it's so weird seeing you guys talking about how expensive it is, your expensive would be so cheap where I live (Brazil); our ticket costs $ 24 for kids and students, and $ 45 for adults, and the popcorn price is similar to the tickets price, it's so crazy to me that you pay like half of the kids/students ticket for the popcorn and the soda. of course there's a huge difference between our countries, how we are affected by certain things and stuff but this is still crazy to me edit: I don't know if you can do this but this is something my mom has done since I was a kid and many people have done these days, our Movie Theater is always located in a shopping mall so before the movie starts we buy snacks (like potato chips, chocolate bar, soda...) in a store in the shopping mall, some people also buy burgers and fries...; these things aren't cheap as well but surely a lot more cheap than the Movie theater popcorn haha, and it's totally ok to enter the movie theater with food bought out of it, so we do it a lot, but of course, some people still buy what the movie theater offers (and sorry for repeating some words so many times, my vocabulary is not that great)
The movie company gets 60% of ticket sales, and the theater still has to pay a rental fee. So the only way they can profit is through concessions. I was a manager of a movie theater for 5 years.
@carnivalmutt Yes it is a NY thing. I moved out of that state years ago and went to another state. So many places are cleaner, modern and well maintained especially movie theaters. Also the prices are less expensive and the popcorn is bigger.
@carnivalmutt yes I live in a small town in New York, and the only theater here just sells popcorn, drinks, and Walmart checkout candy. I thought that was how all theaters were lol
This is the average us small city theater these days. Only in ghost towns do you really ever find smaller ones because many got closed/remodeled during covid.
The theater looks like what they have in Texas and California actually. In such states they have the trays as well though in Texas there are some theaters that have a whole table in front of the seats. Yes, a whole table.
Neh in my country its 3bucks but in our currency its much money bro, with 3 bucks i can buy 3 set meal so yeah popcorn and drink always overprice in every country
There are two theaters in my city that both have trays, although they’re fixed to the chair. They still rotate around and such, and the chairs recline. The theaters are both really popular, so I hope the tray idea catches on (:
Those trays that fit into custom holders on tables and all seats, have been around in Mexico for a while, we've had them for ages in all movie theaters in Mexico, I'm pretty sure since the early 2000s, maybe 2002 or 2003, but it might also have to do with the corporativism of movie theater franchises and chains, which leads to companies competing, more money being used towards theaters (since huge companies own them) uniformity and standards being uphold. It seems like in the USA movie theaters are very outdated, more dirty, look older or without any updates and have less uniformity in regards of features they all have, while here in Mexico even old movie theaters are constantly updated, renovated or modifications being added to fit the company manuals. Something I noticed the times I've been to the USA is that there are many more small, locally owned movie theaters or movie theater chains while in Mexico, historically, there had been about 3 or 4 established including the two most prominent ones Cinépolis and Cineméx, which are still around and are more of a duopoly nowadays, even not very long ago, like in the mid-2000s there were many more chains like Multicinemas, Cinemas Gemelos, Cinemas Platinum, Cinebox, which were bought out or assimilated by other bigger companies, either that or they disappeared or reduced to almost nothing today.
When I was growing up here in Minnesota a few of the movie theaters I went to had things just like that but most of those trays have disappeared over time since a lot of the smaller theaters have gotten bought and out by larger companies like AMC
In england, we usually have trays attached to the chair that you can move in and out (to and from yourself). We also have a cinema company that has reclining chairs. Idk if that's common elsewhere but I think it's really cool lol
You get to watch anime movies in theatres that are “officially released in theatres”.. dude you don’t even have to tell us anything else about how cool those theatres are.
Nice to know popcorn is overpriced wherever you go. 😂 Also, when you watch movies from the US or something, is there an option to watch it dubbed in Japanese or is it in the original language?
Really depends where you live in the US but to say we don't have them here is incorrect. There are plenty of those theaters they are mostly in another state, a bit pricy or you go to old school theaters outside of a city.
Usually I just see like pretzels or nachos something in smaller theaters but like someone else said the bigger AMC theaters I've been to in the US have plenty of foods
Muvico used to have those type of trays with the cup holders. It actually had three, so you got a bonus two cup holders when you put it in. Also, I may move to manage a Japanese movie theater.
I've been to a cinema in Japan and everything was great until I was inside. Don't get me wrong. The thing that made it a slightly less good experience (?) was that I was watching the 3 hour long Avengers Endgame and we could NOT go out to pee cuz the doors were all closed. It was all good tho since everything else was rlly nice and there are merch and freebies they give you when you enter, so that redeemed it lol
It’s so interesting to see theatres that actually do stuff for the movies. Mine just says what movie it is. No cutouts or posters like ones I see many others go to.
The cinema near us did some massive changes and now every seat is a "luxury" one. Probably due to covid since the seats are pretty space apart now but they're all the fancy reclining leather ones (they can fold nearly flat like a bed) and they all have a tray table like thing for drinks and food. It's amazing.
I have one near me that has heated seats, and if you want to pay a little extra you can go to the 21+and have a drink while you're watching your movie.
Oh! We have em here in Northern Ireland, they're so gosh dang handy. They have a larger rectangular tray but same cup holder design, slips nicely into your chair arm
I lived in Japan for 15 years but then we had to move to take care of my grandparents and my parents jobs, one of the first things we did was go to the theater and I thought it was wayyy better then a Japanese one
100% agree. Japanese culture is so beautiful. I saw a couple that had built a traditional Japanese style apartment in the middle of the states. So amazing and transporting.
@Jared O. I know- i'm sorry if I made it seem like I was talking about the general cinepolis XD. didn't make myself clear enough, but I do prefer just the normal cinepolis over the VIP, it also seems more fun to just see people enjoy the movie has well, instead of being completely alone in the vip simply because a lot of people here are unable to afford it much or simply because of the same logic it's not worth the waste.
@Jared O. imo wouldn't say the cinepolis vip is worth that much to pay the extra money for- you may have a more "comfortable experience", but wey I feel like I got enough with the extremely overpriced cojones popcorns and icee or just fuze tea on the non vip, if I want to drink beer in mid of a movie I'm interested on and want to understand it's better I finish watching the movie then drink at home, vip just feels like I'm on an airplane, not a movie theater. but opinions are opinions-
weve had those trays in the Philippines for years plus u can order meals from participating restaurants as well they will bring it to your seat. plus we have bathrooms in all theaters inside the actual theater in the back and it has a speaker and screen so u dont miss out on the movie .
In my area, there are tables and recliners/love seats as chairs now. They even have waiters/servers to bring food to you, so there is almost no need for trays.
I worked in an AMC movie theater about 25 years ago and we had those cup holder trays. You just had to ask. Nowadays every theater has a spin out tv tray.
I love how overpriced popcorn over there is still cheaper than in theamerican theaters. I pay around 13 on average for a drink and popcorn. That's wild.
That is pretty darn cool that Trey and the cup holder I love it it's a great little invention then what do people do with the tray after the movie is done and over with they just leave them in the movie theater and they just come and collect them. Well that's just a great idea 🙏👌☺️👍

I have my own movie theater with an awesome concession stand! We love our privacy, enjoy watching current movies with family and friends! 🍿 hot 🌭 🍔 🥗 🍬
The girl working the counter when I went for the third movie was also a weeb and got us the bed seats, that shit was immaculate. Anime + huge ass bed +blankets + soda = perfection
"other than that it's just like every other movie theatre" *Proceeds to go through a restaurant menu* Bro the best I can get at my local theatre is a damn corn dog and Reese's pieces...and that'll be $10 👌 movie theatres need to chill with the extreme prices though, it's just dumb
That’s a cool last name. Is that your real name? When did you write that you’d start your channel soon in your channel description? I’m asking because I always see people write something similar in their channel descriptions, and they have no videos.
The reason we don't have this in the US is simple. Most people sneak their snacks in, and then there's the idiots who would try stealing them from the theater. Also us Americans have a tendency to, how do you say, disrespect your surroundings
@John Grisham It's the same way in these big office buildings. I use to clean them a while back and I quit when I seen someone crap on the floor IN THE STALL! And that was in the WOMENS bathroom 😳 I quit that day,
@UC0LEpg_2cVLGQP44StuBvHQ idk why you said "white teenagers" when literally tons of teenagers do this regardless of race. And honestly that's disgusting, I hope this people got arrested but honestly idk how people can act like that.
Literally where do you guess go? I've lived in 4 different states and have never seen anything like you guys describe. Except for a bunch of teenagers destroying a graveyard Literally nothing like the stuff you've seen.
Omg if a cup holder is an advanced technology then as an Indian living in a small town with a single multiplex having this kind of features. Cup holder Food court with an expensive popcorn 🍿 Nuggets French fries 🍟 Ice cream 🍨 stall with lot of verities Cool Drink dispenser 100% hygiene Foot stroke light steps And also with Dolby Satellite 🛰️ Projected screen With recliner seating 😍🤤 Imagine this experience being a small town person feel happy with enough things like Japan And I love Japan ❤️from Indian
Alamo Drafthouse one ups all movie theaters recently in the US though with their legitimately amazing food and drinks on little tables at each seat! I had the best chicken sandwich there, and they’ll do special brunches with French toast or egg sandwiches. Also have had really good pickle fries recently! And of course amazing drinks! I wish these would be everywhere!
I'm surprised yall dont have trays in your seats already. at the theater me and my family goes to, theres a mini table/tray with a cup holder on the chair. it works exactly like the trays in this vid, except you can't take it off.
The theater I work at has trays, typically we only use them for big food orders (you can keep them until your movie is done) but we give em to you if you ask! Popcorn is expensive because it's actually the main product we sell! More so than tickets! (We're actually considered an agricultural business cause our main product is seed) You get free refills on certain sizes. So it seems a lot more expensive if you don't get a refill but it's not if you take advantage of it!
The states have that in the form of a little table built into the cup holder that you can swivel in and out however it’s usually only imax movie theaters
Its so interesting how this is a feature all over the world except in the states we have those But bigger in Mexico! They fit 3 drinks and a bunch of stuff But they literally dont exist on the us for literally no reason
Here in the netherlands we have moving seats which can transform into a sort of “bed” (it moves the legs up and head and backrest down) and it has a small table you can put in front of yourself to put the snacks on.
Even know it seems those trays are all over the world I still think those trays make more sense in Japan. With Popcorn and Chips you can rest it beside you but with Food like Nuggets and Hot Dogs you wouldn't want to rest it beside you or on your lap just in case it falls
There are actually places in America called CinaBars and you can have full service meals and drinks during the movie. Plus recliner type seats. One is in my home town at the mall.
To be very honest everything is cool in Japan, Though I haven't been there yet I can see from it's history and present days that it's a cool country to visit.
I don’t know about other American movie theaters, but the one I go to has something like those trays too. Only difference is you bring all your snacks to your seat, and the tray is already attached to the cup holder. The seats also recline as well.
I mean there's also a few theaters on the states where there's dine in theaters. Where you go, order food, and go to your seats. The seats are able to recline, and you have feet rests too. Then you have a table, and once the staff is finished with your food, they come in and place it on your table.
I guess it depends how you look at it, movies in the states (atleast where I live) have caterers that will take your order before the movie starts aswell as serve you as the movie starts serving gourmet dishes or regular dishes along with popcorn and possibly even pizza. Innovation is just perception
The theaters I go to have trays attached to the seats that swivel and the cup holders are in the arms of the seats (most seats recline and have a foot rest, some even have a heat option)
For some reason all of the movie theatre chains in the US went from nice to utter abominations recently, and independent theaters are closing constantly
So you need to go to a megaplex. They have the same type of stuff( the cup holder tray). Not the same menu though. That would be awesome. 😊 hope your experience was a good one.
I have two of the little books they gave out for World Heroes Mission, the theater attendant handed me one and I didn't know how to tell him that I already had one from the previous time I went.
Trays are like that in Mexico. The shape is a square because it has space for two drinks, and you can fit it in the cupholders, really comfortable to share :) Also we have Takis Fuego popcorn which is 🥵🥵🥵🥵
Lol wut, even McDonalds has plastic serving trays. That kind of thick plastic is extremely durable, it's the same stuff they make those little kid foot pedal cars out of. It's tough stuff. It'll gets scratched up over time, but it's next to impossible to crack or chip. People generally don't steal them because they're so big and awkward to sneak out, and theres nothing really cool/interesting/useful about them to justify the effort. It's not like many people have an abundance of cupholders at home, it's basically useless outside of a theater. It's the same reason plastic shopping baskets rarely get stolen at stores. People theoretically could if they wanted to, but other than kids looking for a low effort thrill, there's really no reason why anybody would.
I live in Illinois and 2 local chains have these and they're doing just fine. They even serve me pizza to my seat, with this tray so I don't have to miss out on any of the movie. They even have a bar in one of them. Stop thinking that a whole country is shitty based on stereotypes.
wait i need to try this butter soy sauce popcorn
Ey youtube
Sounds good!
No way…
HUH???
helo youtube did you get the butter soy sauce popcorn
It's so funny that expensive popcorn is a thing we share in our cultures.
it's so weird seeing you guys talking about how expensive it is, your expensive would be so cheap where I live (Brazil); our ticket costs $ 24 for kids and students, and $ 45 for adults, and the popcorn price is similar to the tickets price, it's so crazy to me that you pay like half of the kids/students ticket for the popcorn and the soda. of course there's a huge difference between our countries, how we are affected by certain things and stuff but this is still crazy to me

@tygonmaster even so Japan creativity is in their culture which us can't match
Yeah, a lot of countries outside the West are Westernized for obvious reasons. Though the West itself is starting to become more globalized.
The movie company gets 60% of ticket sales, and the theater still has to pay a rental fee. So the only way they can profit is through concessions. I was a manager of a movie theater for 5 years.
but it tastes way better than the one you’d make at home, somehow..
“It looks just like any other movie theater”
Proceeds to show the most amazing movie theater I’ve ever seen
@carnivalmutt Yes it is a NY thing. I moved out of that state years ago and went to another state. So many places are cleaner, modern and well maintained especially movie theaters. Also the prices are less expensive and the popcorn is bigger.
@carnivalmutt yes I live in a small town in New York, and the only theater here just sells popcorn, drinks, and Walmart checkout candy. I thought that was how all theaters were lol
@XrayTheMyth23 I mean not really. All the ones I’ve been too aren’t much like this one. Maybe it’s a New York thing to have shitty theaters?🤷♂️
This is the average us small city theater these days. Only in ghost towns do you really ever find smaller ones because many got closed/remodeled during covid.
"Here's the reason Japanese movie theaters are cool"
My mind: "Everything that's Japanese is cool..."
The theater looks like what they have in Texas and California actually. In such states they have the trays as well though in Texas there are some theaters that have a whole table in front of the seats. Yes, a whole table.
@IAmKSands BatChest I FLIPPIN LOVE JAPAN
@seemsgood Yeah working 12+ hours per day is surely cool
Yes, working there surely is cool too.
BatChest
“$7 popcorn and drink set”
That’s overpriced? A popcorn and drink set is like $25 in the US lol
Neh in my country its 3bucks but in our currency its much money bro, with 3 bucks i can buy 3 set meal so yeah popcorn and drink always overprice in every country
in the bay area would be like $25 with some snacks. in alaska and hawaii prob even more
5-6 bucks in india
Where I’m the mf u.s???
Have you seen the size of Japanese popcorn? Because that's what makes it different. Also the ticket prices are crazy expensive in Japan.
We have those trays in Peru for years now. Would love to have that seaweed popcorn 🙂
@Bosco Pappas terrible joke
@Bosco Pappas I don’t think so
They sell cocaine in the snack bar at the theaters in Peru as well !
That moment when Peru is ahead of Australia
This tray style has been in use at the theater by my house in CT for at least 15 years, maybe longer.
The tray idea is so genius I'm surprised it hasn't caught on elsewhere
We have those in some theatres in India
@Stefan Drakulovic Most of the US isn't NY. Moved out many years ago and quality of life got better that's for sure
It's very common think in India to have these trays
Here in Texas we get whole tables so yeah
It has, I have been seeing them for years. Didn't know it was that surprising to people.
There are two theaters in my city that both have trays, although they’re fixed to the chair. They still rotate around and such, and the chairs recline. The theaters are both really popular, so I hope the tray idea catches on (:

There's actually a theater nearby in my area that has a little table already, and you can recline the chair and the seats are heatwarmers. Very fancy.
I friggin love Japan. I always wanted to go, I hope one day it will be possible.
Those trays we have here in the Netherlands as well
@Concept Creator bot
@jet pectyl yep, typical American
Just wanted to comment that lmfao
I wish America isn’t far behind but sadly we are last place in everything
@Donja 💀
When I was growing up here in Minnesota a few of the movie theaters I went to had things just like that but most of those trays have disappeared over time since a lot of the smaller theaters have gotten bought and out by larger companies like AMC

🤣🤣🤣
It sucks to not be able to enjoy a good movie because of those seats. I hope you'll find a movie theater with velvet seats. 🙏
@Kat
In my country, we only have velvet and the seats are clean. 🤷♀️
@shizukagozen777 its probably leather so they can sanitize the seats better. If it was velvet, then they'd get pretty dirty real quick
We have the same here in Austria!
I have one near me that has heated seats, and if you want to pay a little extra you can go to the 21+and have a drink while you're watching your movie.
I went to a theater in Kyoto back in 2019, it was a pretty cool experience. They have a LOT more previews than American movies though I noticed!

The movie theater by me has had those for years. I'm surprised this wasn't a thing everyone knew about already
We've had this in Mexico for years, actually that one cinema franchise has spread internationally like crazy for the last decade.
@Jared O. I know- i'm sorry if I made it seem like I was talking about the general cinepolis XD.

but opinions are opinions-
@Phoenix yeah but that's VIP wey
We do have those trays though
We have waiters in Mexico theaters and you can order beer and drinks to your seat, even through an online app...
I want to go to Japan just to try this kind of thing 😂
weve had those trays in the Philippines for years plus u can order meals from participating restaurants as well they will bring it to your seat. plus we have bathrooms in all theaters inside the actual theater in the back and it has a speaker and screen so u dont miss out on the movie .
We have those trays all over here in the Midwest. Just need the My hero academia to feature here and we set

I remember popcorn being the cheap stuff when I was a kid. It was everything else like the m&m's and milk duds that broke the piggy bank.
A lot of the movie theaters in my state have swinging tables on them and they bring the food to you. It's like a restaurant
We have those cupholder things in theaters here in the Philippines! They're pretty cool ngl, I thought all theaters had those though??
@Mazaga damn, haven't encountered one of those when I last watched a movie in a cinema
@Box Lunch Especially in San Francisco.
@mochibunnyanyou don't know karens.
Mine in Canada don't, and if they do, you have to pay extra to get it like a kids or party combo
Wish I had these-
me too! We have them in Peru, maybe in all Latin America, lol
Some movie theaters are actually starting to integrate things like that here in the states!
"This theater looks like any other theater" .. then proceeds to tell us all the things that make it different lol.

You can get corn dogs at your movie theatre. What type of opulent movie theatre are you complaining about?
In Ireland we actually have those seats where you can put your tray down so you don’t have to hold it! It’s super useful
That’s a cool last name. Is that your real name? When did you write that you’d start your channel soon in your channel description? I’m asking because I always see people write something similar in their channel descriptions, and they have no videos.

Literally where do you guess go? I've lived in 4 different states and have never seen anything like you guys describe. Except for a bunch of teenagers destroying a graveyard Literally nothing like the stuff you've seen.
@Berzerk Bankie the theaters near me have sticky floors and small, uncomfortable seats.
Omg if a cup holder is an advanced technology then as an Indian living in a small town with a single multiplex having this kind of features.
Cup holder
Food court with an expensive popcorn 🍿
Nuggets
French fries 🍟
Ice cream 🍨 stall with lot of verities
Cool Drink dispenser 100% hygiene
Foot stroke light steps
And also with Dolby Satellite 🛰️
Projected screen
With recliner seating 😍🤤
Imagine this experience being a small town person feel happy with enough things like Japan
And I love Japan ❤️from Indian
We’ve had built in trays in Texas for years, as well as seats that recline
i feel like i would love these plates, but my anxiety about them breaking and making everything out of it just falll is a nightmare
I love how many comments are there about the trays. Man, we have those in Mexico 🇲🇽 😆
that's what i was coming here to say, we've had those for years here in Mexico too
We have that tray in a local theater by me actually, it's much larger so it holds more things
I'm surprised yall dont have trays in your seats already. at the theater me and my family goes to, theres a mini table/tray with a cup holder on the chair. it works exactly like the trays in this vid, except you can't take it off.
I’m so jealous the movie your watching, the food, the extra 😩
Surprisingly enough, our local theater does this too! Wish we had the cool flavors tho.
Its so interesting how this is a feature all over the world except in the states
we have those But bigger in Mexico!
They fit 3 drinks and a bunch of stuff
But they literally dont exist on the us for literally no reason
This makes me wanna cry im jealous of how nice it looks
That cup holder thing is in the states at least in my area. I hope your theaters back home get them soon!
@Joshua Smith yeah Utah #1
@Joshua Smith indeed we do
@ShotasPOV got ‘em in utah too
Honestly we have reclining seats in the theaters back at home in LA but they don’t have them in Japan, I was so shocked
The cinemas in the country my dad was born is like: "Oh you have a full course meal in your hands and you're gonna take it into the cinema?Go ahead."
Japan has once again proved it is two steps ahead of the rest of the world 🇯🇵🇯🇵🇯🇵
Here in the netherlands we have moving seats which can transform into a sort of “bed” (it moves the legs up and head and backrest down) and it has a small table you can put in front of yourself to put the snacks on.
We have the trays thing in Mexico I thought it was an idea from the USA, I guess not. Cool🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽🤟🏽
The fact that this man has the balls to use his flash in the theatre
Chicago has almost the exact same style of tray! It really is a gamechanger to not have to lay out an unfolded napkin in your lap.

To be very honest everything is cool in Japan, Though I haven't been there yet I can see from it's history and present days that it's a cool country to visit.
except the humidity and the bugs
Especially their slums.
Just be prepared for the temperature there, when i went there i felt like i got put to antartica instead
We do have theses in the states just not in all theaters.
I find these in a live theater….
Stage theater 🎭
Love the popcorn seasoning choices!
We do have those tray over here in USA. I got one at the Emagine theater.
I don’t know about other American movie theaters, but the one I go to has something like those trays too. Only difference is you bring all your snacks to your seat, and the tray is already attached to the cup holder. The seats also recline as well.
What?! I'm from Mexico and have had this for decades. I'm too surprised to know that this is not a standard everywhere.
"Inside it looks like any other movie theater..."
Me, never went to a movie theater : ???
i hope you get to go one day! :]
i can see why, coz my first ever theater experience was at 9th grade
how
Wtf
Why
“In the theater is like any other movie theater”
Me in Switzerland
Concession stand guy: would u like Popcorn or m&m’s
Me: wHaT U MeAn?! -_-
I mean there's also a few theaters on the states where there's dine in theaters. Where you go, order food, and go to your seats. The seats are able to recline, and you have feet rests too. Then you have a table, and once the staff is finished with your food, they come in and place it on your table.
I really love Japanese they definitely live in the future they deserve a praise

Japan is that one nation in Civ 5 that just maxes out its culture and tech
It's culture and society is not modern or "maxed out." It's stuck in the past and intolerance is everywhere. It doesn't deserve that compliment.
I guess it depends how you look at it, movies in the states (atleast where I live) have caterers that will take your order before the movie starts aswell as serve you as the movie starts serving gourmet dishes or regular dishes along with popcorn and possibly even pizza. Innovation is just perception
@Sam Wallace Very unrelated but ok
@Alexa Echo And their economy hasn't grown in 30 years
lmfao except in society. they still stuck in 1800 lmfao
I need that cup holder tray to take to the movies 😂
The theaters I go to have trays attached to the seats that swivel and the cup holders are in the arms of the seats (most seats recline and have a foot rest, some even have a heat option)
THEY WENT PREMIERE WEEKEND! I have the special book to! It’s really cool
For some reason all of the movie theatre chains in the US went from nice to utter abominations recently, and independent theaters are closing constantly
The theater near me has those built into the seats they also have a call button for service
Over priced popcorn: is legitimatly one of the cheapest items shown being about 4 dollars
So you need to go to a megaplex. They have the same type of stuff( the cup holder tray). Not the same menu though. That would be awesome. 😊 hope your experience was a good one.
We have those trays in the states. I see them in almost every theater I’ve been to here in U.S
I have two of the little books they gave out for World Heroes Mission, the theater attendant handed me one and I didn't know how to tell him that I already had one from the previous time I went.
Trays are like that in Mexico. The shape is a square because it has space for two drinks, and you can fit it in the cupholders, really comfortable to share :)
Also we have Takis Fuego popcorn which is 🥵🥵🥵🥵
Ive seen those trays in a few theaters here in the philippines, i agree it is pretty cool
The prices for those small ass popcorn is crazy tho. When I moved to Germany I was so surprised when I was only able to eat half of it...
It can’t be implemented in the states, the condition of those trays after 1 session would make the whole enterprise financially untenable
Why? I must ask. I live in a developing country and have had these type of trays for over 20 years without issue.
Or they give you the tray and you leave a deposit. When you return the tray, you get your money back.
