Delusional disorder is a generally rare mental illness in which the patient presents delusions, but with no accompanying prominent hallucinations, thought disorder, mood disorder, or significant flattening of affect. ... However, the preoccupation with delusional ideas can be disruptive to their overall lives.

You don't need to play Human Revolution to get into this game but Human Revolution is great in its own right.

MD is a great game, way more balanced than Human Revolution. But I don't like the lighting they use for Prague (Day version). IMHO It would have been way better if the developpers had made the "Prague day" map to be darker and with rain or have a "Sunny Prague evening" map" instead (More yellowish/orange). Sunny days with Deus Ex just seems odd.

Just did a speedrun while collecting crafting parts and armor-piercing ammo. Praxis earning through XP was also kept to a minimum. Now when I play NG+ I can enjoy playing the game without having to grind to have more upgraded weapon options. Also these items would be available at the start of the game, and Praxis kits will still be useful to work towards.
I'd recommend giving yourself a bit of time before playing again though, speedruns are more draining than they look.

The Palisade Bank should go down as one of the greatest levels in Gaming History. Aside from te level design and the dialogue boss fights i found this game just a little dull story-wise, so i lost interest. Also like Human Revolution you have to play in a pretty boring way to get max score, in this game i would switch on my predator vision in 1 second bursts looking for air ducts.

This game HATES my pc for some reason. First it would crash when you visit the doctor guy who almost melts your systems down, then it would always crash right after that. Never did get it to work past that point for some reason. I might try a pirated copy and see if that works, since I've only played the Steam version as of now.

Climate change is being politicised on both sides of the argument ... the "believers" and the "non-believers". The problem is that people dont understand the issue:
    a) FACT: "science" works by posing a theory and the proving/disproving it through REPEATABLE LAB EXPERIMENTS. We do NOT have an "earth 2 to earth 10" to run lab experiments on ... we ARE INSIDE the effing ONE TEST TUBE while the experiment is running! Thus you have to conclude that "no one can make precise predictions" and all you can do is "educated guesses" from BASIC SCIENTIFIC PRINCIPLES.
    b) BASIC PRINCIPLE: hurricanes get their energy from warm water in the ocean and "warmer water = more powerful or more frequent hurricanes" is a logical conclusion that can be taken as FACT.
    c) FACT: the planet is getting warmer (just look at the glaciers in the alps over the last 50+ years, they are MUCH smaller) ... what isnt "scientifically proven" is what caused it (see a), but that DOES NOT MATTER because "the planet becoming more inhospitable" is bad for all of humanity. Even if industrialized countries are going to be capable of mitigating it ... there will be millions of people from developing countries flooding our borders.
So we still need to do everything we can to avert climate change ... and it is especially frustrating to see an industrialized country like the USA being absolutely against developing new technology to reduce their own dependance upon oil ... because US foreign policy #1 is "make oil cheap". Newsflash: oil will run out eventually ... and the later you adapt to that the harder it will get.
Oh and Greta is an insufferable puppet that leads the masses of gullible and uninformed teenagers in service of a pied piper that needs to be identified.

@Muck006 my comment about that is... YOU didn't provide a link in your original post and the link you did provide was to a suspect website that I got warnings was not a safe website (trying to get a keylogger on me?)
The NASA report said the ice grew by 30% in one year which is a massive growth.
I dont give two shits if it overall is shrinking because we are still coming out of a minor ice age. My quote was accurate. You bit on hit... hook, line and sinker.
Why won't you comment on the planet being warmer in the past before humans existed? Warmer by far than it is today...
If its mankind's fault and we must stop it than why did the 5 major ice ages happen and how did the planet warm again?
But I dont expect a real answer... it will just be: dont ramble on about ice ages!!! We're all gonna die on a planet that's cooler than it's been in the past REEEEEEEE!

    • Muck006
      Muck006 3 months ago

@Tim Garner Just quoting from the abstract (since I cant access the full article ... YOU didnt provide a link): "Our analysis suggests an increase in the amount of Arctic sea ice grown in winter through the coming decades, partly due to the fact thinner ice grows faster than thicker, more insulated, ice. *As the Arctic warms rapidly,* the strong atmosphere and ocean forcing dominates over this feedback and is *projected to promote declines in sea ice growth."*

Of course the ice grows IN WINTER ... but does it REMAIN? No!
Also: "The Arctic is WARMING" ... any comments about that?

    • Tim Garner
Tim Garner 3 months ago +2

@Muck006 lol, you muppet. The nasa report said that it grew a massive 30% in one year.
      That's an absolute fact.
      The earth has been warmer.
      That's an absolute fact.
You called Greta a insufferable puppet. You sound just like her.
      That's an absolute fact
Climate change is a reality. The planet gets cold and it gets hot before the rise of humans as I've stated. Humans are not the cause.
      That's an absolute fact.
      God this is fun
One last thing... as for blame. Nope not my fault. You Europeans started the industrial revolution and colonized the world.
      Blame yourself

    • Muck006
      Muck006 3 months ago

@Tim Garner You claimed the arctic has grown massively ... as a FACT ... AND you claimed NASA said it. Both are untrue, so please stop trying to argue ... at this point you are trying semantics to not have to accept the fact that global warming is reality. You try EVERYTHING to not be blamed ... but the fact is that WE CANT AFFORD A WARMER EARTH ... AND IT DOESNT MATTER IF IT IS THE SUN OR OUR POLLUTION THAT DID IT. Stronger hurricanes and droughts will be bad no matter what.

Hugo Pratt's "Corto Maltese" series of graphic novels is a classic and a half. The protagonist is a marine captain in the WW1 and Interbellum period who gets into all sorts of ambiguous adventures across the globe.
It was referenced to in Frank Miller's Dark Knight, where there was an island named Corto Maltese that was in the news in-universe, because Miller loved the hell out of it. Same short wink of a reference in the first Tim Burton film.
The line work is quite original, and there are watercolor editions as well.
I believe that it's published in English by Euro Comics. It's also hugely popular in France, everything I read myself was from Casterman.

It wasn't the ingame MT's that initially pissed people off,the pre-order tiers did a lot of damage.
They were basically telling their customers, " Best bonus when considerable amount of pre-orders has been met "

*SMH* Why people keep forgetting that is beyond me.

BTW: www.onlysp.com/system-shock-3-character-class/ I really hope this will be a return to old school gaming form.

@RuVik the story and NPC's were either shit or non existent, unacceptable for a Deus ex game, nothing memorable or stand out about this game except for Golem and the OST, can't even remember when or where I stop trying to Finnish it, probably around the time after going through the Bank, it literally killed the franchise bc of how uninteresting it was

SmashStomp Inc I disagree I totally felt the story build to a climax and resolution, I played streathily so felt like a badass when using the kill switch. The final boss didn’t come out of nowhere he served his purpose throughout the story, I feel like people who played full out combat got frustrated with him because there weren’t other bosses like him so you expected more after completing it. Also most people that felt that way rushed through the game without exploring more environments in the hub cities. On paper, or if this game was a screenplay, it has a satisfying three act structure, it’s just so open ended that the way some people played felt unsatisfied while others that played like myself saw it as a masterpiece.

    • SmashStomp Inc
      SmashStomp Inc 3 months ago

@uhuhuh1966 the game reminds me of MGS5 Phantom Pain.. A absolutely awesome game with a third act that is either rushed or barebones.. I seriously wished both games had gotten more time to flesh it out, or had gotten a huge post release expansion.
