We've been overawed by Ronaldo's signing I don't think we've appreciated how great a signing Varane is. What a player, no more Magalof.

  • Cyandrix
    Cyandrix 4 months ago +444

Fair play to Rangnick - Maybe he makes questionable choices, but at least he learns from mistakes unlike the previous manager. We're 2-0 up so we parked the bus to bring it home by taking off a striker and putting in some defenders (something we should have done at Villa)

@owen williams have a listen to any Klopp or Pep post match interview where they fucked up. Both admit to making mistakes, years in to the job with their teams… It’s a reactive sport. Changes are made speculatively, if you get it right great, if you get it wrong then you made a mistake.
I hope you don’t expect to get everything right every time through life. Life is one long learning curve and as long as you make changes when you get things wrong, mistakes become lessons.
Had RR not made changes and we blow a 2-0 lead again…. That’s when you can have an issue.

Maguire can’t even play defense against Dulwich πŸ™„β€¦Fred should also go, and some others πŸ˜’. I want to see players with 100% talent, 100% training dedication, 100% effort and 100% hunger for the win, mentally like Ronaldo. I want to see that United has teams for each and every cup competition they play and for the top position in the league. I want to see whoever is on the bench or pitch is the reliable player and you know nothing will go wrong πŸ˜‘. Academy players needs to develop more and start playing in the first team, new wunderkids from the United’s school.

@Ahmed I think we should wait till the end of the season to be sure, that he may be is a β€žyes manβ€œ. But I think every manager, which comes now will have same situation. At least with Ragnick we have an experience manager, who can as well talk with the board on a same level, because he already was a football director. Pathetic mentality. Rather than encouraging the team his selfish nature is destroying Man U. Ghosting for 70 mins and making the team much vulnerable throughout the 1st half he should not have been in the starting XI. Again on the weekend if he plays against West Ham game over 2-0 down by half time.

I disagree, you can be disappointed and not disrespect the manager by being openly petulant. He is sending a message that he is undropable. He is not bigger than the team. @ReverZe83 it was donny, player that Ronaldo mean in his interview. It has been more than six months since Ronaldo and Donny being teammates, for sure Ronaldo has talked to him and given him many advises about what he should do to get place in the starting XI. But it seems doesn't work at all for Donny neither in Ole' era or in Rangnick' era, because VDB didn't want to hear and implement Ronaldo' advises to him

He's said time & time again that United won't get top 4, even tonight on the watchalong he said he doesn't think top 4 was going to happen even with a win tonight & then opens this video saying "that win opens up the chance for too top 4!!"
    Contradiction Stand.

Rangnick said before he started you need first time players or only second time players.
    Taking 3rd 4th 5th players don't work hence Ronaldo.
Still valuable Ronaldo is but he cannot run a whole game in the Premiership when he tires.
De Hey is our defence only

Love how De Gea got pissed about losing his clean sheet. These defenders constantly let the man down. It’s criminal how they fall asleep than a patient with hypersomnia. Also we need to Keeb Bruno as Captain or give it to Ronaldo or De Gea. Can’t have clowns wearing that band.

@SavreetS06 I agree, I’ve always thought Lindelof was the better CB. He was suspect at marking a couple of times and has lost us big games from losing his man but he needs a leader next to him. Have Maguire next to him on encourages his mistakes. Varane compliments him nicely.

I remember Pogba saying his best position was number 6 shortly after he joined us from Juve. I think he also played as number 6 for France at Euro 2016, he barely ventured forward in that tournament.
Maybe Rangnick is planing to use him there.

@Franchize Tribe I never said he played number 6 for Juve, all I said was Pogba made a statement shortly after he joined us from Juve that his best position was number 6. I remembered reading it in one of the Tabloids back then.

I will say since Ragnick has come in, whilst results haven't been terrible, the one thing i notice is how calm he remains. That is not easy to have such a level temperment with most of the players he deals with. I like his honesty in terms of his analysis.

Midfield needed bodies. Maguire wasn’t the right choice. Matic(before McTominay coming off)or Donny would have been better. It’s always the midfield. I’d be doing a 442 not 433. Or I’d put a Bruno or Donny on the left not Greenwood on the right. I’d slide them back to mid if necessary. Bruno and Donny could still help create and get back and defend.

I'm flabbergasted as to why we're arguing whether Van De Beek should stay or leave. I thought it was common sense that he deserves playing time and to be somewhere where he's valued. As much as I'd love for him to be our starting midfielder, I'm not selfish, hence he needs to go to another club where he can show his worth
