Theresa May: 'I'm going to deliver Brexit on Time' - BBC News

  • Published on Feb 7, 2019
  • The EU and UK will hold further talks on changes to their Brexit deal to help Theresa May get it through the Commons.
It comes after what both sides said was a "robust but constructive" meeting between Mrs May and European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker.
Mrs May wants to prevent the UK being "trapped" in the backstop - the plan to keep the Irish border open.
Mr Juncker ruled out legally-binding changes to the backstop clause in the withdrawal agreement.
But he said the EU would be open to adding words to the non-binding future relations document that goes with the withdrawal agreement, following their meeting.

Mrs Joke is a delusional traitor to our democracy and the British people. Why are the Conservative Party delaying getting rid of her? She has presided over a stupid election which ended up with a minority government, has lost the Conservative Party over 1,300 councillors their jobs and is about to be destroyed yet again on 25rd May and yet she still thinks she is right while negotiating with the left..She has a perverted view of what the National Interest is. Her EU deal is a bad deal but she won't admit it. Stupid beyond belief!

The PM doesnโ€™t represent brexit whatsoever and has completely alienated herself
from 17.4 million British people and broken the trust of her own Conservative party.
Her attitude and stubbornness to cooperate with the British people has now become
so profound that she is an absolute disgrace to hold high office through disobedience.

For me, a Dutchman living in the Netherlands, the wish of the Brexiteers
to leave the EU is like the surge of lemmings to kill themselves.
I wonder what has caused this naivety. Is it the island mentality? Is is
the influence of the boulevard press, largely owned by Rupert Murdoch?
Is it an absolute ignorance of the world outside the UK?
    I say this,
because I love the UK as a country. The Brits have liberated my country
in ww2. I have british friends that live here and that are very worried
about a brexit. We also need the UK in the EU because we're dooing so
much trade with each other and we need the Brits in the EU to maintain
alliances that can oppose some of the policies thar are initited by
southern european countries. We need to reform the EU from the inside
out, but let's keep the EU because it has brought us all so many things!

I could never, for the life of me, understand why you joined this union
in the first place. Being a Canadian, I was taught that the
Commonwealth was never to be controlled by outside forces. "We shall
never surrender" was the phrase I remembered and stood by that spoke so
much to me. Granted, I do not know the full metrics of your involvement
and membership however, it just always felt like bending to an outside
I am cheering for your return to the Commonwealth and your sovereignty!

Brexit is such a great thing right? that is why Scotland Northern Ireland London voted against it..
Get a grip Theresa this is an impossible task: do not deliver brexit rather take a hit and restart everything on clearer footing or just get a nodeal and -wow - will be a terrible waste to see you inundated by hormone laden crap from everywhere , boats of Chinese workers , oncogenic Chinese products and nothing that quite is what you expect after you paid top pounds for it.
Welcome to the world of Trump of China perverse expansionism at any cost , of neoliberalism without brakes: you voted for it.
The issue is not the EU is neoliberalism and free trade without ANy control: the Eu could do something about it, you can t little england , actually you promote it via brexit: the point is You will be vaporized by it .

I'm developing a deep and intense hatred of this woman and her rotten deal. We voted LEAVE, not for a bogus deal that keeps us locked into the shackles of a tyrannical dictatorship for all eternity. Stop wasting time Mrs May, the only thing we want from you is to leave without a deal. No customs union, no backstop and no 39 billion. Just LEAVE. And then resign. Because frankly, we're all bloomin sick of you.

Our Prime Minister, May, has been very dishonest over Brexit. May 'is' the Number One Liar in the country and isn't delivering what people asked for which was for a No Deal. As a Remainer May has told Brexiters a whole pile of lies over the past two to three years - Brexit means Brexit and No Deal Is Better Than a Bad Deal. The PM has delivered a Remainer's Brexit (Brexit in name only) and continues to mislead Brexiters to the delight of Remainers who think they have a chance at a Second Losers Vote. If a Brexit party is created, and led by Farage, the Tory party will be destroyed as 80 percent of their voters supported Brexit and voters will never forget - similar to what the Lib Dems did over student fees - being stabbed in the back.

The only Brexit she should be delivering is on WTO terms which are fare to trade in both directions. The Uk does not need a bad expensive deal where our Tax payers will continue to pay the EU vast sums of UK cash. The EUs own web page states..... The full cost the UK will pay will be more than ยฃ39 billion as may other out standing EU demands have not been covered in these EU preconditions. May and the EU hiding the full cost of their deal from the UK public.
Next the part in their so called deal where the EU demand that no EU criminal present or future can be taken to a UK court. This gives EU passport holders different rights to the rest of us here in the UK. This gives diplomatic immunity to EU passport holders including future IRA/Irish Republicans who attack the peoples of the UK. Even ISIS will carry EU passports.
THE FINAL straw is called TUSK who insulted the voters of the UK with his place in HELL for them.
WE know what we voted for and that is a full with draw from the EU under WTO terms whish allow trade to continue. We did not vote for May to go and waste time begging to the EU. She should be out getting World Trade sorted and using the money we save by not prepaying the EU for the right to trade to boost our ability to trade world wide. Yes that is right the EU is not a free trade area it is prepay with our TAX for the right to trade. The EU demand bigger and bigger sums of UK tax every year. They even dream up new ways to take our money such as the massive cash demand issued by the EU for an estimated black market. Which the UK paid with out any proof of the figures involved. Then there is the hidden Tariffs such as the 36ppl on petrol. The greedy EU could put diesel cars of the road by dropping this greedy tax from petrol. After all they claim to protect the environment but they prefer to take our money. Look at the Chinese steel imports where the EU toke their tariffs and done nothing to help the UK steel industry compared to the way the protected Spanish grown foods where they increased tariffs on imported competition in all the EU to protect the Spanish growers.
Then theres the EU demands for the SO Called Irish Back Stop. This is nothing more than Mrs May agreeing to give the EU everything they demand in the next part of the deal. More money paid though Vat etc to the EU on everything we buy even it is from the rest of the world. Remember this deal of Mays is not a case of failing to agree a trade deal and all is off and we all fall back to WTO rules. Under her deal she gives the EU every thing they demand or hand over Northern Ireland to the EU for ever. These EU demands have already lead to bombs on our streets by Irish Republicans who now seen the EU as being on their side. Shame on the EU backing bombers in the UK.

Does nobody have the power to call the BBC to account?
    WEBPAGE? -------
They relentlessly transmit propaganda, distortions, lies, biases, deliberate mistakes, etc. as they please. Because the BBC knows that if anyone has the time or will to raise a complaint against the BBC about an incorrect or biased news story, by the time it is 'dealt' with, the 'damage' will already have been done. IT IS CRIMINAL!
Here's the page where the BBC 'apologises' for it's mistakes:
....And the masses are fine with that?
