Some southern women do still call their dad's daddy. It's true. Some stuff you missed about this movie though that was really dumb; Evacuating people after the hurricane is already starting to make landfall. And the really dumb one, helicopters flying in freakin cat 5 hurricane and doing a rescue also during a cat 5 hurricane. The first thing they tell you when a major hurricane is about to make landfall is no one will help you until the storm has passed so you're on your own. But to be fair the director is french and the two writers are british so they probably didn't know better.

So, I don't usually make suggestions for you Tamara, but if I may (and you actually see this comment), I really would love to see your thoughts (and/or a video, if it's one you've never seen) on "What Dreams May Come". It's a 1998 film starring Robin Williams.
I just re-watched it for the first time in years, and had forgotten how much I love the film.

We don't have Gators like that in Florida, maybe if you live out in sticks or near some golf course with big ass canal behind it but around S.FL the Iguanas are worst. Not that they might bite you but they climb trees and shit all over your car. Been here the majority of my life. Love you videos. Good stuff 👍🏽

I would've hope that this movie would be better than it was. I did had doubts back in May before its release. My doubts were correct.
The only crocdilion films I like is Lake Placid, Rogue, and Black Water.

So I know this doesnt have anything to do with the movie Tamara just saw, but this message goes out to Doug Walker, I know you gave your view on the new duck tales series when It first came out, but just recently in this new season, they finally introduced darkwing duck into the show(and not just in tv show clips placed throughout the episodes). With how things went down in the episode, theirs a good chance of a new darkwing duck show in the works with this being his origin story(along with another character, I won’t say who, but let’s just say Jim Cummings is back) I would love to see you give your take and thoughts on this especially since I think you were a fan back when this was on during the Disney afternoon era. Hope you get this and hope to see a video soon

A 2010 movie called 'Burning Bright' is another storm movie in Florida where a sister and brother get trapped in a house with a hungry tiger. I choose to believe 'Crawl' and that movie share a cinematic universe.

I actually really loved this movie, though I guess I have some biases. Like Man vs Nature survival horror is my favorite genre, and the fact that I live in Florida. The concept is extraordinarily plausible (though with much less aggressive gators.) In fact it's happened before. After/during a hurricane people sit on the roofs of their houses, and the watery wild life becomes a very real threat.
I was personally surprised on how well they made the gators. Not the CGI, but the way they move, hunt, bite. There was no chewing and crunching, the gators bit down and rolled to tear off pieces of flesh.
I was also happy when I grew an attachment to the characters over a short period of time. I legit wanted them to live, which built up a lot of tension. And they managed to do that with giving very little backstory. We're kept in the moment, and I loved every second.

    (Spoilers below Read More)
I just saw this movie. Its nothing special, but also nothing horrible. ...However
If you have ever been in a category 5 hurricane, you will find SO MANY mistakes in this movie! Ive lived in Florida all my life, been through a few hurricanes including recently Irma. My mother and I were laughing our asses off at the absurdity in some parts.
    Also HELLO!

She is mauled not once, not twice but THREE TIMES by a HUGE gator, once being in the leg and shaken for at least a minute, and she can just walk it off? OH OK COOL! How did that not completely mangle her leg or break it? She was then bitten on the arm all the way to the shoulder, still has perfect function of it once she is free and can swim just fine. THEN bitten on the shoulder and death rolled underwater, and STILL gets away! This woman needs to join the Avengers, cause she is a legendary super hero! The father also is bitten horribly bad, bleeding terribly, and is fine. His leg has a compound fracture with the bone sticking out, and he can still walk / hobble on it pretty damn great, and then his arm is bitten off and you are telling me his body is not in total shock and bleeding out?!
I'm not even going to talk about the hurricane mistakes (One being there is no lightning during a hurricane. That's one... one, mistake. There are many more).
If you just want a horror / thriller with monstrous animal mayhem, this will do just fine. If you are from Florida and have been in a category 5 hurricane and know at least some basic knowledge about alligators, go see this movie, its a laugh riot. Im getting the dvd for sure to relive all the amazing terrible mistakes.

....also at one point they literally just use The Purge siren as a hurricane siren. So, there is that.

Will never go see this movie, there's just a few categories I refuse to watch in horror flicks, gore and torture porn... Can I just take a minute for a second, if you reading this like torture porn you're probably a monster... It takes a monster who's mind is corrupt and at any moment about to snap to enjoy watching human beings be punished in the most horrific ways possible and be okay with all that. Sorry I got carried away... Either that or they're Trump supporters which I can't tell which is worse. Anyways a horror movie were you're in water most of the time... Out of you're element and conditions where you're probably not gonna win, cause we're not made for water driven survival. Love you reviews

Seriously with the "Daddy" thing? Jesus Christ... perhaps some treatment for SJW paranoia is in order? As Freud said: sometimes a cigar is just a cigar... and Oscar Wilde said: "Those who find ugly meanings in beautiful things are corrupt without being charming. This is a fault"
