Definitely. Greg's tempo is slower and he clearly has the mind muscle connection going. He uses less weight, but the control is better.

@brian ross Well yeah, massive is an overstatement, but you got my point. Will is around 6', he had a dexa scan that got him at 5'1'1', but its somewhere in between probably. The weight did go up when he focused more on his legs (plus he is bulking currently), he looked "the same" when he was at 180lbs, mostly because the legs are hidden anyway. Not sure if you think he looks smaller or bigger than his height suggest, however.
@Mossab Lahmaza yeah he is, don't think he even has visible abs. Gotta bulk tho!

@Byro Spyro lol do you not understand the point of the recipes and gregs whole food idea is that its low in calorie with high protein and low fat and therefore good for you. Its about lower calorie versions of foods people crave.
Greg is always stuffing a bun in his recipes because I think his audience is mostly interested in minimal cooking techniques. I got to say you can use sliced bread and get one of those sandwich cutters from Amazon and make a filled sandwich that way and less calories. As a woman I definitely prefer using a sandwich press like that for under $10 totally worth it.
@Krystopher Strickland For the pizza pocket ones in this video, E4CM's hamburger bun recipe would probably be really good. They're already high protein. They don't seem like they'd work for the donuts though.
@Susannah Fath Cotman make your own buns then? If you make it at home it should almost be easier for you than someone buying buns since you’ll accomplish a donut like treat more so than a pre made bun.
Can we just take a minute to appreciate how far this channel has come, last year Will was living in his pool house eating with no cutlery. Now he’s mates with Mr Olympia and some of the best in fitness!

The recipe as best I can tell by piecing together info from this video and Greg's peanot butter video is, Also this is assuming you don't have fibro as in this video:
150g white canned kidney beans
3x scoop protein powder(vanilla or something with PB in the name)
72g Powdered PB of choice
1.5 tablespoons Swerve
150g nut milk
3 tablespoons syrup
1/2 teaspoon thickener(guar gum or xanthum gum)
1/4 teaspoon salt

Greg is experiencing the joys of aging. I'm mid 40s and am still big (around 220) but am not nearly as strong as I was at the same size 10 years ago even though I look the same. Old joints just don't like the weight.
Right there with you bud. I got tired of injuring myself trying to push the same weights, so I do like Greg, less weight, more time under tension, control the weight more. It may not feed the ego as much but I don't give a fuck, I'd rather not injure myself and not be able to work out at all.

Hey WIll, try out backwards walking on the treadmill for warm up sometime. It's very good for the knees and will activate some different muscles vs normal walk.
I agree I do this before my quad focus leg day and it feel great to me.

Yk I’ve been having a really rough week, stuck thinking my physique doesn’t and won’t compare to my friends and won’t ever and that I need to work out but can’t get into it due to school and extracurriculars. Despite this I always watch your videos cause they make me feel better and believe that I still have time to grow and develop, thanks Will.

I started doing 531 + BBB and even though I hate my life on Squat/Deadlift days, I love the workout and am able to be consistent. What you guys said about being consistent is so important and I noticed the difference immediately.

Greg is great in Will's videos. I like his normal personality over his Coach Greg persona. He is super informative, I just don't do well with the yelling. Perhaps he can do some non overly loud voice videos for those of us learning how to weight lift. Thank you Will for having him hang out with you, and thank you Greg for all the info you give us. 🙂

I love how Coach Greg takes spotting seriously. Fuck the cameras, fuck the background noise, fuck everything else but spotting. 99% of the time, minus help with weights, nothing bad will happen. That one time though, can make a huge difference in someone's life.

Good episode, I’ve gone down the Anabolic recipe route for all my foods. Play ice hockey and do power lifting. I recover so much better and added 35kg/77lb to my total on the 3 lifts in 10weeks, along with improving my hockey performance. I wish I found these anabolic cooking recipes earlier.

This is very funny. Especially for the people that have been following Will and Greg’s videos for a while. Like a year or so ago when Will put the blender tool in his mouth now seeingGreg do it is the funniest thing ever.
Greg seems like the ideal gym partner. Putting in the work with you and a solid spotter too super attentive but not keeping you from pushing yourself
The advice of making a weight more difficult instead of increasing the weight is so good. When I'm lifting and I have to increase the weights I sometimes feel insecure in case I can't do it or keep my technique. This is much safer and prepares you for higher weights before increasing them.
