Can you spend a day with tommyinnit?
Future legends are being born
Can you pls rejoin smosh pls I remember watching you as a kid and you and Ian made me laugh so much, or just keep doing this channel it seems good well smosh or now your doing good 👍👍👍
Anthony’s the kind of guy to ask “is anyone gonna interview them?” Then not wait for an Answer
Fr
Oh My GOODNESS
HA
L-mao
Good one
Can we just appreciate that in every single shot, Wilbur is sitting in a different way 😂
LMAOO
What we learned from this video: Wilbur Soot is an extremely lucky guy
Edit: THANKS FOR THE 1K LIKES!!!
Edit: THANKS FOR THE 2K LIKES!!!
@FamiliarTundra sex*
God owed him a favor. That's how he's tall.
Him: it’s all luck
Others: LUCK? HOW IS YOU BEING 6’5 JUST LUCK
@Void Shadow *tall br'ish dud apporches*
Wilbur is always so down to Earth, he's probably the YTer I admire the most and has the attitude I aspire to. Just doing what he likes to do, owning up to mistakes but not making them about him, and just being genuinely a cool dude! Love his vids were he and Tommy just hang out, really makes you want to just hit up your own friends and go do something (safely). So cool to see him do an interview like this :D If anyone deserves this kind of fan admiration it's him
i love how this interview wasn’t uncomfortable or awkward. wilbur’s very well-spoken and is a perfect person to come on an anthony padilla interview! :)
it’s kind of hard to explain but the way Wilbur explains his growth and humility really shows his maturity
@AxxL que
@AxxL?
@AxxL lmao bruh please- 😂 ✋
@AxxL shutup
I agree.
Anthony’s the kind of guy to ask “is anyone gonna interview them?” Then not wait for an answer..
Why did you copy the other comment bruh
did you literally jsut copy paste the comment right under you??
Copied...
20:56, i remember watching lmanburg getting blown up and my heart dropped. I dont watch the dream smo anymore but some things will always mean something to me and lmanburg is one of them (aswell has a few people like wilbur, niki, ranboo and tubbo just because they helped me a lot with things like not eating or my anxiety). Lmanburg was definitely a powerful creation. I also remember getting the lmanburg flag and i was gonna put it up but then i lost interest and i then folded it and put it behind a tub to never be seen again.
@gaydinoosaur 22 yw
@Blooddnik oh yeah mb, thank you- i type a bit too quickly sometimes
Smp**
@puffin makes sense, makes sense
@gaydinoosaur 22 it's a bit complicated but you can trick the sensors into thinking feathers are hands
It’s so inspiring how humble, mature, optimistic, and matter-of-fact Wilbur is. It’s also cool that even though he’s best know for his SMP stuff, his music is genuinely really good by itself
wilbur is such a genuine and upfront person, i cant imagine how challenging it must be at times to have to deal with the amount of publicity he holds. his content and personality brings me so much joy and i cant wait to see more of what he becomes. loved this interview!
The fact that Wilbur can look back on his work and say certain parts of it were terrible, and learn from that, really shows how mature he is.
@_𝚃𝚑𝚎 𝙼𝚘𝚘𝚜𝚑𝚛𝚘𝚘𝚖 𝙱𝚒𝚘𝚖𝚎_ it’s a reference to a song he made
@Eljunior huh?
He is a softboy huh
He picked up an instrument less than four years ago? That's really inspiring, I've been thinking about picking up a ukulele myself. How Lovejoy created is a crazy story in itself, I mean imagine the guy you hire from fiver just joins your band?
I just love Wilbur's attitude, he's so well spoken and polite, but funny. Seems like a guy you'd enjoy hanging out with.
i love how comfortable all these interviews feel, it doesn't feel awkward or uncomfortable. it feels like families or close friends
It’s cool that he mentioned Carson helping his growth and didn’t avoid it because of what he did
“The entirety of the beginning of the DreamSMP was Hamilton.”
“Really? Have people put that together?”
Oh, Anthony. I dare say they have.
@Connor in my school we completly skipped American revolution:/
@GloopMoopYT with all due respect, not everybody lives in America and a lot of the people that do live in other countries don't learn too much about it. I'm Australian and I wouldn't know about it if I didn't have a musical phase lol
@Connor in the UK even though we did partsof American history(in like gcses which is when you are 15/16) they never teach the american revolution. Instead they teach about civil rights and the depression. Though most of it is still the history of the UK.
@Connor when I first saw it I was like "oh cool, a reversed American revolution" until I found out of Hamilton. I still see it as reversed American revolution
@Connor that's not true at all tbh. we briefly touched upon the beginning of the revolution in 8th grade, that was it. makes sense, like as a scandinavian how would american history serve me or be of use
Anthony, could you do a video about those living with invisible illness and chronic pain? The public perception and mental struggles of these people need to be recognized. If you need someone who can talk I do deal with Chronic pain, but I don't want to sound like a suck up. No matter if you choose this or who you choose thank you for considering this. Love your content! keep up the good work.
i thank wilbur because his music has inspired me to pick up the guitar and learn how to play ☺️
I just love listening to Wilbur's interviews. The mindset and way of doing things is a really good way to look up to. I did like him because of his looks at first but when knowing more I just really look up to him.
so beyond proud of how far wilbur has diverged. I’ve been a fan of his for about a year now and he never fails to amaze me. seeing how passionate he is is inspiring to me. keep at it will, we love ya! :’)
I just love Wilbur's attitude, he's so well spoken and polite, but funny. Seems like a guy you'd enjoy hanging out with.
@the_bluest_blue☆ ikr after one of their close friends :D
@EvenOdder and dude, I think the name "lovejoy" would fit it so well
@Popplejam21 the way you worded that is amazing and i 100% agree :D
@broom i’d say that relatability is more what contributed to Ranboo’s popularity than Wilbur’s. in my opinion, Wilbur just is in some ways what fans want to be. Not in all ways obviously, I am me, and Wilbur is Wilbur, but for example, I want to be able to actually sing well, I want to learn guitar properly, I want to be better at storytelling and storywriting. He reignited my almost dead interest in guitar from when I was younger. The word is so cheesy but I just can’t think of a better one, he’s inspiring.
i feel like a lot of teens/young adults enjoy watching him more than the others because they find themselves in his personality. just goes to show how cool he is
i love how comfortable all these interviews feel, it doesn't feel awkward or uncomfortable. it feels like families or close friends
"How do you avoid getting caught up in the negativity?"
"Go outside."
💀that shit sent me
This was a really nice interview! I kind of feel like the big secret project Wilbur could probably the arg he mentined it a few times already and also when e said "no anoucement at all and that how I want to start it all"
something about Anthony's interview videos just trigger that calming, happy chemical in my brain. Like they just make me feel so understood and secure and seen, even when he's just shooting the sh*t with mcyts I enjoy
Someone should do an interview with Anthony, like someone else interviewing him. That would be cool
i spent a day with anthony padilla.
Yess
Anthony should interview himself
Even better, Andrew interviews himself
They’re interviewing each other
Wilbur has such a amazing and hilarious energy, I remember listening to he's first songs and instantly gripped on to his content. It's amazing how wilbur has come so far, I'm so proud of him :] ❤
so happy wilbur is getting the recognition he deserves, hes so talented and i cant wait for him to keep growing.
Those interviews make my day thank you, not only that but they do kind of remind us that streamers and ccs are actual people that have lives beyond fame
The fact that Wilbur graduated Uni when most of us probably didn't even know he was taking classes inspires me to finish
The fact that Wilbur graduated Uni when most of us probably didn't even know he was taking classes inspires me to finish
?
amazing comment section
Well he did a piss easy course
wilbur’s content is just wonderful tbh, he genuinely seems like a great human being
really proud of him for making it this far and thankful for all of the great things he’s brought to the internet
wilbur’s extremely well-spoken and just generally an intellectual person- honestly he’s the perfect person to appear on an anthony padilla interview :)
Anthony’s really just spending a day with everybody that ever existed. I love it
8:29… Anthony becomes a therapist
Anthony’s really just spending a day with everybody that ever existed. I love it
@Ups1deDwn_ pretty sure they’re referring to more than just this one video-?
@Ups1deDwn_ , Don't worry, it won't be long until he has chosen a different subject, he gotta get to everyone he needs and Anthony is very interested in the life of MCrafters lately. If you don't like it, you have the option to not watch. Honestly, it has been interesting to a lot of people. And this platform is about people getting the opportunity to express their sides and views, and see if people understand. I like how he doesn't goes for MCrafters too because they have been through a lot too and get hated on for no reason. So, it's not necessarily to make this channel an entertainment (its partial), but also to inform and give platform for minorities and I appreciate that.
lol
it will take him 7 billion days
@Ups1deDwn_ obviously
Someone should do an interview with Anthony, like someone else interviewing him. That would be cool
Watching this video is so surreal. I've watched Anthony since I was in junior high, and now I'm watching him interview one of my child's favorite content creators who I knew very little about before watching this.
I listen to Wilbur's music more than I watch his content now, I feel like it suits him more and Its always nice when the creator is feeling more comfortable
Anthony’s really just spending a day with everybody that ever existed. I love it
imagine a “i spent a day with Anthony Padilla” and it’s just him talking to himself
LMAOOO
Probably a 10 Million special
This has been a meme since the beginning, man.
@Cheyenne Dokos Yesss!!
Yes we need that
I'm never getting over the fact that one of my math teachers watches Wilbur
Anthony’s really just spending a day with everybody that ever existed. I love it
20:58 my best friend used the L’manburg flag on a shield we had to design for history class and then proceeds to start singing about L’manburg. It was glorious, nobody else understood.
I’m pretty sure I had a smile on my face the whole time watching this
I can hear Wilbur talk and talk about anything without getting bored. This man has so many stories and his music is great. I was waiting for this interview, thank u Anthony!
@SKVsister yep, I listen to them wile I do homework sometimes
Yes
Honestly same!! I literally was waiting for this ever since the first mcyt interview came on Anthony's channel!
@shadow Storm yeah but it's only 3 episodes. I have binge-watched them a bunch.
Wilbur had a podcast that was just him talking about random things! I completely recommend! it called "hey and stuff"
I made one of my friends become a fan of Wilbur and his music x)
Not too long ago, I sent him many Lovejoy songs, and the first thing he asked me was "Wait, is that Wilbur singing?" and I was like "Yeah!" and since then we just vibe to Lovejoy together lol
I made him discover many bands I liked, like Sum 41, Green Day or Tally Hall. (but especially Lovejoy and Lemon Demon xD)
I love learning about his ups and down. It makes me feel like not every ones perfect.
I love Wilbur's music and content, and this was so educative and entertaining! Such a good interview, my personal favorite so far:D
Thank you Anthony for this interview, my favorite so far Wilbur is the best 😍
Wilbur , our informative and strongly spoken king had finally made his way to this show. Thank you so much Anthony we needed this .
@Sincerely Me, that's dope. was just wondering since I know very little of him.
@Thelema don’t click on the video than silly goose
@Thelema wdym we needed this
@Thelema Ehhh it's the millions of people who are interested in what goes on behind Wilbur's career. I see a lot of appeal in him because he's helped me through his songs, he's relatable, a pretty mature dude. Unlike a lot of people these days.
@Thelema well look at how many views/likes it has, there's the appeal
Anthony’s really just spending a day with everybody that ever existed. I love it
I listened to wills music before I knew him as a TheXvidr, I remember when ‘Karen please come back I miss the kids’ was posted and I was super interested with his music and followed his music and from there started watching his videos. Kinda cool seeing him blow up so massively in the last two years, he was popular when I watched but this is mental
I've been watching Wilbur since 2018 and I'm so proud of him :)
i love wilbur so much, hes such an inspiration not only in his content but also just as a person, hes so down to earth and wonderful
i love how comfortable all these interviews feel, it doesn't feel awkward or uncomfortable. it feels like families or close friends
@WanderingFemboy thank u i saw it
Ur comment got copied not like u care tho
One of the camera crew?
@Tanzil Chowdhury might be... not super sure tho because he always seems to interview like "trendy" youtubers/streamers
@JenJen "parasocial relationship: the form of people perceiving celebrities and other social media titans as friends." i am not seeing them as friends or a personal relationship, i am saying simply as a viewer it comes off ver comfortable and not awkward
I like this interview, it seems so calm and relaxing.
Imma be honest, idk Wilburt or anything but this interview helped me so ducking much. Like, EVERY. SINGLE. THING. I FEAR and feel was there! It felt like personal therapy or advice so thank you padilla, soot and everybody
wilbur, thanks for helping me become the person i am today. i guess i’m the type of person to see his mindset and say “is anyone going to attempt to live with the contentment he has” and do it :)
Anthony: How did you do it?
Wilbur: Luck
SootHouse: get a load of this guy
wilbur’s extremely well-spoken and just generally an intellectual person- honestly he’s the perfect person to appear on an anthony padilla interview :)
@xandias Wasn't it a big thing back in 2016?? like i dont interact much with the markiplier or jacksepticeye fandom but i remember people shipping them a lot back then
@Sara IM SORRY WHY WOULD PEOPLE SHIP JACKSEPTICEYE AND MARKIPLIER 😭
@RBWars literally who cares. There's gonna be weird people in every big youtuber's fandom. Or did we forget how jack septiceye got shipped with markiplier so much that they had to stop recording together? Wilbur's community is ome of the chillest (in comparison to other mcyt)
@RBWars yeah the community is questionable but the dude is undeniably cool
17:59 Wilbur says “ now, you got far too strong of a jaw line for Wilbur Soot. give it back “
8:14
Anthony: *talking about good advice and deep meanings*
Wilburs sitting position:
Man, the editing in this video is insane. Interesting thought process doing an interview with himself.
Anthony is the type of guy to see Wilbur and ask “is anyone gonna interview that?” And not wait for an answer
I love that wil doesn't hide that he's made mistakes. he openly admits like yeah I was a shitty guy this thing I did was bad. it's really awesome that he hasn't developed the I'm a god mindset lmao
Yup we are gods and we're take over the World
@demi goddex
I’m neither but I agree. Y’all are gods
what did he do?
Yoooo Janussssss!!!!! :D
@Olivia Sommerville ty lmao and yes we are gods 😎
I'd LOVE to see Anthony interviewing demisexuals next. I'd feel so represented :')
Wilbur Soot is one of top tier TheXvidrs that I go to. Old or new, his videos still make me laugh 🥲
I found Wilbur through Soothouse and I'm always so glad my cousin recommended that channel to me
What we learned from this interview:
*"do what you love and be lucky"*
-Wilbur soot
Even though he's a "new-gen" you gotta love Wilbur. He's down to earth and always very entertaining and funny to watch. I'd say he compares to the og minecraft youtubers for me, I know that's a hot take and do I care? Nope!
Who cares who's new and old. They're even for me
@What is my life? lol your username is similar to mine but at least u have a life 😂
Yup that's why we love him
@Young Jellyfish yeah hes definitely og but hes kept that feeling you know?
@What is my life? its odd to call him a minecraft youtuber from my side since i found out about him before he started posting videos of minecraft.
I'm really greatful for this video because I found out one of my idols actually continued to study at university. I really want to but I'm bad with studying and my grades are bad so I had like zero hope. Now I get reminded that someone I look up to has been able to finish uni.
Anthony’s the kind of guy to ask “is anyone gonna interview them?” Then not wait for an Answer
20:13 Later we find out Wilbur's 2nd ARG already started and people will find this video in like 4 months and be analysing the static of those bleeps
For the first time ever i wish i could be antony padilla, id love to spend an entire day with this king. his music makes my heart go beep beep beep
The way that Anthony makes such a warm and welcoming environment for everyone he interviews strengthens my faith in humanity by +5
May i ask you how old are you?
Nice I do enjoy how he interacts with them
I might even say +10! His channel is just so pure and so geniune! I love how much he's grown and how he's become a mature adult since smosh!
“You can be funny without offending people”
*cough* *cough* Bo Burnham *cough cough*
Wilbur loves Bo Burnham lol
He is amazing he has inspired me to start writing my own music and I am currently in a small band playing guitar and singing.
bro the fact that me and wilbur learnt to play a bass in the EXACT same way is actually quite creepy... cool but creepy.
"Do what you love and get lucky"
Anthony and Ian know that one too well
ill never get tired of anthony falling through his ceiling.
@dweem2009able the power of editing
How the hell does he do that and so smooth too 🤔
love it really, tiny detail to make my day lol
but the ceiling will
indeed.
I always thought Wilbur started playing minecraft for the first time AFTER the ARG with Jack because he was a big deal in minecraft so his fans made him start. I first knew him from soothouse so seeing him start smpearth and be a hug part of dsmp was so weird to me lol
Wilbur is such a lovely person and so relatable. Him, Tommy, Ranboo, and Tecnho all keep me going and just keep inspiring me every day
Yeah they are all amazing
This is kinda weird but if you are ever bored watch Tommy or wilburs ylyl with water in your mouth. I have personally done it and it was extremely fun
i love the way he asks the questions, hes super respectful and kind about it and he knows how to make light of situations :>
These interviews with online creators always go so harddd lesss gooo
Me: trying to not laugh because he’s talking about tough times.
Wilbur’s legs: 🥨
I didn't notice that but now it's got my entire attention 🥲
YES
PLEASE
No u killed me with that- I’m wheezing
@Glitchy_Girl I'll eat it right up.
Anthony is so amazing and Wilbur is veeery sweeeettt
I love it so much! Best of luck to both of you!!
he’s always so down to earth- we were on the same flight in the airport a week ago and i asked for a picture for my cousin and he looked totally surprised. always humble, he was very nice
I love that they dare to talk about stuff that's kinda personal, it shows that they trust us.
“The entirety of the beginning of the DreamSMP was Hamilton.” “Really? Have people put that together?” Oh, Anthony. I dare say they have.
Anthony never disappoints with his interesting interviews.
@Louise ORiS I have no idea. I didn't even know I had 1.4k likes until you replied.
How does this comment doesn't have any replies-
“Do what you love and get lucky!”
Inspirational words of Wilbur Soot 2022
I just want to say Anthony you really know how to hype something up
wilbur’s extremely well-spoken and just generally an intellectual person- honestly he’s the perfect person to appear on an anthony padilla interview :)
Someone should do an interview with Anthony, like someone else interviewing him. That would be cool
Wilbur talking about how he was the weird kid in school really just shows how anyone can become the next big thing. Like i see people be nice to the popular kids just because of their money, or the fact they think they'll become a mega star. In reality it's probably more likely to be the geeky kid in the back of the classroom.
@Ariannah Nichols yas
@BenTeash slaaay
Faxxxxx
In my class everybody is a loud extrovert and I'm just that one introvert (I'm not a geek or a weirdo though)
there’s not rly such a thing as geeks and popular kids anymore..at least not my school…🤨
The fact that he was nervous for the whole video-
He was shaking his leg and that sometimes means if a person is nervous or have anxiety
Man good for you!! Wish I could spend a day w him :]
Love this series especially with the dream smp members
