I am trying to lighten my dark hair to be able to put the red color on my hair, not red head red, but like Splat red. So, I used Splat lightener/bleach, I look like a clown with my dark hair, yellowish color and some red. But that was about 3 weeks ago the first time. I usually wait a few weeks before trying to lighten/bleach my hair again so it has time to suck up my natural oils and such again. I never over process on one day. I'm 42, my hair takes forever to grow, but my nails grow super fast. It's annoying. lol

Im allergic to most bleach so what wouldn't even use bleach just long months of lightning

A fun hair story.
I went to the salon to get my hair dyed again, and my usual stylist wasn’t there. So I got a different girl. I made a huge mistake and decided to just let the other girl do it because hey she’s a professional she knows what she’s doing right? *wrong.* she bleached my hair but it got REALLY hot and literally started burning. She washed it out and decided to just dye it then and there. She dyed it, and the color did not stick to my roots at ALL. So instead of just doing something to fix it, she just dyed my hair completely a second time. She left it on longer thinking that would do something. She washed it out and it didn’t stick again and I told her not to dye it again and that it was fine. When I got home, like half of the color came out on the first wash and my hair got REALLY stretchy. My hair is half dark purple and half bright red. The red half, thee did have turned grey???? And it’s absolutely fried and every time it gets wet, it gets stretchy and it breaks off. This has NEVER Happened to me before.
After she bleached it and dyed it twice, she stood there pulling on it, literally just watching it stretch. She goes “what hav you done to your hair?” And I asked what she meant and she didn’t really clarify so I told her I dyed it quite a bit and she goes “oh. That would have been nice to know.” SHE DIDNT ASKED BEFORE SHE DID IT AND THEN ACTED LIKE IT WAS MY FAULT

It actually hurts me watching that dude, cause I had a little accident last time I was bleaching my hair. I was really nervous for the past week, before I was bleaching my roots, and I was scratching my head really lot. And I forgot about it. I honestly don't remember ever having my head hurt so much, so all the stress went out and I started crying and all that unpleasant stuff was going on. I washed it off after like 20 minutes, cause I couldn't stand it anymore. I won't even talk about, how my hair looked aftewards, cause I had the rest of the hair like light pink and I wanted to dye it pink right after bleaching. BUT, my skin was completely burned, so I had to wait for it to heal. So now, I have these darkest roots like 1 cm growing, than lighter like 3 cm of hair, that I bleached for only 20 min and than my light pink rest of the hair. I hope, that I will get finally rid of this miserable situation this saturday... and I will NEVER scratch my head again. Uff

Iv always used 30 or 40 vol hair bleach and it’s turned out great. Went to hair dresser once and they burnt my scalp and didnt even bleach it properly so I don’t trust hairdressers but I trust brad.

i bleached my hair 4 times in one day and my hair was only stringy for 3 days 😂 i trimmed their ends. 6 months later when pink, two months later i did a color remover and stayed blonde. I learned my lesson 😂 i bleached my roots, theyre orange but i’m gonna wait before i lighten them like no i’m not gonna have my hair fall out fuck that 😂
