  • The London Chess Classic FIDE Open 2019 was an important event in the career of R. Praggnanandhaa. He not only won the tournament (joint winner along with Anton Smirnov), but also crossed 2600 on the Elo rating scale. How did the youngster manage to win this event? In this video Praggnanandhaa discusses his two games of the event with Sagar Shah, his black wins against Raymond Song and Martin Petrov.
Pragg also tells us how he managed to overcome a small stagnation in his chess career where he was stuck between 2500 to 2540 for two years and how in the last four months, he has gained 60 Elo points and cross 2600 Elo.
