FYI, In the beginning your guy is standing one rung above the roof line, which makes the ladder light on the bottom and "could" kick out. Always safer to have a protocol of always standing one rung below the fascia board - especially a one man operation. Just a good suggestion. Love your vids guys!

If you have the roof rings to prevent damage to the gutters, the things that look like hips, then it’s never an issue. They turn it from a lever into just a ladder

For every 4 feet up bring the base of the ladder one foot away from the wall.

@Justin Case do whatever makes you feel safe. The key point is never step on a rung above the roof line. Anything else is a plus.

Would staking the ladder to the ground help with that? Like big ass tent pegs and some rope around the bottom rung? I plan on working alone a lot so that's probably going to be a thing I have to deal with.

      Range Ryder 6 months ago

@MS 13 what do you want him to do? He still has to reach up there. You don't know what else was going on with the ladder, first of all. He could have been taking other precautions to keep himself safe, and also why does EVERYONE have some sperg out about a safety related thing? They know what they are doing and have probably never fallen off a roof before like this. Every gun video I watch there is some douche crying about safety, every car video is a douche crying about safety, etc. safety is gay.

Thanks for all of the knowledge that y'all drop in these video's. We've been doing pressure washing as a side income and I've learned alot from the both of you.

Hi, I saw your comment and decided to throw a question, do you register your side income as a real business or you don't and what do you do with taxes? Would appreciate some guidance. Thank you.

I watched some of your videos 6 months ago. Tried to do some pressure washing, but there is almost no market for here in Belgium.
So I tried something different, ended being a full time car detailer 6 months later.
    You inspired me big time!!!

Do you ever sand the brick after pressure washing ? And how much should insurance cost if it’s just you and from who do you get it from? Last but not least what do you do with all the dirt at the end. Word of the day rinse 🚿

Hey John I just started about a month ago and I am in Houston as well. Good luck to you man. I just sent flyers out with Usps eddm service so I’m waiting for those to go out and I plan on passing out flyers in my neighborhood pretty soon. Do you mind me asking where you got your equipment from? That’s a deal compared to mine

I’m considering starting a pressure washing business. I’ve recently found out it’s illegal for the water to enter the sewer system. I know if it happens it’s on the customer not the pressure washing company. How do you prevent the water from entering a pond or sewer system?

What is the best way to rinse without streaking windows?

    • Brian Michaels
      Brian Michaels 6 months ago

Just putting my opinion in here but when downstreaming, I’ve found that using Snotmenade as the surfactant makes windows really sparkle, and never let the solution dry on the window or you will definitely have to rewash the windows. Hope this helps

Depends on your coverage however generally if you can just take care of it yourself/ out of pocket it’s better because your deductible will be about the same and then next year your premiums go up.
