I noticed you said METAPATH in one of these right before trains :)
That was really moving for me to notice you use that word.
We (Delvin and I, etc) have gone way into the word meta over the years and metapath is a great one we've had often. I feel completely touched that you said it, and it was beautiful.... *
Thank you. This whole entire documentary is definitely the METACINE

I love the tour through the history of our country, even though it is bittersweet. The shells of once bustling towns are a fascinating reminder of our own limits and how everything succumbs to time. Thank you for creating these vignettes.

    Dear Mr. Corgan,
This 30 Days project is the best thing I have seen in a loooooong time. It was a real treat! It is a true joy to just sit back and watch someone enjoy themselves, and listen to the insights they have. Thank you dearly for sharing this.
I have been an SP fan since Mellon Collie, and, as great as music is, it is only 1 dimension of life. That is not to say it is one dimensional, but that it is only one small part of life, and there is only so much in the grand scheme that can be communicated through it. As a long time fan, this project delivered an experience far beyond what could be communicated through an album. Even though as a Canadian some of the cultural significance of some of the places you stopped by was lost on me, I was still hanging on every moment. There was a depth to this project that is so rarely achieved in media these days. It is a shame that the radio announcer in the beginning of this project was just so utterly clueless on the significance of your trip. I hope he eventually comes to a realization and gets to enjoy what he had missed.
I am glad you started a family, and you all look happy. It was a privilege to get to see you all. I hope you get to do whichever projects you want to do moving forward, but either way: keep having fun and enjoy yourself :)

Take care, and have fun :)

I'm not sure I understand Billy's fervent patriotism, but what a talent! The man is now, and always has been, in another realm with his music. Self doubt is the only thing that could bring the Pumpkins down.

Maybe someday you'll get up to the northeast, there's a few towns and communities that are still hanging on to core parts of the Americans philosophy...with some exceptions of course. I live near a town called Essex, in Mass, and I think William would enjoy the vibe. Lots of antique dealers, new meets old. Good stuff

I miss these simple times. I feel like life is passing by too quickly. I was a young adult in the '90s and music was a way of life. I almost wish things could go backward. Music has changed drastically and I miss simplicity in musical art form. just an instrument and a voice. I admire anyone , whether they are famous or not, that picks up, leaves it all behind to see the organic beauty of open roads. it seems liberating and I live vicariously through these videos. it's not my time yet. I thoroughly enjoyed your trek through Texas, as I'm a proud Texan now living in the midwest. Lots of hidden jewels in there. I'm a long time fan of your work and talent, was brought here by Adam the woo. so glad for that!

The Smashing Pumpkins/Billy Thank you so much for replying! I am glad it was recommended to you. It is now on my list of places to visit. Having the music play through the loud speaker, mixed with the colors of the buildings really made the town seem classic, yet a bit creepy if that makes sense. Is that the vibe you felt when you were there?

    Mr. Corgan:
There is no substitute for the visceral experience and the emotional nexus that is bequeathed to all who travel the roads less taken in our beautiful country - America.
Your mission afforded this senior citizen a rare opportunity to be young once more and to briefly journey into the days gone by. Your momentary sojourn from today’s chaos provided reminiscence of simpler days and less vexing times.
Since my childhood years of traversing the Mother Road, many faces have changed and some have vanished forever. Yesterday’s meandering roads of seemingly never-ending adventure have sadly transformed into expeditious linear highways; where learning and experience is bartered for the saving of time.
There is still much for you to learn from this brief experience, but I’m sure you are already aware.

I hope to be around to see your 50th birthday trek from Chicago to Los Angeles via private car railroad. Perhaps that mode of travel may be a bit too linear for your needs. However, it will definitely allow you more time to reflect and define yourself in poetry and song.

    With kind regards,
    Phoenix, AZ USA

I'm really sad this journey is over. and i'm not even a big fan of your music, i have to admit. i enjoyed it back in the early 90's but haven't listened to you since then. but i was subscribed to this channel and when i saw the thumbnails saying 30days i got curious and i loved it from the first second, watched it everyday, re watched it about halfway through, and now i'm sad it's over.
also, i think it was me who got rid of this one douche who kept writing shit about you under every video in the first week or so, so...you're welcome :) haha, just kidding, i just remembered him and he was so annoying!
anyway, i love your country, the land, the architecture, the people(some of them...), it's so photogenic....i travelled through this gorgeous land quite a bit myself, a long time ago though....
so, thank you mr. Billy Corgan for taking us along your trip this past month, it really was a pleasure, hope EC3 isn't too mad at you for some of the comparisons and i'll be looking out for your next travel blog, by train? sounds awesome!

Oh wow, Billy Corgan? is it you? that's so cool, haha! i'd have to look up which one it was, but when you were inside of this war memorial in maybe mississippi and sang the words that were written on the wall there, that was pure magic. i left a comment underneath that video about how i'd like to play an improvised concert in there, it just sounded so perfect :) vibraphone, some strings and brass....guitar of course, what do you think about that? you in? hehe...i'm eating my dinner right now, but i'll get back to you with my other favorite episodes!

I loved everything Billy. I watched everyday. Every video Gave me hope & inspiration from my hero. You once said "I'm no legend, your favorite band is legend and in humility I accept this award because I've never been afraid to push your buttons." Well your my legend and guitar hero. You pushed everyones buttons this last 30 days and truly inspired me to stop in the small towns and scroll through old antiques, explore, and find the history where many would just pass by. I was at the amitabha peace park like 2 weeks earlier so it was cool to see my hero somewhere where my lady & I were walking 2 weeks prior to you being there, and we laughed our asses off because we'd never been there and its not exactly clearly labeled when you get to the road where you park & get out. That was my favorite episode because sometimes "you gotta go big or go Sedona!!!
