the biggest thing about cooking turkey, if its above 10 lbs or so, you have to remove the breast whrn its about done, wrap it and pull it before the rest fo the bird is done. low and slow is the game.

I love the process to get to roasted turkey. "THIS ONE IS AMAZING, This one is also really good. But we cant pick either of these because they aren't household appliances.

Okay, I made this turkey for Thanksgiving, and it was AMAZING. I might dial back the smoked paprika a bit for Christmas as it's not my favorite spice, but it does something for the flavor of the turkey so it shouldn't be omitted. The glaze, the brine, everything- juiciest, tastiest turkey I've ever had. A++

Deep fried turkey..you doubt anyone in the US would ever do that???? You don't know Texas....freakin everyone deep fries their turkeys here...Yes there are trips to the hardware store involved...I listened to intense discussions at my Friendsgiving this year about how they deep fried the turkey, techniques for prep, etc. It's def a thing.

This recipe looks amazing and I'm looking forward to trying this out during the holidays. Has anyone tried this recipe with a 12lb turkey? Looking at the recipe on the BA site, a few comments said their turkey was salty; I'm wondering if anyone had any similar experiences? I know Andy said the dry brine is good for a 12-14lb turkey, I just get a little nervous trying new recipes.

Hats off to both Brad and Andy. This was by far the best turkey I have ever made. The flavor and the juiciness was amazing. I followed the recipe exactly as written and it came out amazing. Everyone enjoyed it and cutting it the next day for sandwiches was also delicious.

So I know im slow, and I feel like an idiot, but where is the final recipe?
I know there's many variations and trying many many things. And yes, I have watched the entire series, so maybe its on the final episode which i'll go check next, But I feel for those just wanting the full finished recipe, It should be on here too. Even in the description It makes life so much easier to see it without things flashing behind and around the screen. It's hard for me to focus on what's what when im looking for the recipe. I don't mind watching these shows, but if you guys are making the recipe for us, shouldn't it be an easier access for those that have a harder time with all the edit jumps?

Not even joking, I’m not a turkey person so I decided hey, if I gotta make turkey for my boyfriend and I, why not follow this recipe? We had a big family thanksgiving last weekend but that turkey wasn’t the best. Well I made it, had two other sisters join us as well and they are in love. So I gotta make another turkey for this weekend. Thanks lol
