeter, by the time that parachute opens (4-6 seconds after he pulls the pilot chute) he’ll still have easy another few thousand feet to pilot the parachute to his designated landing area. Even if he did land in the water, in order to get your “B License” (second step up) you have to show that you know what do in that situation and show you can get out of it.

Why? You wanna know what makes me nervous. Gay bars! You wanna bring me to my knees, take me to a gay bar, man for real. Every time I'm even near one I start to get this queezy feeling in my gut. The thought of those leather clad or guys in suede chaps and cowboy hats slowly dancing, holding each other, whispering. Ugggh, thats gross man. Whwn I was in the Navy I had a 3 day pass in Singapore. I asked a cabbie ro take me to a bar district but absolutely no gay bars. I reaffirmed this to him like 10 times on thw way there. Guess what? Yep the sumbitch dropped me off at the Golden Banana. Ofcourse I couldn't read the sign sp how was I supposed to know man. I was literally sick that night. In fact I ended up having my stomach pumped. Aids are airborne. I woke up HIV positive in the hospital and there must have been a broken chair because my ass cheeks were badly bruised. Anyway.. True story
