*Speedrunner tries to beat the game without running*
Steelwool: Fuck it, release the hounds
Like cringe culture is cringe itself
@человек yes
@Milkman I don't think doxxing someone for being cringe ain't cringe
@Bob Joebo frr lol
Giga Monty- fuck you devs, ima hunt for Gregory’s: Montie’s with Gregory down the barrel of 30’6 shotguns.
The game: "He doesn't have any AI; it'll be fine, he'll just sit there."
Monty: "I do not know who I am... I do not know why I am here. *All I know is that I must kill.* "
@Bob Joebo maybe a bit of jetstream sam
So in other words he is the DOOM SLAYER
@Showdown188 That's such a raw quote love it
Intelligence is merely a shackle that causes one to make mistakes, revert to instinct
Considering Monty's very limited presence in the game, this is actually a really cool way to make him a unique, prominent threat on his own. An animatronic that never teleports, just always chases with great pathing and like foxy in fnaf 2, knows you're in the freddy disguise
Broken monty can chase you I was in the daycare coming back from the theater and purposely summoned broken Monty and kept stunning him while walking away and then when I couldn't stun him anymore I just ran to the recharge station when I got in Monte still kept following me
It also fits since monty wants to replace freddy, so he would probably take this as an opportunity to take freddy out anyways.
Normal Monty: "Oh well I cant see the kid anymore, guess he dissappeared."
Giga Monty: *Search and Destroy*
@bepis the science man even the sky wouldn't dare to be blue
Object permanence seems to be a trouble subject to Monty, not for GIGACHAD MONTY though
Giga monty:I've found a downer!
Hunt him down!
Surround the bounder!
Drown him!
Ground him into powder!
Then head down to the grounds for a round of rounders!
What if Giga Monty was supposed to be a punishment for getting caught in the spotlight? In the actual game, Gregory says to avoid the spotlight, but nothing happens if the spotlight catches you, what if that Monty was supposed to basically guarentee your death if you get caught by the spotlight?
I swear I saw a TheXvidr on the way to Parts and Service trigger the spotlight once and Monty chased them down even to the elevator, and I don't know if that was what was meant to happen. It only happened once, and I don't remember the video it was from.
Honestly...now I can see it!
Just hearing a loud "There you are!" followed by a thunderous crash as Monty jumps from the spotlight, becoming a mechanical bloodhound until you complete the mission or die trying
I spent SO LONG trying to get caught in the spotlight. So long, in fact, I began to wonder if Monty was secretly on my side. If the spotlight was supposed to trigger Giga Monty, that would be so cool.
That would make sense. He has no reason to be present on the roof other than attacking you, and it would make sense if he went after you if you touched the spotlight.
Damn
There are so many design oversights in this game, like it's not a terrible game, but if you told me nobody had time to do any code review I'd believe it.
@zalbortrox zalbortox it’s not a bug, it’s a feature.
@Doctor Theo I have no doubt they could’ve done it, just that they were hit with a promised release date
This one is super obvious, too. All it takes is leaving the area and coming back during that quest
the fans rushed them thats why
I've come to one conclusion from this thread;
This is Skyrim
"This game will be so successful, it'll be a monty printing machine!"
"You mean *money* printing machine, right?"
"..."
"...right?"
It's genuinely astounding a glitch like this can happen, and it borderline showcases how well Security Breach could have been.
Obviously they'd have to tone down how aggro the AI is but if the game was like this, it'd be a lot more terrifying.
I've seen people play it, and instead of people getting scared when a guardbot spots them they treat it like an inconvenience. An animatronic teleports, and they run to the nearest hide spot and it's like it never happened.
I genuinely wish they made it so that the animatronics are in a wander state, and as soon as a staff bot is alerted they would go into an aggro state and run to where the staff bot called them. If they see the player, they will then go for a mad dash until they either kill or lose sight of the player for about 3 seconds. This would make it so that you had to actually rely on stealth and your own ability to maintain stamina and your own map knowledge.
Imagine getting spotted by a staff bot, and you hear the thundering footsteps of Roxy making her way towards you, so you dash into the nearest room, but she spots you right as you slip into the room. Roxy chases after you, and you dive into the bathroom stall or other hiding spot, only for Roxy to run in and begin surveying the room as you sit in your little hidey hole watching the cameras until she goes away.
But you know what the sad part is? I basically just described to you the AI of *Baldi's Basics.*
@Neo Qwerty 『Venom Strike』 For the classic edition at least, the original comment is more accurate. For a more in-depth explanation, I recommend Tech Rules’ video on Baldi’s AI.
Nah, Baldi always knows where you are, it's just that doors and other "noise" triggers makes his AI check there first THEN resume pursuit (unless he sees you, which is higher in priority). The AI you described sounds like Haunting Ground/Memento's AI instead.
Unreal Dev here! What it's doing is spawning a new Monty for the sequence, when you enter the trigger, since the sequence is only meant to happen once but the devs don't check to see if that Monty has been spawned into the world, causing another to spawn. A simple check to store that Monty as an Actor variable (Unreal devs will know what I mean) and see if it is set, before spawning, would've prevented this from happening. This check can be done with literally three nodes in Blueprints, one to set the variable, one to get the variable and the third being an IsValid(). Not to big myself up but how a studio of people didn't do something that a solo dev like me would've done is beyond me. The game was definitely rushed out.
@Anxmaly grr
@GIGA Chad i refuse to elaborate on my previous comment
@Anxmaly why not
@GIGA Chad that's not very giga chad of you
english plese
Awesome how you put the stream-chaos into a video
👍🏻
👍🏻
This is the best way
I really like the way Giga Monty works. Instead of just teleporting a murder robot behind you, it instead alerts them and have them chase you with extreme focus.
This reminds me of a moment in Dawko's lore hunting livestreams, when he hit a security bot in Chica's Bakery. Roxanne heard him from the atrium (by this point, she had already been blinded and it's now after 6 am) and proceeded to sprint up to the bakery where the bot was alerted, scaring the crap out of Dawko as he struggled to duck away and hide. She ran right past him and straight into the bakery, since that's where the noise originated, but his screams of terror and panicked movements had me laughing like a loon.
Honestly wish that's how it was normally, makes it so much more tense when you get caught by a staff bot.
It's so much more terrifying xD
I think they should have done it a bit like grim foxy from their other game, FNAF help wanted the curse of dreadbear dlc where the game teleports him near you but around a corner and usually far enough away to see him run after you and to hear him, after all the game does unload areas so they still need the tp
I genuinely wanna see someone do a glitchless speed run in this game where they desperately try to avoid glitches in this game
Lol
So far nearly every animatronic has a super form: Giga Monty from Spiff, Hyperspeed Chica from Mark, and Quantum Freddy from... too many people. We just need to unleash Roxy's super form to have the whole gang.
Don’t forget TVA Moon
roxy isn't good enough for a giga form
*?
Elevator Roxy
Fun Fact: A group of alligators is called a congregation. I love how they all work together with a common goal, almost like a hivemind--with Spotlight Monty as the leader and coordinator. Poor Freddy nearly broke himself at the thought of other Freddy's, while Spotlight Monty is like "Yo fam, want to hunt?" and the other Monty's help him. It's almost a wholesome thought. If I heard a chorus of "Rock and Roll!" as they stampeded after you, I would have died. XD But the fact that they say their own individual lines one by one is even better!
The one broken Monty is just sad, though. His whole congregation gets to run while hunting, while he is doomed to crawl...
Also, is the music at the start "Lone Digger" by Caravan Palace? If so, great choice. Very fitting that you would use a song that features anthro animals killing eachother in a brightly lit club.
@Kennedy Beard Nice. 👍
@Octo 0687 Very. XD
@Kennedy Beard Clever?
@Octo 0687 I see what you did there!
In terms of Security Breach, a gator congregation and a Giga Monty would be a Giga Monty Congregator.
it does seem sad that giga monty is stuck on the spotlight considering how much power it could yield, and it would make gregory's statement "i gotta avoid that spotlight" way more realistic, since it would give you a reason to avoid said spotlight
Love how the incredibly loud thumping and shaking of the Giga Montys is more effective at scaring you than anything in the game
fr
@Gaming Champ Those are spam bots. Ignore them, interacting makes the algorithm think they're legit accounts.
foxy running down the hallways in fnaf 1: who… are you?
giga monty running in herds: i’m you, *but stronger*
This is one of the very few glitches in this game that honestly, they should NOT fix. I would adore if this somehow stayed in game past any and all patches it gets, the ability to turn on a unique hard mode: Monty Is Going To Eat You mode, by just messing with the rooftop Monty
Monty Mode: It's all Monty.
5:51 Ocarina of time also has a glitch involving stairs and unloading/loading things. The entrance to the shadow temple is done stairs down, and if you move just right on them, you can cause the game to load more and more rain without unloading the previous rain.
Eventually, there is so much rain that a giant tombstone over a secret passage can't load in, and now you have access!
(Also, just imagine Gregory moving up and down the stairs with link noises, it's very funny)
I just realized the similarities oh dear
@Whatwaq i believe they are referring to the signature noises of the protagonist in The Legend of Zelda series, Link, who has a very distinct way of audially exerting himself via grunts, yelps, groans, etc.
link noises?
Giga Monty.... easily the scariest and funniest creation known to man. This is exactly why the creators of this game should have had Speedrunners stress test the game, Giga Monty is a prime example lmao
I really like the way Giga Monty works. Instead of just teleporting a murder robot behind you, it instead alerts them and have them chase you with extreme focus.
4:17 "I'm stuck"
"Well done Gregory!"
Terrible job super star
@Keyilaa_____🍒 ratio
WAY-A-GO, SUPER SHIT.
-Freddy Fazbear.
@vixster Still can’t make me
@NeglectedNormie Neither did I ask for your consent.
personally, i think this kind of code warping and unheard of spawn manipulation makes this game so, *so* much more fun than whatever was intended in the release. its just amazing how a free roaming game can turn into an, albeit amazing, dumpster fire with bugs and glitches galore without even trying to seek out the problems, and just playing the damn game. its very obvious this isn't what the devs intended to release to the world, but honestly, i'm glad they did.
So, I'm expecting the next challenge run to be "Can you beat Security Breach with all Giga Animatronics?"
This would be cool for a hard mode. Like each animatronic has its own special power and they all chase you to the ends of the earth. Also, I feel like the animatronics should be able to use their special powers. Like Roxy should be able to see inside freddy since she can see through walls.
'Perfection is not when there is nothing left to add, but when there is nothing left to take away'
Giga Monty's lack of murder inhibiting AI is what makes him a perfect killing machine.
@hyper biscuit That's how it should've been day one.
@Warpedmine
@Анна Кравцовa you are a chad
@thevioletskull tell that to the animatronics trying to eat my brain
The Giga Monty Mindset:
-Spawns on top of the spotlight
-Summons an army of his brethren from four quantum parallel universes
-Asserts his dominance over Gregory and Empathetic Glamrock Freddy
-Refuses to elaborate further
*Leaves
I don’t know how I did it, but when turning on the generator in the basement, it did in fact, duplicate Chica to where there were 2 in the same room as me, and possibly another Chica in the adjacent room. Mind you I was not perusing the destroy Chica quest at the time. I just happened to find a generator and turned it on. So Chica duplication is possible, but good luck finding out how to do it.
At first, I really hated how broken this game was when people couldn't go through a normal playthrough without unintentionally finding glitches.
And now I embrace how broken it is, and I want to know how far its limits will go.
I love so much about this video. The stream chaos, the technical explanation, the awe at the beast that which the games code unknowingly created.
If the devs patch the game, they should publish the fixed version onto a new build or something. The game as it is now should be preserved. It's a gift that keeps on giving.
@ZendPixie It shouldn't because if you just dupe these files all saves will remain and after updating and replacing files it should be in same state as you left it before update. It could mess with your progress if you play between updating and replacing files...
wouldn't that delete all the progress people have made beforehand?
or make it so you can toggle on or off patches
I think you can preserve state of this game by making backup of every file of this version. IF new fixed version releases you can then update it using steam and then place all copied files back where they were. This will confuse steam to thinking you have newest vesion of it even tho you still have completely old version. Same thing is done for beatsaber because every new version breaks all mods and it takes really long time for all mods to update.
They should. It’s so funny
Love how the incredibly loud thumping and shaking of the Giga Montys is more effective at scaring you than anything in the game
This game keeps bringing us surprises and I'm all here for it.
It's truly a gem wrapped up in a buggy mess that just... Adds to it.
I absolutely love giga Monty, especially thier voicelines that keep cutting each other out. really hope this becomes a staple in the fnaf community for years to come
Congrats on reaching #11 on trending! Glad to see all
the traction you’ve been gaining. You deserve it!
10:45 - This part feels like a poor gazelle trying to drink some water in a river teeming with crocodiles.
@Ashley it's a bot
@Hobo Dood Ikr ._.
Or rather... alligators.
I met giga Monty on my first play through, during the part when Monty was on the spotlight I went to left into the area with the lighthouse and as I was looking around I could here this clanking noise and when I turned around Monty burst through the door and started dead sprinting at me when I tried to hide he would just stand there waiting even when I was inside Freddy. 10/10 experience was traumatized for years
This is probably one of my favorite things to come out of security breach. I like to imagine they just strapped some Monty shells on some random endos lying around and you accidently let them loose.
It would actually make more sense to have such doubles ready. In case something happens to the main star, they need to be replaced as quickly as possible.
Thanks for explaining this! It literally doesn't effect my life but I still felt like I needed to know wtf happened. Especially since you spawned 5 without changing the time 5 times
The sound of something coming from God knows where in a full sprint directly towards you is terrifying. Add in the fact that you know it will find you and there are many and that's what sb should have been. Just imagine an animatronic, maybe one of the old ones, slowly lumbering towards you and getting faster the closer it gets with the same giga Monty bloodlust. As an added bonus, it'll just rip Freddy in half because why not.
I decided to summon him today, given that it'll probably be the last chance I get. (The patch is very soon and this is likely one that'll be patched)
I wasn't able to time travel from 5:40 back to 2:00 (I've never been able to recreate that bug), so I had to go from the start of the game (so I didn't have Freddy to hide in) but I did it!
Thank you for this guide.
The game is well put together enough to be pretty, aesthetic, and mostly functional, but broken enough to be hilarious and unpredictable. If the game weren't put together well enough, you wouldn't be able to eventually control the glitches to your liking. :)
Giga Monty can also appear at the start of the game... when Monty busts through the gate you can loop him around the beginning and go into his area... however when you do so, a second Monty appears. Although I do believe that results in a instant kill... I wonder thou, what would happen if you had the camera... would you survive and leave another Monty behind?
You see, the moon time lord tried to get rid of Gregory for tampering with the time line, but he would keep coming back. So, he gave the power of time manipulation to Monty, and he grabbed multiple version of himself from different time lines every time Gregory would enter a certain part of the pizza-plex, adding onto the pile. He knew that Gregory would be caught at least once, and whenever that time came, he would send his army of himself at him with full force
Giga Monty is the exact killer robot everyone dreams of. I love how broken this is. This suffered from eye of the creator bad
The fact it's Monty (aka the best Animatronic in the series in my opinion) that Spiff encountered made the stream even better
I'm so glad we have a 13 minute video of breaking down the exact mechanics of how this glitch happened, cant wait for absolutely nothing to be done about it
Honestly this seems like a perfect idea to add a hard mode to the whole game and have the AI mega op
Honestly, I feel like FNAF: Security Breach has become the new Skate 3, where people disliked it originally for it's bugs, and end up praising it and loving it for them, probably far more than they ever would've if the game was perfect, code-wise, and never had a single bug.
@Bashful Wolfo See, I've only heard of people loving Skyrim for either its mods, or for its side quests.
Or music. James Soule did a fine job with Skyrim's music.
Also, I myself didn't face any bugs/glitches, besides the Esbern voice glitch, which required a patch fix, despite playing the game multiple times at least when it came out.
Albeit, that's just my personal experience with the game. I would've preferred a bunch of funny, but harmless, glitches, instead of literal gamebreaking ones, that aren't even fun nor likeable.
@GrimmBones I’ve never heard of people loving Skyrim just for its mods. I know tons of people that love Skyrim for the glitchy mess that it is, it’s kinda hard not to play the game without encountering a bug lmao.
This is not quite like skate 3, skate 3 actually had pretty good skating mechanics and fun gameplay AS WELL as funny physics and bugs, FNAF: SB has little to no redeeming qualities outside of funny bugs like time travel and Giga-Monty.
@Käll Well, you were a kid.
When you're older, you realize that Skate 3 is not a well developed game.
But, luckily, that's what makes it far more fun, and separates it from other skating games, and allows you to have fun with it even when you're older, because they're that hilarious.
Did people dislike Skate 3 for its bugs? I just remember being a kid and having a blast
Now that's a security system. Imagine if they became more active when the speaker systems announces the Meggapizzaplex is "innitiating nighttime security protocols."
5:27 I think it IS possible to spawn a Chica duplicate. Not sure what the hell happened, but you can see it in Vox Akuma's third stream. What exactly caused it is unknown, but there are a few things to note there:
-a security bot in a specific area was stuck alerting her, which also made her constantly teleport behind the player even when he's inside Freddy
-it was done after 6AM with security badges that probably shouldn't have been available there, letting the player walk through the door next to pizza Chica eats before even going through that part
-triggering the trash compactor scene DID NOT get rid of her, in fact, she was still visible and active during the cutscene separate from cutscene Chica and spawned below, next to a temporarily wrecked Chica with no signs of damage on her beyond 6AM dirt (whether she'd follow the player outside of the general area is unknown, but likely)
-Chica may or may not have been interrupted from eating pizza
2 areas that might have Giga animatronics are: When Freddy is broken near Roxy's Raceway (Though I'm not sure what a Giga-Freddy would do) and Roxy at the beginning of the game when she is stuck behind the gate.
Gotta love how Monty is literally saying "Dont be scared" while a whole army of murder robots chases you
I love how the ai in this game is only threatening when it isn't working properly
@erick montes thank God it's just a stupid bot and not a GIGA bot.
@Keyilaa_____🍒 another bot, greaaaat
Kinda make sense as the running theme of the game is systems being hacked or glitched in order to be killing machines and becoming eerie rather than entertaining, an excerpt to one of the discs in the therapy discs
@montamare yea, but they dont most of the time
Giga Monty is so easy to summon lol. The fact I haven't heard of any sightings until the sprintless run is surprising.
As hilarious as this is, it’s also very terrifying. I wish they’d done this instead of the current system
Giga Monty is now unofficially the scariest thing in a video game ever.
Truly a sight to behold. Now all we need is a glitch that makes Monty larger or Gregory smaller so we can truly have GIGA Monty. Great work as always Spiff!
Giga Monty, the ultimate Chad of this game, buried deep within the code.
It was just a glitch
He is afton embodied
giga monty's one weakness: a showtime disk hidden deep within the pizza plex that for some reason is stashed way away from where it could actually be used (possibly hidden by GM to stop the possibility of being slain after being released by the clutches of the unobservable quantum freddy)
The stream on Saturday where he did this was epic. I watched all the way through.
Giga Monty be like "we call this a difficulty tweak"
Can you imagine how awesome their music would sound if they all played together?
Ironally, I think this glitch is what would have made SB scarier if it was intended. Even without the duplication, The idea of your position being alerted to all the animatronics, and them being set on an unstoppable dash to kill you is terrifying. Way scarier then them teleporting to you and then forgetting everything when you jump on a chair.
@Nimo i get what youre saying, but if they were all EXACTLY like giga monty? the game would be impossible and honestly frustrating in a different way. the player needs some way to escape or its just death loop the game without getting anywhere. though they could definitely use a couple pointers from giga monty, those stomps are terrifying,,, giving them better tracking (they shouldnt be blinded from Greggory by just jumping on a table anyway... such a simple thing but its certainly not the only oversight in the coding) and taking away the ability to shoot them entirely (but maybe still the ability to hide, maybe also cutting down on the amount of hiding spots too) would greatly improve them.
@Isdrakon What if the staff bots could hear you, check hiding spots (subtly with them aiming at your hiding spot and turning away to make you think they didn't report you), move a bit faster, and had a slightly longer forward range of sight? When the staff bots or animatronics see you, they could also increase the Vanny meter (which becomes more sensitive with every upgrade you get, especially from shoes, lazer blast, and the camera).
Honestly if they just rushed at your position at this pace and the security bots (less then there are in game) got better at spotting you for a good bit of time instead of the directly in front of them. This game would actually be terrifying
@Princess Matrix There is a variety of enemies in SB and enemy patterns in SB that are very overlooked. They had soem mechanics like Vanny meter that were sadly cut too.
Then you run into the issue the devs of Pac-Man realized in the 80's. A conga line of enemies with identical tactics is far less interesting
The fact the Steel wool made something unintentionally that was so strong and overpowered makes the game that much more cursed but lovable.
Now I’m just imagining a scene like the one from the Phineas & Ferb movie, with Gregory using the Quantum Screwdriver to travel across dimensions while being hounded by the Giga-Monty army.
So this means Spotlight Monty has a superior version of the AI with tracking capabilities and because he's normally immobilized on the roof he doesn't teleport either.
But why?
The sound of all the Giga Montys talking over each other makes them sound like a Banjo-Kazooie character and I'm all for that.
Security Breach is on another level; breaking so badly that it fixes the AI
I mean, from a gamedev perspective it's definitely not "fixing" the AI. You should still be able to lose them under normal circumstances, and they shouldn't be able to see you through walls (outside of them being alerted to your presence).
Edit: I'm not saying the default SB AI is good or even good game design, I'm mainly saying the broken Giga Monty AI is just a bit unfair and still very broken.
@James Lewis oh yeah that could've worked really well
@Luke Noble yeah after 6 am instead of stupidly disabling saves they, you know, maybe could have done what literally every other fnaf game does on the later levels and make the animatronics more aggressive to actually make the game harder instead of just being cheap
I posted a video about this bug the other day after it happened to me as well, in my save file I had already completed the show time sequence and it was 5 am. I think show time Monty’s will spawn when you run up and down those stairs behind the stage regardless of weather it’s showtime or not so if you don’t have the showtime disk to save yourself then you’re pretty much dead with Giga Monty
i feel like the giga-monty AI built into everyone else with some tweaks and cleaning up to make it less OP would make the game vastly more interesting
As I saw Giga Monty with my own eyes in his stream without saying a word and I can say Giga Monty is the scariest thing in FNAF Security Breach.
As a developer, I think I can actually piece together how this would have gone down in development and playtesting and how certain patches were able to create Giga Monty. There's a lot of content here, but I've tried to explain it in as much detail as possible for anybody who doesn't understand code. Here's how I believe it went down (none of this is official information, only speculation):
I believe the issue has to do with the STAFF AI rather than Giga Monty's AI. In some earlier version of the game, STAFF would have triggered every animatronic to go into some "higher pathfinding" mode (a term I'm going to be using a lot in this explanation). This higher pathfinding mode will force the animatronic to just find the closest path to Gregory and run at the player regardless of how far away they are. Eventually, realising just how difficult it was to escape the animatronics in this state and just how brutal STAFF really were, the devs settled for a much nicer Teleportation AI. What would happen is STAFF will still trigger this higher pathfinding algorithm, but the teleportation AI will overtake this to determine who was closest to Gregory and turn off the higher pathfinding immediately once the closest animatronic is teleported to the player. However, the chase part of the pathfinding is never removed because it's always just terrifying to delete code regardless of whether or not you think you need it.
Some time passes and eventually one designer has the idea to have Monty just stand top of the party check-in and operate the light to spook the player while they make their way up to the 3rd floor to insert the disc. Shouldn't be too difficult to implement, right?
First Implementation: They would have considered that his behaviour will need to be different for him to stand still while there, so the first thing they would have done is create a duplicate "Spotlight Monty" and remove its ability to roam, pathfind, or see the player so that it will just always stand at the light. During this sequence, the game would just delete Monty and spawn in Spotlight Monty on top of the party check-in hut, and likewise delete Spotlight Monty and spawn in regular Monty once the sequence was over.
Once implemented, here's how I think playtesting would have gone:
Bug 1: When getting caught by STAFF, the game would crash. Why? Because the STAFF would attempt to trigger Spotlight Monty's higher pathfinding, even though it was deleted alongside his ability to roam and see the player.
Patch 1: Spotlight Monty gets to keep his pathfinding. It doesn't really matter because the pathfinding will just stop at the ledge of the platform so he'll never be able to pathfind to the player so long as he stays on the roof. I'm actually somewhat convinced that he's only even up there BECAUSE it negates his pathfinding. By giving him back his pathfinding but limiting him to the roof of the Party Check-In, the developers were able to patch the crashes and avoid running into any issues that may have risen by giving Spotlight Monty pathfinding (or so they thought).
Bug 2: Towards the end of playtesting, in a single attempt to see what might happen when the atrium is unloaded and reloaded, they would have seen that Spotlight Monty "disappears" once the atrium is unloaded and reloaded, not realising from a distance that he actually just falls through the unloaded hut.
Patch 2: Whenever the atrium is unloaded and loaded back in, they would just spawn Spotlight Monty again without deleting the old once, since they believed the older one was just being deleted on its own. Once patched, they would have seen that Spotlight Monty was now where he was supposed to be after unloading and reloading, and moved on without ever catching on to Spotlight Monty falling through the unloaded asset and being duplicated this way.
Thus, by deleting the teleportion AI, Giga Monty is never told who is closest whenever he is placed into the higher search mode, and thus he is never told to leave higher search mode once the teleportation AI determines the closest animatronic to the player. Once he is placed into higher search mode, he'll stay in higher search mode, running after the player from wherever he is in the map like the developers originally intended to happen when STAFF find the player. He can't see the player, nor can he roam on his own, but once he falls through the party check-in and is able to pathfind to the player, he'll chase after Gregory like hell the moment a STAFF bot places him into higher search mode.
To patch this, all a developer would have to do is add a SINGLE line of code to delete any Spotlight Monty's once the atrium is unloaded, that way he can never be duplicated, nor can he ever touch the floor and become a threat once moved to higher search mode.
To properly fix this, I'd suggest just deleting his pathfinding code without actually deleting the trigger. This way, the STAFF can still happily place Spotlight Monty into higher search mode, but it just won't affect him.
TLDR: Giga Monty isn't to blame. The STAFF are.
I love how Giga Monty is a better Monty than Monty himself.
The game set a very low bar for horror so surpassing it doesn’t say much
@The Nooblet Giga Monty makes this statement tru~
orange number in corner is number of giga montys per second
As a beginning indie game developer, I would like to know what exactly makes him act in this strange way.
It's cool to see the community come together to solve this, but I still like thinking of giga Monty as a time keeper punishing you for messing with time.
This can actually be found naturally in the game fail The vent section and both Roxy and Monty will be put in this stage I figured out this when I was just messing with the game and Friday would not come to save me because he was in the same room as me so I just clipped out with the Freddy glitch and both Roxy and Monty hunted me down eventually killing me
The fact that Giga Monty is even able to surpass the strength of being slightly elevated proved he is a superior lifeform.
10:48 The sound of the Giga Monty march struck a fear in me I didn't know was possible even though I knew they couldn't reach Spiff
@Drewski Games Only thing we can do is report them
i know what you mean it was like i was filled with just an immense dread and it was by far scarier than anything in the normal game could hope to achieve
TheXvid needs to remove these bots
If the devs patch the game, they should publish the fixed version onto a new build or something. The game as it is now should be preserved. It's a gift that keeps on giving.
Just an observation but I think I may have experienced something connected to giga Monty's AI pathing. During the disk sequence when spotlight Monty is there, after you put in the disk and make your way back to the main stage, vanny spawns. Now maybe this was just some weird glitch for me but before I knew that vanny was present during this sequence, I was hiding in one the camera booths on the second floor to avoid chika. I then saw the distortion effect. I check the cameras and watched as vanny skipped from the third floor, down the escalators to the second. At first I was not bothered because I was hiding in the booth on the second floor and there was no way she could have seen me hide in here. However, vanny went straight for me and then just waited outside the booth to kill me, there was nothing I can do. I'm telling this whole story because this kind of AI pathing seems exactly the same to giga Monty. Perhaps there could be a connection in programming there.
Ahhh, the first annual Running of the Monties. A beautiful event.
Him trying to see if a plant could stand against a herd of Montys made my day
Y’all remember the line where Freddy talks about his existential crisis about mass producing animatronics…..
@Poggers Guy replying to the bots makes the TheXvid algorithm think it's a legit comment. Just don't reply, and it'll be much easier to get rid of them, because then a lot less people have to report it.
My theory is that Giga Monty is somehow a Monty with Freddy's pathfinding, since Freddy is the only other animatronic with that level of pathfinding. It would also make sense for him to track you in Freddy if he is using Freddy's pathfinding, since Freddy would likely be programmed to run to Gregory no matter where he is. In conclusion, I believe Giga Monty is basically just Freddy pathfinding with hostile animatronics' jumpscares.
I was at the stream when giga monty was first created, its an honor to witness such a beautiful glitch
Same Giga Monty is the most powerful animatronics
Oh my god I actually had a similar experience to what you described but with Chica. I don't know how I did it, but it was after 6 AM and I was down by the underground exit by the kitchen. Somehow I managed to get her to behave like how the Montys were, she could see me while inside Freddy, and she was always following me. I panicked and went for the exit to do the Vanny ending, and she jump scared me mid cutscene causing a game over. I know you mentioned a method that could do this with Chica at the end of the video, but I think I did it a different way because I don't think she wasn't eating when I first found her.
Profile Giga Monty (Timebreaker Monty): Has the ability to locate Gregory at all times with superior powers than any animatronic. Usually summoned with messing with the space time coontinuum and breaking the laws of the universe. Gregory's true enemy
Security Breach is slowly reaching the same level of legendary bugs as Skyrim. Amazing.
Slowly? I only came out 2 months ago
Yes! And I bet it's no coincidence that this channel also has "spiff" in it's name just like TheSpiffingBrit whom made so many broken Skyrim videos !
Sheesh
Ah yes, could say this glitch gives you a "Full Monty" experience
Chica can be duplicated, but it seems to be harder to do. One playthrough i watched by Xman 723 had this glitch occur. He had one Chica stuck in the kitchen, but another Chica could still get him around the building. So he basically had a permanent fixed Chica, and also a Shattered Chica at the same time.
I also feel bad for Freddy in here, having to deal with so many Montys XD
I managed to duplicate chica on my personal run through. I went and did Monty golf and then glitched into Fazer blast because I wanted a 6am save with as much as possible. When I got to the trash compactor, chica was eating garbage and there was a second one staring at the generator. After the trash eating chica was alerted, I had two chicas staring at the generator.
Unironically, your channel is a very capable source for Steel Wool to fix Security Breach.
They can patch it after you've discovered each bug.
A mod where all the animatronics are always giga (in places where such A.I. modifications wouldn't completely break the game) would be cool.
Putting the Showtime Disk in just Purges the timeline. Amazing.
The no speedrun had me laughing when a bunch of montys came from the middle of the map all the way upstairs to find you
Giga Monty took the "I will send a fully armed battalion to remind you of my love" wayyy too literally
this is one of the few times I legitimately am looking forward to seeing how unfinished a game is
@Marina this is why you only have 1 sub
@sendy this is why you only have 9 subs
@C H A R L O T T E 🖤 this is why you have 8 subs
@Keyilaa_____🍒 this is why you have 4 subs
@Happypikachu3 beans here to help
#7 on trending. Dude, you're killing it.
We need a mod that only has giga versions of all the animatronics replacing all of them from the base game.
Or a mod that removes there teleport.
The fact that the infinite squadron of Giga Monties spawns in and spends all their free time at the *Party Check-In* is like the cherry on top of the quantum fuckery horror sundae.
