I gotta say that this was one of the best interviews I've ever seen.

The best interview Bill O’Reilly ever did was a 3 part series with HOWARD STERN on Fox News. I hope Howard Stern the King of all Media will interview Bill O’Reilly cause Bill needs a mitzvah. Also Howard should have me, TonyMichaelLeeTML The Worlds Greatist Living Artist on the show. And I will paint Howard Live on the show exactly how I see him.... I have a dream then a vision, I see a giant buttocks and it’s real!!!

Has anyone realized that Trump speaks just like Howard? “Self proclaimed King if all media”, an arrogance of self, the candor, the pace, the center is all on me ... “huge” difference is that Howard despite his arrogance is also self deprecating and humorous and cannot make decisions that affect the whole world .. damn .. kind of tripping me out

I spent many happy years listening to Stern, then I spent a few years hating his show. Then he joined a shitty TV show, and I found Podcasts and never looked back. In fact the same could be said about Stephen. I am only watching because it was rec'd -- John RUINS this show, and Stephen was so GOOD before this. I guess this show (and Stern's) need to pay the bills and that means making Midwesterners chuckle. *sigh.

19:26 starts speaking about his regrets.
I actually still feel a resentment towards him about the awful comments he made when Selena was assassinated, about Mexican music and the way he treated Linda Ronstadt. Coincidently those three subjects are from Mexican origins, so go figure (cough cough racist).
That was to me like a triple homicide.
The guy was plain rude. How can you make such comments when a family is mourning their daughter and sister. And Linda Ronstadt has given so much musically to this nation that he should have been soooo respectful towards her.
Now, Saying that Mexican music was like garbage to him is just a plain hateful to say. Music is amazing no matter the origin. The fact that he hates an entire country’s music is just out of my understanding.
See, what makes me feel completely puzzled is the fact that he based his whole carrier thinking about making his depressive mother smile but he was a completely asshole to other people. It’s just a head scratch.
Where was the golden rule here?
I really wish he apologized to Linda and the Quintanilla family.

Howard Stern, outside the crazy stuff he does on his show, is by far the most humanistic person there is. It is truly a well deserved title that he is the 'king of all media'. Such a pure person.

It's great to hear Howard repent for targeting people for no reason but I hope he realizes the lasting damage he did for some. I can't believe the b.s. that some of the right wing crowd and others spew about Rosie O'Donnell, including a few of my own relatives. When I ask them what incident(s) cause them to hate her so much, I get stammering and mish-mash statements. They don't know her and they can't give examples of what she's done to draw such derision. The media they choose to consume told them to hate her and people like Howard Stern amplified it for fun and for his own ratings. He also seems to deftly sidestep the fact that having Trump on his show so often and allowing him to make insulting, immoral, ridiculous statements contributed to the development of what is now his base. I'm glad he refused to endorse him but I wonder if he understands the real moral decay that he facilitated in those interviews. He certainly is a good interviewer when he sets his mind to it. I've listened to a number of really insightful interviews he's done. But even with some new self-awareness, he seems always on the edge of goading the worst impulses in people. I wish him well as he works on self-confidence and self-acceptance. It brings out the best in him.

One of the best interviews ever. Howard Stern is just fascinating to listen to, one of the smartest people in the public eye. I used to think he was trash until I saw Private Parts and then grew to respect him tremendously. Like Katt Williams, Tupac Shakur, Russel Brand, and the creators of South Park, I had initially misjudged howard Stern at a glance based on other peoples perceptions I had heard without actually giving my full attention and then regretted that premature dismissal after hearing them speak first hand. I discovered there was more intelligence there than appearances let on and they all were pushing those stereotypical low bar buttons quite deliberately in order to challenge them. All of them have in common a few traits like the ability to question authority, the honesty to state things as they appear to be, if not as they truly are, while also being aware there is a difference between those two, and the ability and humility to turn that critical and analytical eye back on themselves as well as onto others. They all embrace the possibility they might be wrong. This is perhaps one of the biggest obstacles to wisdom people face, especially in the USA, and it is sometimes surprising to discover who you might learn from.
