Williams was great but the director Marina Zenovich is a child rapist (Polanski)apologist. “It’s such a complicated, nuanced situation,” explained Zenovich. “But in regards to Roman, I don’t know how many times he did something […] if he did this more than one time, which perhaps he did, then it’s up to the Academy to decide. It’s not up to me.”

In a hallowed out, empty, boring and drab universe, Robin was a bright inviting Star and I sure miss basking in that warmth.

I had the ultimate pleasure of meeting this wonderful, kindhearted, loving soul in my one & only extra work on his movie Man Of The Year. I befriended another extra who had lots of experience & he kid of took me under his wing for the day. At the very end of the evening as things were about to wrap & most of the movies stars had gone home. Robin came over, shook the hand, asked the name & how they enjoyed their day of each & every extra. You could tell it was something not only wanted to but loved doing. I remember being beside myself with joy on the bus ride home. It will be an experience I will always treasure. It's just so sad he couldn't beat his daemons. Thank you Robin, Bangerang oh captain my captain. See you in Neverland !!

A lot of the pictures featured in this trailer were taken by the photographer Arthur Grace who accompanied Robin Williams on many of his tours. He released a book full of them a few years ago and I highly recommend it. It's a wonderful book.

😭😭😭 It still feels like only yesterday that he had left us behind.... This man inspired me so much to be who I truly am and to believe in myself. In shitty times I'd find myself resorting back to his films or stand up comedy shows for comfort... I may have never met him or knew him personally but it felt as if I'd known Robin my whole life. R.I.P. Robin.. Miss you..

I don’t think even Robin himself realized just how many lives he touched. I remember reading dozens and dozens of comments online after his suicide. There were no trolls to be found. Nothing but positive remarks: from veterans he had entertained to people who fondly remembered him through his films. His impact was tremendous, and the fact that no one had one negative word to say speaks volumes about his character and comedic legacy.

Suicide is the most selfish thing a person can ever do. I understand depression is a very unknown medical condition, but this hilarious and talented and gifted person had a family. He had people who genuinely loved him.
Suicide is never the answer, and it should never be normalized. Reach out, get help, and if all else fails.... update your will, get it notarized, go to a restaurant and tip your server $50, go to the dmv and become an organ donor, and THEN kill yourself, with the knowledge that you did a lot of good for other people, instead of being a selfish person making a selfish choice.
