    This was nice to watch but what I had in mind was the Cinnamon buns from Horn & Hardart which have no icing but tons of raisins and caramel drizzle which becomes sticky in the oven. Yum!

    i made my icing thiccer by not adding any milk and then plopped it on top of each roll hot out of the oven and it melted beautifully and more rich and creamy

    this recipe is great, but to get to that cinnabon taste, I made my doe thinner by adding just a tad bit less BP, then i doubled the amount of filling, yes it was so messy and it wasn´t a uniform roll, but i cover it with frosting anyway. The added filling.......

    At 3:33 she said "with BREAD DOUGH wetter is better". Problem is the recipe calls for ALL-PURPOSE flour!!!. No wonder when I made it, it was really wet. I added a whole lot more than the recipe suggested. Be careful

      +Jason Elston i actually used AP Flour as per the recipe. AP flour doesnt absorb water as well as bread flour. So i ended up using more flour than recommended to get it to the non-sticky stage

      Yeah, bread flour will prevent that, but at the same time the rolls may come out the oven more crispier if you use bread flour

    This was my first attempt at the recipe and they were beautiful. The icing was perfectly sweet and they were super soft. And trust me, they do smell as good as it is exaggerated in the video! Amazing recipe❤️

    Short Question: what's the point of adding part of the flour later? I mean adding water later in a recipe makes sense, because ist easier to get strength into a dough with lower hydration. Couldn't you just incorporate all the flour at the start, then do a short "autolyse", which already makes it easier to mix, then knead and let sit for the first rise. After the first rise you could degas it and start rolling it out.
    Actually it's a quiet long question :D anyway would like to hear your thoughts on that :) great recipes and videos by the way. Thanks for the work.

    One thing to make the cream cheese frosting easier (because I found it pretty difficult with my bully hands/equipment) is to creme the cream cheese before the butter and milk are added. It just helps a little. Another thing I like to dois put my frosting in the fridge for a little bit so it firms up to spread it evenly

    A good tip for the frosting is, incorporate de ingredients a little (except for the powder sugar), and blend them together (maybe first the first half and then the other half. And finaly mix'em with the powder sugar.

    I made this recipe for my parents and siblings on Christmas Day (prepped the night before) and my family loved it. The only thing I would say is that you need to be way more liberal with the cinnamon paste on the dough, I wasn't and while they were great I now know to this for next time! I know this recipe seems like a lot of work, but it is genuinely fun to make and so delicious.
