Vitamin B and Vitamin D are good to take.
Reducing heat on your hair and also not tying your hair up a lot help with hair snapping.
I’d also say having a good cut will probably make you feel a bit better about your hair if you have a lot of split ends.

Don’t bleach it, find out if your hairdresser does olpalex treatment or buy it and do it yourself, also the olpalex shampoo, it’s bleaching your hair/colouring it that will make it break off, if your hair isn’t falling out from the root is wont be to do with inside so vitamins won’t do anything if it’s breaking off it’s to do with the bleach

You should use coconut oil in your hair, leave it it for around an hour then wash it out with your regular shampoo and conditioner. I also recommend a deep conditioner, one that is nourishing and split end repair works really well💜 Hope this helps

I used to have very long and extremely thick hair however when the ends started getting damaged I had to bite the bullet and cut it short. I did spend like 6 months trying to fix it before cutting it and all I can say I'd don't use hair oils as it takes so many washes to get it out that it's not worth it xx

Hairdresser here, best thing for your hair is get olaplex in your colours (at the hairdressers) makes such a difference... keristasse hair products are 100% the best for hair repair, they're masks are amazing. Dont rely on heat protector, it's a gimmick.. heat protector doesnt stop your hair getting hot, which is what damages it. Also learning to blow dry your hair smooth cuts the need for straighteners. :)

You can take biotin tablets but don't take any more than the recommended dose (I take 1000mcg), I've already got heart problems (I had a pacemaker put in at 18 years) HOWEVER, I've not had any futher issues and I take them as my hair got thinner due my Under Active Thyroid not being controlled and using Heat Products loads during seccondary school, but it's doubled in thickness again since taking them and grown loads - I don't even bother using heat products anymore either, and use a keratin repair on my ends so I don't have to cut it as often - also, don't towel/blow dry and don't brush your hair when it's wet, that helps.

Few tips to help your hair if you haven’t seen the Brad mondo video on how to wash your hair...
1: you only need to shampoo your scalp because the shampoo washes your ends when you rinse it off. (Literally you will save so much on shampoo).
2: Don’t put your hair up in a towel (very tempting) but don’t! Just scrunch your hair a few times then let it hair dry!
3: Shampoo and rinse as soon as you are in the bath/shower then leave the conditioner on until you are ready to get out.
4: Try to wash your hair once/twice a week. Less is more.
5: Use oils/serums and use a tooth comb gently when your hair is dry.
    I hope this helps ☺️ ! x

Idk if you have it in the UK but here in the US we have this stuff called Cantu it does wonders... my hair is super thick and grows like a weed lol.. I used it on my daughter.. she was born with very little hair and hers is just as thick and luscious!! You can get a shampoo and conditioner or the conditioner cream that you add a little to your hair after a shower/washing your hair.. just remember if you use it a little goes a long way lol. Too much can make your hair look a little greasy.. I just applied it to my ends and didnt get too close to my roots to avoid that.

Hair starts from genetics, as a Asian I have been blessed with long, thick hair however my younger sister hasn’t. We started just washing her hair like normal and letting it air dry however it wasn’t doing anything surprising. So at the beginning of July we started putting coconut oil and caster oil in her hair ( the night before washing it ) and it helps so much, with thickness and hair health so much quantity for the price and honestly helps. Also as I wear a headscarf I only wash my hair once year, but as my sister shoes her hair she washes it often so what we’ve made her do is air dry her hair and leave it natural, if she wants curled hair we would do no-heat sock curls and if she wanted straight we would brush strands of her hair and Bobby pin them on the top of her head. Hope that helped !’

    • Jannah Hussain
      Jannah Hussain Month ago

Omg, I wash my hair once a week**** NOT once a year ! Also what we do with my sister is we keep her hair “neat” every morning we brush her hair and she can style it how she wants but we tell her no gel, no heat ( only sometimes ), dry shampoo if needed and hairspray if needed as well ( not all the time as it damages hair follicles. ) then at the night we brush her hair once again and put it on a plait, this helps control the hair at night and doesn’t tangle as often. Hair oils also help after the shower with damp hair, of heat is needed USE HEAT PROTECTION and just keep hair in a controlled matter and it honestly helps a lot !!

Only wash it once twice a week. Buy sulphate free etc shampoo and conditioner. LESS heat I can’t stress enough. Oils oils oils!!! Also do hair masks.. maybe the pure organic cold pressed coconut oil once a week drench your hair in it. (Sleep in it!) or do it in the morning and wash at night. Keep your hair in loose bun in a scrunchie on days your aren’t doing much. drink water! Healthy food etc. I had such lovely hair growing up, so thick and long (just above my bum) then when I went hair dressers at 17 for ‘layer’ they proper messed it up and then I ruined the top of hair by putting XL live platinum blonde on it 😩 I’ve got so many horror hair stories. Anyway when I was about 20 I went back to brown hair and left it (it grew a bit) since 2015 been blonde brown blonde brown.. but since 2015 its finally all grew back! It’s now to the bottom of my ribs. Ends are a bit dead though. But in 2017 the whole year I went back brown and completely left it. Again massively helped! Must of used heat about 3 times that year. I haven’t used a hair dryer in years!!! I learnt a lot about hair between the age of 17-21😂

What I find is really good for hair is don't always dry your hair fully dry your hair about 70% dry and then leave the rest to dry naturally, I sometimes leave my hair to dry completely on its own. Moroccan oil is good for the bottoms ends of your hair, try hair masks too like once or twice a week. And if you do want to dry and straighten your hair use a blow drying spray or heat protecting spray. And twice a year i have a good cut from long to short and then grow it again for a few months and then have it cut again (not just a few inches) like a proper cut and restyle. Your hair will feel so bouncy and full having short is hair trust me. ☺
