Update: Google has confirmed to me that the Pixel 7 will in fact NOT be soft touch glass, despite previously telling us all that it would be 🙃
Thanks for letting us know. I wonder if the great people at dbrand might be able to do a frosted glass vinyl cover?
F, I'm still probably going to be looking at it since right now I've been using a OnePlus 7 pro for a while, so i thought it would be cool to switch to another phone that just so happens to be a 7 pro too haha. But the kind of soft matte glass on the OnePlus 7 pro is definitely a feature which has really grown on me, so a little disappointed that it hasn't been used as much by many companies since then.
Ah bro that was actually gonna be one of the selling points for me because it sounds nice.
I'm this close to not being a Pixel user after 6 years. I keep giving them the benefit of the doubt but my Pixel 6 Pro is very underwhelming and buggy
@Frank Liu nxx
MKBHD's clock pointing to 7 and he's talking about Pixel 7, This man never dissapoints with such easter eggs.
@Marques Brownlee well there's an egg on the right side of the screen thags yellow and red lol
WOW INCREDIBLE
Pixel 6 is a piece of shit, my pixel 5 was way better. This guy cheated me, making Google to earn millions of dollars! Take care guys!
@[E] This ain't a conspiracy show, it's a tech. Video and Marques loves leaving Easter Eggs in his vid.
that's just coincidence, no need to draw conspiracies out of this.
probably a very unique demand, but I really just need that watch to have an Audible app
I'm sure they will do this if you ask them

Didn’t expect to see Kofuzi here, but will look forward to your review from a runner’s point of view 😃
I honestly thought the Samsung gear watch shoulda have it a long time ago but i guess they missed out and now its gonna be takin over by this.
honestly, it'll be up to amazon to develop one for it
After watching Google IO I could see myself switching fully over to the google/pixel ecosystem. Google is creating a nice little apple rival with all this new stuff coming out over the next year or so, If the watch is close to Apple Watch and the tablet connects seamlessly similar to iPad and my iPhone, I might just make the jump.
The only 2 things that impressed me were the new controls over ads and the new glasses.
Everything else is kinda ..... nah for me.
In fact I have almost completely decoupled from google now.
The only google thing I still use is YT.
@ExperiMental same tbh... Got the pixel 6 pro on pre order and the battery has always lasted me a full day. granted my samsung note 9 was fininshing the day around 40-50% but eventually after 2-3 years it wont even last a day so... idk im not complaining yet.
@Dillon C I've had the Pixel 6 Pro since it came out, and I've never had a problem with my battery, and so far I haven't heard of anyone else having battery issues, though I haven't gone out of my way to look for anyone who has. I've been using mine all day (about thirteen hours at this point) and it's still at almost forty percent. Did you ever take it in to get it checked?
appleships and samsungships are already crying 🤣🤣🤣 i have the 6 pro and let me tell you what a a awesome phone voice google comand is top notch love the google font ans minimals desing in the software apple is just boring and plain not my taste ...
The Pixel 6 Pro is hot garbage. Worst phone I ever bought. I'm considering the exact opposite.
Definitely looking forward to the tablet. After my Pixel C reached EoL years ago, my only other serious option was Samsung. The Pixel Watch reveal was totally underwhelming - not sold on the design. It's ugly.
I don't even care if the first generations of this new hardware aren't perfect, I'm just so happy to finally see Google building out their hardware ecosystem
@Varun Kandhari many people like having a bigger screen device that is bigger than the phone they would carry in their pocket. I'm excited for a Google Android tablet. Every time I use my Samsung tablet it makes me wish I had a Google tablet.
I agree it's a good way to improve
@I'M POSSIBLE And then wait for another 10 years to release it globally.
Apple competitor
@Stephen Michael yeah I agree I would have loved a good android tablet with stock android software but 5 years ago. Now with foldable phones , smart tvs , super light laptops, and an already perfect iPad, the future of the google tablet looks very bleak
I have the 4a and am still loving it! Thought about upgrading, but may instead spring for the Pixel Watch. Great content as always, man!
I'm really interested in that tablet...interesting it'll be running Android and not ChromeOS. I've gone all in on Apple since switching to the 13 Pro from my Pixel 5, and while I don't see myself leaving iOS etc for social reasons, I miss Google's take on Android and hope I can at least enjoy it as a tablet.
I think the new android update made the buttons much bigger cause google wanted it to be on their tablets too cause the main reason android tablets suck is that android wasn't really built for bigger screens
Excited to see what the tablet does with the new Android *L updates. I'm really curious to see if they do a folding phone too though.
The watch... Well I have never really felt like the smart watch was necessary. I use a Garmin and the notifications and quick canned reply features it provides are everything I think I care about, and the battery lasts a whole week. But, in fairness, I've never tried a true smartwatch myself.
with hardware announcements dominating this year's IO, Google is going bang on to its rival Apple. But Apple will always hold the edge over privacy. Tabs, I guess pixel won't be able to compete with iPad but it will surely make some dent initially. Lastly, the watch is interesting thing to look forward to...
Great now if only Google started actually selling this stuff globally
Pixel is a flop every year. Even in global markets.
@Andrew Rodriguez glad yours work. I had FOUR Pixel 6 Pros. All of them overheated, had major connectivity issues, and battery drain.
LTE and 5G dropped randomly. If I connected to Wifi they lost service completely.
Google couldn't figure it out. Each time I sent Bug Reports after opening a new ticket they offered a new replacement. After the 3rd RMA, They offered a refund.
Sent it back in January and they never refunded me.
So yeah, I'd say it was that bad.
@Marco Chavane the 6 isn’t that bad lmao. I have the 6 Pro and a 13 Pro and it’s really not bad smh
ikrr
Global market share of Android is 70% or more. Anywhere outside of North America Android can account for 80-90%, and yes it is a Google product.
I've been waiting to upgrade my Pixel 2 XL, which has been such an incredible phone for the past few years! Looking forward to finally indulge and pick up the Pixel 7, buds, and watch in the next few months!
Wow
I've been waiting for a new Google watch since the Nexus days. I'm so excited to hear it's no longer a rumor and honestly I had to see it to believe it because over the years there's been plenty of rumors.
And those Pixel Buds Pro are also a day 1 purchase. I use my Pixel Buds A religiously lol
Amazing pixel still can support dual ring tone when you have a dual sim setup. Been waiting for this since pixel 5. But OnePlus and Samsung support with OnePlus is 👑 for dual sim . Samsung is ok at dual sim and would switch to pixel 7 if they supposed dual ring tone.
Love that faded green and gold. Looking forward to the reviews and how they turn out. Nice video. Keep up the good work. The watch reminds me of a that watch with the oil inside. Nice video. Keep up the good work.
I've been rocking the Pixel 3XL and I've been waiting for this moment! Super excited to see what the next gen has to offer. Be looking forward to your review MKBHD!
I moved from the 3XL to the 6P and loving it!
Honestly samsung's smartwatches have improved a lot and are a great option for Android users. It will be interesting to see how the pixel watch compares to them.
I'm excited about the watch...I hope it's awesome! I'd also would love for the tablet to be able to replace my iPad but I doubt it will.
Google assistant, AI, industry leading Fitness tracking, Health & Wellness monitoring, State of the art Tensor SoC on a Stunning design Pixel Watch. Checkmate! Google has made the Winning Move!!
Sundar is still wrapping up the keynote and we already got the MKBHD video 👏
Time is money.
Sundar stuff done by mkbhd👌
Exactly
he’s seen it already. obviously
This is what i was looking for trough, becouse the other thing was looong :D
The level of editing from this guy always amazed me 👍
It really does feel like we've been waiting an eternity for the Pixel Watch at this point 😅
I'm an apple fanboy, but the Pixel 7 👀 sounds kinda good to me
viva la android
@joxxx I can't stand Samdung
@joxxx meanwhile, color on galaxy 😄🤭 obviously iPhone have more color variant. Okay now read that. You sound like a 12 year old 😑. Oh and,7 out of the top 10 best selling phones worldwide belong to Apple,so obviously, iPhone have better sales number 😄🤭. 🙄 Next
@Joseph Pepe meanwhile color on iPhone 😄🤭, Obviously Galaxy has better colors variant
@Krishnaprasad Mokshagundam well if that's what it comes to pass the night guess people really shouldn't buy them for an inflated rate and hold off for a year That's the best way to send a message if they won't listen beforehand
I'm looking forward for the Pixel 6a, I currently have a Pixel 5a as a work phone and I feel I need an upgrade!
For me the Pixel 6a represents that one thing I've been waiting for ever: a small phone with a good battery. Like, S22 has only 3700mAh, the Flip 3 3300mAh, that's bad, this new Pixel looks pretty interesting to me
Definitely no at 60hz display..these guys are nuts
6a will be not small. 152mm 178g.
just get an iphone then?
if 6.1 is small iphone 13 pro already has a good battery. 11 pro with 5.8” was great
the s22 lasts me a day easy with heavy usage
The question for me is, will the 7 pro be a big enough step up from the 6 pro to warrant upgrading after only 12 months 🤔
I wonder this, too. I'm skeptical
As a iPhone user who have been eyeballing Pixel phones for a few years I'm definitely interested in the Pixel 7. The watch not so much, those bezels look horrible with the rounded design.
Pixel Tablet has me super excited. I've been hoping for a Google tablet since the last Nexus 8.9 inch was laid to rest.
The biggest hype for me is the watch! As I've been wanting a pixel watch since I got the pixel 4a. Really excited for what they've got in store!

Honestly samsung's smartwatches have improved a lot and are a great option for Android users. It will be interesting to see how the pixel watch compares to them.
probably not as full featured, Google seems want to dial down product features.. maybe closer to fitbit niches
I cannot stand samsung and still use my moto 360 2nd generation with my pixel 4a5g. All I need from a smart watch is notifications letting me know when I might need to use my phone. I do not need a watch to try and be my phone. Fitness stuff is fine but I do not wear my watch to bed to analyze sleep, so yea I have no need for samsungs junk...thank you though, I'm sure samsung works well for you.
@d3Xt3r nothing says incel like I use a pixel device 😂
@d3Xt3r again you don't know what bloatware is 😂 two going off of your definition google is the one to put bloatware on your device apart from maps, Gmail and TheXvid.
@Ace No thanks, Samsung is the epitome of bloatware. I'll stick to the Pixel lineup.
It's great to see Google finally putting effort to make really good ECO SYSTEM like Apple.
The Pixel 7 / 7 Pro is absolutely beautiful.
Can't wait.
Definitely looking forward to the Watch and Pixel Tablet. Gonna start saving now:)
I'm interested in the watch for sure. I've still got the first gen Galaxy watch and it just doesn't do anything for me. I use it as a stopwatch and a step tracker. I don't sleep in it as it's too bulky and the charge isn't the best.
Before seeing this I was debating on just getting a fitbit as their fitness tracking is so much better than Samsung Health. However seeing the pixel watch has all the fitbit tech I'm now tempted to hold off and see what the pixel wat h brings.
F's for the iPod.
Apple user here- that pixel watch pretty much looks like what I’d always imagined a round Apple Watch would look like. I love it! Except the bezels do seem too big to me
Circular watches are 100x better looking than square so it's automatically a win regardless of bezels
Bezels and size look more like Samsung’s galaxy watch active
@James M yeah I think so, but I like to repair my own stuff, it just satisfies me, I enjoy repairing stuff, if I can do it, I want to do it lol, and I've successfully repaired quite a few phone so far and the Active 2 internals isn't that much different, basically a tiny smartphone, besides that the warranty is long gone too, so nothing to really lose
@Eventus Vantos Whenever I get Google Home Ware OS I might be impressed.
@The Gilbran In the long run it's better to let Samsung replace the battery in it as more than likely the watch will never be the same if you do it yourself or a third party does it. I learned that lesson years ago.
I would have gladly purchased the pixel 6a if google had seen fit to include $3 worth of wireless charging, but of course they know that.
I've been waiting sooooo long for the pixel watch that I finally gave up and went apple for their watch. Now I'm stuck in the expensive apple-verse. I wish Google would make an exceptional watch so I can switch back to android.....but I was tired of waiting.
I was absolutely loving the pixel watch, thinking about getting one an all but those bezels are disgustingly large.
I'd rather get a smart watch from Samsung or any reputable smart watch company for most likely much less money with a better screen than this
The 7 looks nice but I'm still happy with my 6 Pro. A gel shield on the glass screen works very well. The latest cameras update seems to have made it take ultra saturated photos like a Samsung though so that sucks. I hardly wear a watch so I doubt I'd be interested in it. I also don't want to be reminded if I have high blood pressure or how little sleep I'm getting. 😫🤣
Quite excited for the Pixel 7 series. There's a few things the 6 struggled with (mainly battery and software bugs) but was still quite great, and I hope that the 7 improves on the foundation.
@jimv1983 I like the AI alot. But seems like the camera updates have been worse. Shutting speed went up but AI got loss intensive in making photo's prettier
Considering how much of a disappointment the Tensor chip is and not having a decent size I'm not really optimistic about the Pixel 7 phones.
@Daniel Anderson I guess it's that it doesn't work properly with a screen protector. I am using a pincode more often than unlocking with fingerprint and can't wait on face unlock actually.
@Benjamin Johnson most of the people online in comment sections and forums who complain about a phone don't even own one in the first place 🤷
@Maurice Martinez My 5 has been flawless, best Pixel since the 2.
Might I suggest on taking a look at the Edifier Neobuds Pro. I'm really interested in your thoughts on that product, especially on its audio quality, anc, and transparancy.
F
ipod nano and ipod touch were some of my first and most loved devices. Going from trying to mow with a discman (non-skip, haha, right) to mowing with a ipod was worlds better.
Ive been wanting a smartwatch for years now and have been leaning on jumping ship to iPhone after 9 years. This new announcement is great news, but I'm also reminded at what a disappointment Google can be with their products. This Pixel 4a I'm on overheats when on video calls and shuts off wifi and is unstable til it cools down.
Man I’m the Google rep for my store I work for AT&T and I’m super excited about the new watch ! Definitely gonna be interesting
At points I have been 100% google for all services, but even I've given up
Took too long on the watch, and the green/blue issue finally pushed me away
They also give up on and/or revamp huge things too often
I'm really looking forward to the Pixel watch with LTE.
if the buds pro have good connection I might get them otherwise I'll just stick to pixel buds 2 as for the watch I'll wait till they make one with smaller bezels as for the phone I already got the 6 pro so I probably won't upgrade for quite a while maybe till I no longer get updates
I've tried two different android smart watches so far and most of the time I walked around with them dead on my wrist. Unless the pixel watch can last a solid 2 days on a charge, I probably won't bother. Something about charging my accessories, I just don't.
I love the implication that it's not entirely out of the question for Google to make a tablet with no screen.
introducing the google sheet of metal featuring a 12 mp camera
I'm so excited for the buds pro. I'm still rocking the ones from 2020, and they are so bad 😞
Ive been praying for this Pixel-Watch since years. I will buy that thing day one!
great review; reviewer; quality voice for tech like few others; brillant voice
I would prefer to get a slightly used/almost brand new premium version of the pixel for the same price. A used galaxy s22 is also at the similar price right now.
The Pixel 6a looks like the perfect upgrade for my parents. Can't wait to see the review to make sure its what they need.
@Afraz Hussain I just watched that video. I wonder why the results of this video are so much different from every other battery comparison I've ever seen between the Pixel 5 and Pixel 6. I think the Pixel 5 might have already had a lot of use and was already suffering from battery degradation. Either that or something is up with the Pixel 5. It's just so much different than every other battery comparison. Very strange.
Another thing that bugs me on those videos is it's always on wifi. I guess that's more consistent for comparison but makes it less useful for determining real world battery life. On mobile data even that Pixel 5 would destroy both the Pixel 6 phones. That's one of my main concerns. How is the battery life on mobile data. The Pixel 5 isn't great even with its very power efficient Qualcomm X52 modem but it's way better than the Exynos 5123 modem used in the Pixel 6 phones.
And the standby time in the Pixel 6 phones in the video. I knew it was bad but WOW 11% lost in just 9 hours. That's 1.2% per hour on wifi. That's probably going to be like 4% per hour on 5G. 😬 I'll definitely pass on that.
The iPhone 13 Pro Max performance in that video really makes me consider an iPhone 13 Pro Max. I don't like iOS but damn. A phone that actually has decent battery life is so tempting.
@jimv1983 it was by Darius K if you search his name and pixel 6 battery test it should come up. For me when considering the pixel I wanted it to be able to last longer than my Huawei mate 20 pro which at that point I was charging it 2 times per day even on days when I barely used it. Sometimes on days I was using it a lot it would be 3 times per day
@Afraz Hussain can you share that video? I've never seen any reviews showing the Pixel 6 beating the Pixel 5 even on wifi not taking into account mobile data.
When I was considering if I would get one of the Pixel 6 phones I wanted battery life WAY better than my Pixel 5. Like 50% better or more. Especially on mobile data.
@jimv1983 that's my experience with it 🤷🏽♂️ also I watched a battery life test of pixel 6 pixel 5 and pixel 6 pro and the 6 had the best of the lot the 6 pro was 7 hours 12 minutes the 5 was 7 hours 15 minutes and the 6 was 8 hours 9 minutes. That was kind of one of the deciding factors for me getting the standard 6 over the pro
@Afraz Hussain sorry but I'm having a hard time believing that's true because what you are claiming is FAR better than any of the many reports of battery life from that phone. Even my Pixel 5 can't manage that and all battery life tests of the Pixel 6 show it to have much worse battery life than the Pixel 5.
I'm looking forward to the Pixel 7 Pro and the Pixel Watch, BUT, I want the facial recognition biometrics and Motion Sense to come back... this is what has stopped me from upgrading from the Pixel 4 XL (I've had the 2 & 3 XL's prior to this) and my 4 XL is still working brilliantly!
Facial recognition biometrics is quick, no need to find a spot with your finger, works great in the dark when scrolling at night and more. Motion Sense is good to skip tracks while driving (not technically "touching" your phone) and it wakes the phone when you get near, and "flip to shhh" which I'm not sure exists in future models due to the lack of Motion Sense.
Pixel-head that I am, I'm looking forward to the 7 and watch. Will be going for the Pro version this time and the cellar Watch, if it's available.
Did I see that the Pixel 7 and Watch might be released at the same time?
Are they going to be released as a package?
Previously, Google have added a free set of Bose Bluetooth headphones with pre orders of the Pixel 5 and 6 (headphones take weeks to be delivered). Might they do a similar offer with the 7 pre orders?
A note on the all-glass cover:
Not a fan. It looks all the more breakable. Or at least crackable.
I have the 6 (already with a cracked screen) and it has a good rugged case and screen protector. I hate that I have to do this to my phones, but they just too fragile and I am a clumsy oaf.
I would dearly love to be able to have the phone "naked". Have tried with the 6 but it's really slippery! With all that glass there is minimal friction.
Does anyone else have this issue?
I'm excited for the watch also 😁. I really hope they make a flip phone
i hope pixel 7 will get a better selfie camera , improved video and 4k at 60 fps on selfie camera like every other flagship phone can do to keep up.
I actually thought the shot at 3:55 of the earbuds was from the MKBHD studio. Someone at Google is obviously taking notes!
Let us get your eyes checked!
Okay I thought so as well. Then I realized that the products aren’t out yet😂
What a streaming 😊
Wait it isn’t?!
he launched this video seconds after Google I/O. the video was clearly made well in advance so well... ya know...
What i like about google is their representation 😍
Great updates! Thanks for sharing what happened.
11:18 iPod "...probably one of the products everyone watching this video has at some point owned some version of."
After doing tech support for Apple products long ago I said I would never shell out that hype money for that hyped-up proprietary crap. And I haven't.
Not even once.
Thanks for all the details on what the rest of the world uses though. I appreciate your thorough evaluations of all things tech.
I am excited for the Pixel watch, though damn! I didn't notice how thick the bezels were until you pointed it out! I'll still hold off on purchasing a smartwatch until the Pixel is released, which at that point I'll likely choose between that or the latest Tick Watch Pro.
Dang I was really hoping they cut the bezel size down on the Pixel watch.. I love my watch active 2 but the bezels are so big.
Amazing sounds like the best idea for a smartwatch.
That hardware is next level quality 👌
I'm also looking forward on getting a pixel 7 pro 👍
F. I'm looking forward to the Pixel Tablet for sure, it's a space Google should have been doing something about for a long time. Also a tablet with g-cam would be nice for snapping documents, reference images and so on. Nothing too crazy but the less devices you have to cycle through while just at home, the better.
I still think fondly of my Old Nexus 7, but now Phones are practically the same size..
I've never owned an iphone, nor do I ever want to but as far as I'm concerned no grey could beat the space grey of the iphone. The pixel 7's grey/gold combo looks good so far though. Perhaps it'll rid me of my 15yr samsung addiction once & for all.
Wow.
Here I was thinking I should work towards upgrading my Pixel 3 to a Pixel 6... I guess I should just wait and keep going with the 3 until I can get my hands on the 7... Because my god do I want to use those earbuds and that watch 👀👀
Also REST IN PEACE iPOD 😭 what a legend
Good that they are bringing the watch, still hard to move to Google until Google Photos are encrypted at rest. But that's not going to happen. The photos are stored in a public folder and are accessible to anyone not just the owner as long as you have link to the source (not sharing link that Google provides to share, but link to actual file). Insane.
Since I got a Pixel I've loved the camera, the easy way it saves everything to Google Photos for free from various places I have or download pictures from and the different ways it randomly gives me Now and Then photo comparisons, Spotlight albums/slideshows on different people in my family or all of us together, a look back on all of the trips we've taken, even a montage of different hugs in my camera roll or combination of 3 similar pictures of my son sitting in his car seat from newborn to now - how does it do that?! But at my son's 5th birthday at Chucky Cheese yesterday one of the moms sent me pictures she took from her iPhone 12 and they were WAY better quality. But mine are much better outside! I'm really hoping the Pixel 7 camera has an amazing update for video and indoor crispness/quality because honestly with the features, I'd like to be Pixel for life.
I like that Google is trying to do it the Apple way to some extend - owning the whole product from hardware to software really is an advantage in performance and UX.
The Pixel watch looks cool but from what we see is not even close to Apple watch level. Same with the Tablet - will take some years for them to catch up but can only be good for competition
@Foozle 1up You mean a 3 year old user name? User names are "used" for a reason. I doubt Fozzle is your real name.
@Sneat yeah imagine someone creating another account just to bash some heated guy on youtube named sneat
@nombre taken Do you guys read your own comments before you post them? There is nothing to suggest Fitbit will not be around. Not one hint from Google. People just to hate and speculate.
I'm kinda disappointed in the watch, I've been looking forward to it so much! But those bezels look like they take like 40 percent of the face, which makes it look a little off... Scrolling through things, the UI just disappeared way sooner than I'd like.. hopefully they have a larger size or it looks better in person because so far I think I'm gonna wait for the new ticwatch before I get into wearables
with the really bad experience with pixel 6 phones, are you somewhat wary that these new pixel devices would be so buggy as well? after finding out about pixel 6 issues, i just cannot get myself that excited about these new things coming out.
I, personally, think the pixel 7 looks pretty good. I want more phone manufacturers to go WEIRD with their designs, even the pixel 7 is relatively tame. Like, go crazy. Give us a small phone with a curved back to fit into hands better. Give us a circular phone like a pocket watch. Give us an industrial phone with a volume knob and big ass speakers but no rear/large camera so it's like a bluetooth speaker on the go. Give us a phone that isn't glass but metal and maybe powdercoated and anodized. Give us a phone that has a slide-out tactile keyboard (PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE) I want the industrial designers to run amok. Do something crazy. I'd buy any of the phones I listed above over basically any other flagship, honestly.
Small phone - why are women's pockets so small? I need it just for that, honestly.
Circular phone - would keep me off social media which is good, and I love the aesthetics + vibes.
Industrial phone w/ speaker - I don't need a bluetooth speaker any more, and if my phone's gonna be big, it might as well use that space.
Keyboard phone - I. HATE. TOUCH. KEYBOARDS. And I love writing short stories and stuff on the go, so that might be a viable option to replace my laptop.
Galaxy watches are already pretty good competition for Apple watches. They're much nicer looking as well.
I'm going to have to wait for some really long-term, hands-on reviews for the Pixel Buds Pro. I preordered the Pixel Buds 2 on day 1, and after 2 RMAs I still have a pair of buds that drop out and go out of sync anytime I walk outside. I moved on to the Sony WF1000XM4 for a while, and then jumped to the Sony LinkBuds. Both have rock solid connections, and the mic quality on the LinkBuds is amazing. The size and weight of the LinkBuds is just about perfect, too.
I'm glad that none of this hardware was in the "and you can order it NOW!" category. I hope they take the time between now and launch to make sure the Watch doesn't fall prey to the gen-1-google-product curse. And with it launching with the P7, I hope there's some good bundle deals.
@Tristan Morris Hey! Thanks for the all of the detailed info. Glad you've had a good experience with them. I think I'll definitely look into getting them sooner than later. Sounds like they fit my use case perfectly.
Ahh okay, that makes more sense.
@Blue yep, but that's why they're my daily buds. They're more comfortable for extended wear, and I end up just wearing them all day
Linkbuds don't have noise isolation though, so its noise cancelation is very weak.
Honestly not sure about these buds pro. Even as an android user, I can see that the $170 Airpods Pros are probably better, but gotta wait for a review.
I'm excited about the Pixel Tablet and Pixel Watch. I had the Nexus 7 (2013) and loved it. It's exciting knowing that Google is getting back in the tablet game. The large bezel doesn't look amazing but I'll wait until the reviews or seeing it for myself to make my final decision.
On Pixel watch: 1) huge bezels, 2) the Apple Watch aesthetics design
Seems like Google finally making some sensible moves which they should have made atleast 5 years ago. But to continue the good work the devices should also match the expectations else it is back to square one
super looking forward to a pixel tablet and if it has good battery life the watch also
Keen af for the Pixel Watch, I really hope it lives up to expectations! Also Pixel 7, it'll be about time to upgrade from my current phone by then. As someone else mentioned, hopefully Google will bundle the PW and P7 for a competitive price.
Good job on this report. Proud of you, young man. Look forward to meeting you some day, Sir.
Would've loved a rear fingerprint reader on the 6a. The in-screen reader on my 6 is by far the weakest point of the phone.
100%. What a botch job. Probably would work just fine if I take the screen protector off, but I shouldn't have to
Looking forward to having the Pixel family of hardware. P7 + watch + earbuds, aww yeah.

Still haven't seen a watch that I'd rather have over my galaxy watch active 2. This looks like very similar dimensions, it does all the same stuff, and it looks like somehow an even bigger bezel, that isnt haptic
Googles almost there man. It’s gonna be interesting to see how google builds off the pixel 6 and the tensor chip. I also predict the battery life on the 6a will be godly
@Monke40 the resolution of the Pixel 6a and Pixel 6 are the same, 1080x2400. The 1/3 lower refresh rate will be balanced out by the smaller battery. Even if the Pixel 6a ends up having better battery life than the Pixel 6 it wouldn't be a huge difference which is needed to make the battery life good.
@jimv1983 yes but lower resolution, refresh rate.
@Patrick Artounian i think you habe a Problem. I have a pixel 6 and no problem Wirth battery
My Pixel 6 battery is shit. Dies the second you unplug it. I just use it for web browsing, social media browsing, and checking email/messages.
Yeah I agree
I always see the Google IO first and then the reviews. But this year after watching the review first I felt you already the products in his studio. After seeing the IO I realized the images Maques shown of the buds are not shot in his studio.
I’ve been an Apple products consumer since 1983, but I’ve wanted to switch camps for the last few years. In my opinion, Apple has just gone downhill, and I’m no longer feeling it. I was all in for the Pixel 6 Pro, but Google did a horrible job ramping up production. I was on the pre-order for the Pro several times, but they constantly bumped me when I attempted to pay. When they eventually could offer anything, it was always the low-end version. Finally, I got so tired of their ineptitude I just stuck with the boring iPhone. 🤷♂️
4:55 I know it’s the same company but the beats pro fit have great transparency mode and sound better than the pros.
Probably gonna wait till the a series gets a 90Hz display. I'll be sold on the model which offers 90Hz refresh.
F.
Great vid as always! Loving that google are trying a new product marketing route. As you say - by owning the product message, google gets to be in charge of their destiny.
I think a next step for them would be to continue “announcing” / “messaging” features periodically to retain the hype. Then end with a big reveal at the event itself….not sure if it’ll pay off, but time will tell
maybe sometimes keeping the tap shut until it's announced and launched DOES build momentum
I'm just so excited for the new pixel buds, the old ones are the best wireless earbuds I've ever used and these look even better!
I actually want to the Pixel Tablet to be successful. Google has to give attention to Android tablets, it's like they forgot that tablets exist and Android is not their responsibility.
Samsung alone has almost created a new Android version for their tablets, filled with useful features which are not present in Stock Android.
This guy radiates so much positive energy that he has tendency to uplift everyone's mood!!
A Pixel Tablet…
Hmm… if done right, it could be a true competitor to the iPad. Will it be, though? We’ll have have to wait and see.
Great now if only Google started actually selling this stuff globally
Why did you copy and paste someone else's comment?
They don't for a reason
hai yrr tera comment har video me rehta hai
@Gowtham Gunashekar I swear it’s ridiculous 😂
