  • Malcolm McDonald on David Platt almost equalling his record for most goals in a game. In the game in 1993 against San Marino that ended 6-0, David Platt scored 4 and then missed a last minute penalty and the chance slipped to equal Malcolm's 5 goals against Cyprus in 1975. Malcolm talks about watching that game, as well as Gary Lineker incredibly nearly scoring 5 against Spain in 1987!

    i dont think so .............unless defoe is up front with rooney playing in behind then maybe.........and considering the oppostion we should really be scoring at least 10 but its england and it never happens....
