"and i have visitation rights.. mommy doesn't know but its IN the contract" i love this woman.. so glad that there are people like her

  • TheAtarilynx

This is probably the most inspirational of all The Dodo videos, and that's saying a lot. Someone who saves her own life and finds purpose in saving dogs lives... And does it with humor and heartfelt emotion. A double whammy 😊

Gets a 52 year old man all chocked up lol! This woman saved 2 lives and I'm so proud of her! Love this video!

OMG, he is the cutest pit I have ever seen. I love this breed. I have been a volunteer at the shelter for 16 years and this is where I learned to love this breed. There was a little pit girl who had been used for breeding and then as a bate dog. Her ears had been cut off and she had scares all over her body. Everyone was afraid of her. I started talking to her and went inside her kennel and sat down with her. I then took her outside to run in the run areas and she was like a puppy again playing with the dog in the other kennel. I fell in love with her right there. She then stopped and came over to me and put her head on my chest and snuggled. I teared up. The other volunteers saw this and they all fell apart and realized that this breed just wants love and to give love. I put a big soft quilt with a toy and kong full of peanut butter in her kennel and when I walked around the corner to check on her again, she had her little head laying on the soft toy. I will never forget this little girl. This breed is so misunderstood.

This girl (foster mom) seems like she’d be a great friend to anyone. Awesome person.

Adopting not only a elderly dog but an handicapped one, these people are truly amazing

As an alcoholic myself, I love this woman. So inspirational. I'm so glad she found her calling. And I totally agree that we find our humanity through animals. I don't trust people who hate animals, they tend to be cruel.

  • Mitch McCarron

You had me at "One day I woke up and crawled out of a bottle". It gives me hope to do the same before it's too late. God bless you! Mitch from Australia.

So refreshing hearing people be honest about where they've came from.

This woman is a lovely, lovely human being. To go from fear of dogs to fostering 63 dogs. Amazing. Just amazing. I cried so many tears during this video.

"He sees you as his parents" but in reality it is us, humans, who see these perfect creatures like our children!

I've loved this extended video of Chimbey! Out of all the hundreds of rescue videos watched, he's been so near and dear to my heart. What a lucky boy, and what a lucky family. Chimbey, you are what is right in this world, and we are better for having known you. 💗
