Any movie with climbing is FAR more realistic than any movie involving caving. Caving in movies is horrible!

I would like to see more women represented by Hollywood in climbing AND it makes so much sense.
Most non-climbers would associate climbing with power and yet it's more about technique in fact the aim is to use as less energy as possible.
Power vs Technique and efficiency - Women climbing presents a lot of great opportunity for contrast and the greatest action sequences are ALL about contrast
Many of the top female climbers are NOT AT ALL weak (I'm not saying this) I'm drawing a distinction between the body of a climber who has a higher strength to weight ratio coupled with technique and agility than a person who sits in a gym all day lifting weights and bulking up and would simply have zero chance of lugging their useless bodies up a cliff face.

I love how he says (about the Dark knight clip) "he cant do it with the rope, then take the rope away and he can do it?". Alex, do you not remember falling & fracturing your ankle with a rope and then doing it without the rope? 😁

After watching his documentary and his appearance on Rogans podcast along with random other videos I really wish he was retired. I know it's what he loves to do and that I don't know him personally in any way but I'd be devastated if he were to ever fall. We'd be losing a truly great person. Both achievement and personality wise. He's likable on a whole different level than most people.

I'm terrified just hearing him talk about some of this stuff without a second thought. I mean, I've done a little bit of recreational climbing. I wouldn't call myself "a climber," certainly not with this guy in the room, and I'm not afraid of heights, but hearing him talk casually about certain techniques that would most certainly result in my death....yikes.

GQ: Gentlemen's Quarterly? Sexism right in the name, and an insult to the other 68 genders. Reported and Flagged. This will now blow up on twitter you sexist pigs. I call for the boycott of this masochistic bunk, no wonder their magazine is dieing. Have you ever looked through a Gentlemen's Quarterly (aka GQ) magazine before they tried making thier move to digital? The most sexist tripe you could ever imagine, glorifying masculinity as if we are suppose to put men up on a pedestal? why? cuz they can arm wrestle? !@#$ that, and !@#$ this Gentlemen's Quarterly noise as well right?
