2 nothing cards yes thank you disappoint the Cubs cards are a better team then the brewers

  • Brendan Chwascinski

I'm sure hes very excited cards need to find a way to deal with yelich walk him if it comes to that but if there's 2 people on base don't risk anything in this time of year yelich scares me more then the Cubs actually.nl Cubs scare the cards they are worried about the Brewers because of yelich

The reds are frittering away their chances at a playoff run. Either you guys get it together real quick, or be satisfied with another mediocre year and nothing to be excited for at the end of the year!!

These are excellent highlight videos. Showing the Suarez error, the liner that was just foul in the 7th, Guasmans 6 k's. Commonly, you only get the extreme high points in the game. These give a really good insight into the entirety of the game.
    Thanks!
Also, man...Suarez had a tough go after the 1st inning HR.

KABOOM ! A HUGE victory on this Sunday afternoon for the greatest team in the league. Never A Doubt, ladies and gentlemen. Paul Edward Goldschmidt and Thomas Hyunsu Edman got the offense rolling to start, both with OUTSTANDING bombs that landed on the Ohio state line. Just thinking about those two being first-time World Series champions this October gives me GOOSEBUMPS ! Amazing plate discipline from Lane Michael Thomas and Marcell OZUUUUUUUUUNAAAAAA Idelfonso as well, two other young studs that will be hoisting the trophy for the first time ever this fall. Cap'n Jack Rafe Flaherty ... Cardinals Nation, what can you say that hasn't already been said about the 23-year-old from California. An absolutely FILTHY day on the mound for him, as he has found his command this season. He can be the greatest pitcher in the league in no time. The bullpen was solid, too, in the triumph. Now it's time to return home to the greatest ballpark in the world for a CRUCIAL division series, where we will SWEEP those Brewers and CONTINUE to hold onto that NL Central lead. Time To Fly!!!

Randy Yoder exactly! I love hitting like that and it bums me out that it’s getting phased out of the game.
He’s pretty amazing with the glove as well.

I like Iglesias. He's one of those guys you love because he makes deliberate base hits consistantly that you badly need to keep the offense going. Makes well placed hits and doesn't get caught up in the juvenile spirit of trying to knock a home run every at bat. Just a good hitter to keep things going and avoid the out. That's SO important!!!

    • mike west
      mike west Month ago

Matt James I didn’t mean to leave out their bats. That’s the best thing this team has going for them. Suarez, Aquino, Votto (if he can get back to hitting at a high level) will make the middle of their lineup extremely dangerous. Iglesias is another good player on offense and defense. Tucker Barnhart has a sweet swing, but his numbers are pretty low this year. He’s still great defensively. I’d like to see the Reds make some noise in the near future.

@mike west reds are hard offensively they have been last few years don't count their offense out

    • mike west

Hoosier Nation1 I’m a Cardinals fan, but I absolutely love watching Aquino swing the bat. The Reds will be a playoff team next season if they don’t make it this season. Castillo, Bauer and Gray are gonna make a dangerous rotation. I forget the closers name, but he’s solid as well. Lorenzen is a great set up man. If they can just get Votto swinging the bat, with Suarez, Votto and Aquino, that makes a dangerous middle of the order.
I hope the Reds give the people in Cincy some deep playoff runs. If it can’t be my Birds, I would want it to be the Reds winning the central.

Lol Suarez single handedly lost the Reds this game.

Card for World Series lol what? He made an error which resulted in a run, and he failed to come through in clutch situations, including swinging at a bad pitch which cause an inning ending double play. Obviously it wasn’t just him who lost the game, but he was a big part in that loss

@Card for World Series Of course I'm a real Cardinals fan. Stayed up till 1-2am watching game 6 of the the 2011 World Series where we were down 2 runs and 1 strike away from losing the World Series in both the bottom of the 9th and 10th innings. Was crossing my fingers with every pitch the rangers threw at us! Yet David Freese and Lance Berkman both made the most clutch hits of their careers to keep us in that game. That game was a true MIRACLE and it is still worshipped around St. Louis. Miracles only happen once in a lifetime though. You know how many batters in our lineup back in 2011 were hitting .290-.300? 7 players! You know how many players we have in our lineup today are hitting that average? NONE. You know how many of our starting pitchers had ERA's under 4.00 back in 2011? 4 of our 5 starters. How many of our starters today are doing that? 2. There was a lot of luck that went in to winning that 2011 World Series but we also had a phenomenal team that could compete with any team in the MLB. I wish the best for the Cardinals and I support them in every way. But lets focus on making it to the playoffs for the first time in 4 YEARS.... before we start focusing on winning a World Series.
